Burgerville is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Oregon. I like the fresh tasting food of which many of the ingredients are locally sourced. I like their rotating seasonal menu. The Walla Walla onion rings and Yakima Valley fried asparagus are among my favorites. I also like the berry shake and they also have a seasonal apple pie shake that I enjoy very much. I had a great experience at the Corvallis Burgerville yesterday. The gentleman who took our order was very friendly and helpful, and he got all of our customizations entered correctly. The decor of this location seemed updated compared to Portland area locations, which provided for a nice ambiance. My basic double cheeseburger tasted exactly as expected -- just as tasty as when I first tasted them 50 years ago. The fries were delicious, as well -- golden brown and crispy on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside. It was also nice having unsweetened iced tea available as a drink option. My kid is in the hospital in Corvallis and twice now I have gotten BV for dinner on the way back home. I went through the drive thru.They were fast and friendly. The first time I got a quarter pound colossal burger, which is my fav because it has yummy Burgerville spread on it,( pretty sure its mayo, mustard, and relish), with dill pickles, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and no onions. It was good. I also got seasonal gluten free fried asparagus. The asparagus was fine, but I'm not a big fan of the new crumbly coating. I liked the old tempura batter better even though it didn't really stick well. I got 6 spears ( it was s'posed to be 5, I think I got an extra bc two were kinda small) for $4.95. There was no aioli like there used to be. Maybe I was supposed to ask for it, I don't know. The second visit I got chicken strips and chips ( fries) and honey mustard for dipping with a diet coke. There were four chicken strips ( two were small) instead of 3 which was nice, and they were hot. They were really salty. The fries were so much better than the fries I'm used to from Portland Burgerville, they were hot and crisp outside, fluffy inside and had a bit of peel on them. I also got a diet coke. Burgerville is the only fast food that I do. As a dietary restriction warrior most fast food is a landmine. I appreciate that they have plant-based alternatives and offer extensive substitutions as well as additions. They also have excellent plant-based ice cream shakes. read more

I used to absolutely love Burgerville. That was when I was a kid and my parents were paying for my meals. I now understand why they didn't love going there... It's expensive. I can get an equivalent (and often tastier) lunch at a multitude of places in Corvallis for 10 a 15% less than I would pay at Burgerville. My children aren't as keen on Burgerville so I don't go there often anymore. On my last visit I did something I rarely do at fast food places. I ordered the fish sandwich. Initially it looked promising, but my first bite revealed that my sandwich was not cooked through. Getting it replaced was not difficult but had I used the drive through and figured out the problem 10 miles down the road... that would have been annoying. Burgerville has good shakes and I especially like their waffle fries... it's not all bad but it doesn't always feel like you're getting what you paid for when it comes to value. read more

I've been there twice in the last month around 11:45. Both times the service was great. Food came fast. This place is consistently busy, and expect a bit longer waiting during peak business hours, but so worth it because food is fresh, real, quality ingredients. They have gluten free buns (not celiac) and vegetarian options. Fries were amazing. Even the napkins are greener, and seems they try more sustainable practices. Local police department are here regularly too if that says anything. read more

My favorite burger in Oregon! And in Washington too! My favorite location is in southern Vancouver, on the other side of the bridge from Portland. They had service with a smile. I also learned a long time ago not to let them put your sauces on. I love how Burgerville has side sauces that are wrapped and protected from tampering. So I always get my No. 6 burger, extra patty, grilled onions, extra cheese. The buns are always on point with the toasting. Good brioche buns. The grass fed beef takes it over the top and it's a solid 4 out of 5. The only thing that would make it better is to make the burgers a tad bit bigger. In my opinion. Pet peeve! Again I'm honest and well may hurt some feelings but it's my experience only at that time. Let's start off on the positive side of things. Service was good. It was friendly. Let's talk food. I had the halibut sandwich (hamburger). I actually thought is was some type of flounder or sting ray. Lol the fish was very thin and way smaller than the bun. Very crispy. Now the pet peeve. The cost. I know inflation is among us and only getting worse but in many cases the fast food industry is suffering quality in the food. So with that said and I say this loudly. Why in hell you want me to tip you. A fast food place in 50 years never asked for a tip and now. You didn't serve me my food at the table. You didn't come over and ask me if my food was good or if everything is ok. You didn't come and take my empty back. And it starts at 15%-30% Never will I leave a tip. Ask your boss to pay you more. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger as a combo. $16.60 total, so I was expecting a damn good burger! Nope. The burger patty was cold! So cold that the cheese wasn't the least bit melted! It was also bland, with no flavor. It wasn't even a good size burger! I could have got a better burger from a gas station! The fries were nothing special either. Small for the price. Save your money and go across the street to McDonalds! You'll get a better burger for a better price. What a disappointment! My first visit. Place was clean and freshly updated. The menu includes salads and fried pickles. The toppings on the burgers were tasty, but the patties need to be seasoned more. However, our Tillamook cheese wasn't melted at all, which took away from the classic cheeseburger experience. However, the shakes were divine; thick and flavorful. read more

I come to this location every few months when I'm in town. I've never had a bad experience, the food is always fresh and fast, and the iced tea is always fresh brewed. Only once have I had an order that was incorrect and it was corrected. Service has always been officiant and friendly. What I'm sad about though is since my last time here, they have changed their fries. No longer serving their skinny fries -- one of the main reasons I love their food. Their fries are now that natural cut that I'm just not crazy about. They're not horrible but I miss the skinny fries. Their Classic Combo was delicious and cheaper than McDonalds next door. I've also tried the Fish and Chips, which is Halibut or Cod, not Tilapia. Burgerville has always been a "treat" for me. Yes, it is pricey, and you're essentially getting an upscale McDonald's. I wasn't impressed with my cheeseburger, but the fries were good. The Strawberry Shake was amazing and seemed to have real bits of Strawberry in it. The drive-thru cashier was a champ and separated our order for us. Quick, efficient service. Decided to get take out for delivery in the website said that it would be a 45 minute wait. So my daughter instead drove to the To pick it up. She waited in Line for 10 minutes to get the food. The Burger is not excited a Patty is very thin (similar to a cheese burger from McD), should have gotten the quarter pound patty. The fries were good and the waffle fries were very yummy. Nice portion size. My daughter most especially liked the dairy-gluten free options like the milkshake and gluten free buns. We would eat here again but our expectations for the burgers will be a little bit lower. It your typical fast food restaurant. read more
