I used to go there a lot until one senior lady server thought it was better to get into a long conversation with some guy she was attracted to than to make sure I had coffee. Delivered to our hotel room in about 15 minutes . Food was hot and tasty . No butter for the French toast and BBQ sauce is VERY sweet .. pretty minor issues in what was a pretty good meal ! Would eat here again . Thanks dennys ! read more

3rd strike your out. This Dennys is either really good or really bad. Unfortunately it's been resale bad the last 3 times we have been there and we are done with them. The reason for the one star is the waitress. She was polite and very apologetic about how things transpired. We started our dinning experience by waiting about 50 minutes for our food from the time we sat down to the time we got our food. We were blessed to be sitting across from the kitchen so we could see them making food, and could see they were backed up. Our waitress also apologized about the wait, and about the kitchen being behind. Shortly after we sat down one of managers were leaving for the day, and no care about the kitchen being behind or that there were customers waiting for their food. At one point he was asked if they had any more potatoes. He responded with there should be some in the bottoms drawer. He was told none there, and is response was OK, good night. Again no care about his customers or his night crew. It simply was not his problem. We had ordered breakfast for dinner. 2 eggs over hard, pancakes and bacon. A breakfast sandwich and fries, so again 50+ minutes not good. After finishing our meal our waitress again apologized for the kitchen wait. At checkout the hostess asked about our food, and I told her that the kitchen sucked, our wait sucked, and the managers seemed not to care. She replied that yes, the kitchen is a hot mess and apologized. I told her about the manager leaving without a care instead of jumping in and helping or getting someone to help. Her response was that he was not feeling well and things are a hot mess right now. So now I am getting angry that someone who is sick is around my food, and folks that interact with me potentially getting me and my wife sick, along with anyone else there. She again apologized, but that does not help us out in any way, shape, or form. So in the end we will no longer be going to this Dennys and do not recommend it. read more

I feel badly about trying this place twice in the past two weeks. It has been a waste of tastebuds both times. The food comes out looking NOTHING LIKE the pictures on the menu. The fries are old and cold. The sandwiches ..... where do I begin.... The super bird last weekend was minimalistic, off color, and took forever. The Cali Club today was a cold meat sandwich cut in half with the ever present cold and greasy fries. Gross. The place was pretty busy this week but that was not the case last week. I asked the waitress for some hot fries and she said "those aren't hot?" "No they are cold", I replied "I understand, you guys are busy, but when you get a chance please just bring some fresh ones". She said ok but they never materialized. We asked for ranch dressing when we ordered but we're half way through the meal by the time it arrived after two more requests..... EVERY time I place a to-go order online it's not ready until at least 20 minutes after they say it will be. Even when the app says it is ready, they tell me it isn't. Usually, it is because they are swamped. This time there were a total of 4 families eating dine-in. Perhaps, if the waitstaff spent more time working and less time with their phones in their hands, they'd provide more expedient service. read more

To begin with, I'm not a big fan of Denny's restaurant chain due to the poor service and average tasting commercialized food. However the Denny's in Albany, OR changed my perception due to the excellent service and quality of the food. Despite the busy Saturday morning, our waitresses were both very friendly and attentive. Our food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering and everything tasted very good. I am pleased with this Denny's restaurant and might be the only one I will visit haha. read more

I read about what others complaint about the waitress, that's right, they are rude!! but they do the job, I mean, my orders are always good and fast, probably they are like that and is acceptable by the manager. I'm ok with that. My low rate is because the menu 2, 4, 6, 8 is not accurate. If you order any item at the end you pay $0.99 more. I order a $6 and a $8 and on the check it says $6.99 and $8.99, when I ask for the "mistake" the waitress says that the price is accordint to the menu, $6 and $8, the $0.99 are an acceptable addition because the dollar amount remains as advertised. In other words, false advertisement because there are no food for that prices. I wonder if everything on the menu is priced according to the check. $0.99 is not a big deal but to me seems that it has to be disclaimed, otherwise are hidden charges and should be illegal. read more

It was late & we were tired & hungry, so we didn't check the order before we left. I ordered a sandwich with no tomato but they put it on there anyway. My husband and I went to dennys for breakfast this morning. Our waitress was great! but that is about the only thing that was. The food was HORRIBLE! He got the country fried steak with hash browns and scrambled eggs and I got the American grand slam with pancakes. The hash browns were so starchy that's all you could taste and they were a weird texture. The bacon and sausage both were also no good. his country fried steak he said tasted almost "fake" (only way he could describe it). I figured at least my pancakes would be good being as they smelled so good... NOPE!!! they tasted like what a dirty dish water. First visit to Albany's Denny's. Greeted with warmth and friendliness. Restaurant is very clean and observing COVID restrictions. Our server was very prompt with our beverages - excellent coffee by the way. Ordered and food arrived hot, well cooked and nicely presented. Great breakfast - eggs cooked to perfection as were the bacon and hash browns. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the same with an addition of some gorgeous fluffy pancakes. We will defined be back. read more

I decided to give them a try after I stopped going there over a year ago because of poor service and food. This time was great. I ordered the strawberry stuffed French toast recommended by my server. They had a very nice lady who I think was stopping at tables to check on us. She mentioned she was a new manager at Dennys and wanted to make sure our visit was perfect! We like the atmosphere.
