Service is friendly and it never takes too long for your food to arrive at your table. Old World Deli is in my top 3 sandwich spots in Corvallis. Perhaps if you're visiting for a lighter lunch, the portion would feel better. We ate around dinner time and were pretty hungry, so this will factor into our dining decisions. The only downside is that the spoons that are provided are a little big for the bowl that you are given, so you are bound to spill a little bit. We grabbed a patio table instead of waiting inside and really enjoyed the atmosphere, though the QR code ordering system made things a little tough when trying to grab extra coffee, water, or ask questions without a server around. The Birdy Mary was solid but landed around a 6/10 for me, missing some of the spice and depth I personally like in a great Bloody Mary, but the hot drip coffee absolutely hit the spot. The food, though, was outstanding. My wife and I split the BLT with crispy bacon and avocado spread, paired with potatoes that were somehow crispy, soft, and packed with flavor all at the same time. Our daughter and son-in-law ordered the "I'm the Good Kind of Fat" special with house-smoked salmon, poached egg, arugula, and avocado on sourdough, and every bite looked better than the last.
