We ate here frequently when they came to Woodburn. Then twice received chicken nuggets that were hard and overcooked. Told that that is impossible because the fry time is on a timer. Now we eat our chicken elsewhere. I didn't appreciate being called a liar in a round about way. Thought they were all about customer service. Other items were fine.

An hour wait in drive thru on a Saturday evening. Never again. Not sure what is up with this location.

1 Star: MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD - Raw Meat Served…read more Avoid this location for your own safety. The current operation here is serving dangerous, undercooked food. * Serving Raw Beef: I just received a Quarter Pounder that was entirely rare/raw in the center. This is a massive food safety violation. * Deliberate Negligence: McDonald's grills operate on automated, precision timers for a reason. For beef to come out this raw, staff must be deliberately overriding the safety mechanism and pulling meat off the grill before the cycle completes just to speed up service. * Dangerous Practices: This is not a slight cooking error; it is a total failure in food safety protocols. Prioritizing speed over ensuring meat is actually cooked is how people get severely ill. If they are willing to serve raw ground beef, do not trust anything else coming out of that kitchen. Look at the photos and judge for yourself.

I walked into this particular McDonalds, past the self serve kiosks and up to the counter. What I see is an incredibly busy kitchen, employees hustling and an extremely clean kitchen area at that. Even the lobby and tables were very clean. Having worked fast food in my teen years I get how difficult it can be. Suddenly one of the staff comes around the corner and gives me a great smile and asks what he can do for me. I can see how busy they are, but this guy is gracious and smooth. Almost feels like meeting up with a pal. My order comes out in just a few minutes, these folk were hustling. The lady that brought my order out also had a genuine smile and a very clear and cheerful "have a good day". The level of positive service during an extreme rush hour was phenomenal and just needs to be mentioned. It was a pleasant stop for me on a long road trip.

This is our go-to Mexican place in Woodburn and it hasn't disappointed yet…read more Food has always been good, love getting chips, salsa & extra sauces in squeeze bottles. Ice water at the utensil stand. Service was so friendly. There were meats we were unfamiliar with, so the counter staff offered us a small sample. Barbacoa is now my jam! We ordered 4 meals: Chile relleno, tamale special, torta, & enchilada special. The specials are well-priced at under $12. We stopped in about 45 minutes before closing and staff did not rush us out. Nothing fancy ambiance-wise and this place looks similar to other Mex places on Front St. So make sure you're in Luis'!

No business embodies the vibrant Mexican community of Woodburn more so than Luis's Taqueria…read more Located along the strip of businesses on Front Street, this family owned business have been a perennial destination for Michoacan-style Mexican fare for over 3 decades. The first thing folks will notice is the colorful decor of paper piñatas across the ceiling and the spacious digs with lots of 4 top tables for some limited group action. Orders are placed at the counter and the menu is vast enough where there is something to offer for everyone. Some immediate recommendations would be their tamales platter, along with their enchiladas rojas, and their Americanized tacos dorados. Their burritos are especially large and a complete gut bomb for anyone looking for a major filler. Their ceviche tostadas are beautiful, along with their layered tortas, and hearty chimichangas. While I don't love their corn tortillas or the tacos, I would be down to give them another shot. Cabeza and carne asada especially. The prices have crept up over the years, to where many items have hit the sub $10+ range and even tacos are at $3.50 a pop. There is a price to pay for fame, but the only time it should be dinged is if the price no longer matches the quality. Ultimately, this will always be one of the city's most popular lunch destinations and local haunts. It's so well known that Obama has been here (#1) and continues to bring in new faces every week. This is a must visit for any Mexican food lover and especially for first timers in Woodburn. ____________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/luiss-taqueria-woodburn?select=iYjRIeJrLS47keUaG0_vVQ

While technical issues happen, the way the situation was handled was disappointing. The employee who came to assist was rude, abrupt, and gave the impression that we were an inconvenience. There was no greeting, no "please," no "thank you," and no attempt to be friendly or helpful. Every interaction felt cold and dismissive, as if helping customers was a burden. The original employee wasn't particularly warm, but wasn't the main issue. The poor attitude of the employee who stepped in to handle the card reader problem is what made the experience unpleasant. Customer service doesn't have to be overly cheerful, but basic courtesy and professionalism should be expected

The men's room was locked from when we arrived to when we left and my boyfriend had to use the men's room. I asked them to check the bathroom and was told very rudely that, "Yes, they know. And that it was one of their employees throwing up." Lovely. I said maybe he should be sent home. When the door was still locked ,I asked again (the men's room was unavailable for at least a half hour from when we arrived so not sure how long but it was locked when we got there). I brought it again and the manager told me the guy had it coming out both ends. Just what you want to hear after eating in a restaurant! YUCK. This crew needs some serious training on customer service!! It escalated to one of their employees (I will not name him) berating and yelling at us and telling us to leave. In the beginning, a simple, "I am so sorry. We have an unwell employee," would have sufficed. Instead we were treated like the bad guys and given details of his illness.
