Club sandwich w/fries & an order of fried mushrooms on the patio at Molalla River Brewing Company.
    Rose D.

3-stars = A-Okay! Food truck located at Molalla River Brewing Company, so you can enjoy your meal either inside at the taproom or out on their huge patio & lawn. The Hubs & I shared a club sandwich, which came with seasoned fries. The club sandwich is HUGE! So big even my husband couldn't bite through the whole thing in one bite, because there was a ton of lunchmeat on there in addition to all the other toppings & 3 layers of bread. It was very good, but I would have preferred they put less lunchmeat on it & charge a bit less (a whopping $17 w/fries) because it was impossible to eat without disassembling it a bit. Their seasoned fries are the thick steak fry style, and they were very good. We also got an order of fried mushrooms because we didn't know the sandwich was going to be so huge. The fried mushrooms were very good as well, but we didn't notice they came in 2 sizes (6-pc or 12-pc) until we were leaving & the guy that took our order didn't ask us what size we wanted and just put it in as a large 12-piece order. We would have definitely preferred a smaller order had we realized there was a choice. It took 20 minutes for our order to be ready without any orders ahead of ours because there was just 1 guy working at dinner time on a weeknight.

Lumber Jack burger food cart is our top option for take out in town. The food is pretty good and there's usually not a huge wait to get our food. I could not find a recent menu photo so I added them in my review. Prices are a bit pricey for a burger food cart but not above $20.

So the pictures look way better then the burger actually is the patties taste like old stale bad frozen beef and just not good at all the bun was soggy and soaking wet over all it wasn't worth going back but like everywhere else in this small town the food sucks say these people really need to get out more and see what good food is really like

Fries: enough and seasoned decently. I got curly fries. Sauce: grabbed some bbq. Obviously sweet bby rays, but it's okay because they didn't charge extra. Burger: grabbed a big daddy. Filled me up well, assembled cleanly. I stabbed myself in the mouth with the toothpick holding it together, but that's my bad for not looking for one, as the burger was pretty much as tall as the toothpick. Eggs and ham were nice. Side order of chicken tenders: 9$ for 3 chicken tenders is pretty weak, being the only reason for the lack of 5 stars. I would still eat here again sometime, if in the area and had the capitol.

Sooo..... Came down here for lunch today with my family and brother and sister in-law..... Was great great burger..... the not so great is well not real sure what to say. So we pull in and enter what we thought was the restaurant..... They greeted us promptly and asked inside or outside dining. I say we are here for the big ole burger I keep hearing about.... at that she says oh thats over there and points out to the parking lot..... I say ok not a problem other than the only thing I see is the Cantina with full bar..... I say well I have my nephew with me can we sit outside she says yes........ So we start off to the cantina ! We get there and see it is an indoor out door bar......OK thats alright so I then see a sign that says please check with the hostess for seating again not a problem....... Im in the restaurant industry so don't want to step on toes and come in to the bar were 2 lovely gals are I think bar tending but seem to just be chatting with themselves...... they just stare at me no greeting no hello just a stare. So I say Hi can we sit out side and get a burger........ they just say oh the burgers are over there and point to a food cart parked out back. At this point we are clearly starting off on a bad note...... no signs no greetings no explanation how this god damn place works!!!!! So I am now here at least 10 mins into this fantastic experience and still have no explanation as to how to order, do we sit down and get waited on, or are we supposed to order then come behind the bar and get a drink ourselves or what! OK OK so I have now driven to Mollala from Beaverton for what a back ass-ward burger joint that has no customer service and or any explanation or even a greeting........ Well I get the burger and its great as you can see from the pictures, We had to get up and get our own salt and pepper ketchup and condiments basket off a table inside as both the girls just watch us.... Oh God I have to ask for some ranch wow she didn't even think they had any but hey its in the bar fridge..... So burgers arrive and we even have a great time once the staff kinda warms up...... But what the hell is this?????!!!....... another family rolls in sits down right across from us and the bartenders are Johnny on the spot to come out take a drink order then take a burger order then bring condiments to the table and even bring the food with a smile. WOW I guess if you ask how things work it sets off the staff! Over all Great Food! maybe a bit more customer service and some how explain how things work........... Not sure this place is a destination spot but it has a cute quaint atmosphere and lots of beer on tap so I guess its what works out here.

Good beer, nice outdoor patios. Really wish they had some vegetarian options and a veggie burger. Perfect spot to sit outside. Great WiFi (excellent spot to meet with your realtor to write an offer on your new home in Molalla too). Dog Friendly!

Small eating area outdoors, we usually take ours home. They are the messiest burgers around. Scrumptious!

My family loves this food cart. Their burgers are yummy and the Philly cheesesteaks are delicious!!

We've been here a few times now and I definitely agree! They operate in the evenings starting at around 7pm and go until late night. I highly recommend their Asada tacos and Tripa tacos. They chop and fry the tripe until crispy and add seasoning to give it that extra oomph. Each order of tacos comes with the fixings, like lime, radish, onions, cilantro, and salsas. There's a long table at the stand with a few seats so I recommend eating these right away, fresh off the grill. For $3-4 tacos, you can't beat this quality and freshness!

They grill them until crispy and served on top of double tortillas with grilled jalapenos, onion, and raw radish and lime. They open at about 7 pm and there is always people already waiting for them. The service is quick. There are some seats but not many, so be prepared to have it to go or eat in your car (best eaten fresh out of the grill). They play nice music. It's a very casual stand overall. Everyone that I took here said they loved the tacos.

Fast forward to today when my flight got in early and I saw they were open. Came in around 11ish when many of the food carts looked like they were just starting to prepare food. Found Bing Mi behind the Beer Garden stage. After looking at the menu, I couldn't pass up trying the roast duck. I ordered the loaded roast duck Jiang Bing with mild sauce. I paid with my card, was given a number and took a seat at the communal wooden picnic tables. When I got my food, I could see it was a solid amount. Two Jiang Bing halves. The only thing I didn't really see was the roast duck. Before I get into that though, I just want to say you can tell how much care the people who work here put into their food. If there's a line, they don't rush the process. The crepe outside is perfect and the crispy wonton pieces in the middle are the star of my Jiang Bing. Their cucumbers are fresh. You can taste the sauce. I just would have wanted a little more meat so it wasn't so much crepe and crispiness. I give them a solid 4.5 though. I couldn't finish both halves of my Jiang bing because it's filling. I suggest bringing someone who will want to share food. I may be back to try their handmade dumplings next!

And to the three of you…read moretrying to triangulate my exact location based on this review relax, it's not that serious. Let's get into it. Right off I-205 and just a short cruise up into Happy Valley, this spot feels like the food cart scene finally put on a clean shirt and got its life together. It's modern, it's polished, and it sits in a neighborhood where you don't feel like you need to keep your head on a swivel. No chaos, no nonsense just good eats and a relaxed vibe. What makes this place stand out? Options. A ridiculous amount of them. This isn't a "hope everyone agrees on tacos" situation. This is a "you get what you want, I get what I want, and we all win" kind of place. I've officially made it my mission few days left to try as many carts as humanly possible. Call it a food tour, call it a personal challenge, call it reckless ambition... I'm doing it anyway. We kicked things off at K-Pop Korean Hawaiian BBQ-because when you roll with a buddy from Hawaii, that's basically law. And let me tell you, it delivers. Bold flavors, solid portions, and that perfect fusion vibe that just works. Honestly, it set the bar high and that's saying something, because every cart here seems to bring their A-game. The setup is dialed in too. Covered seating for those rainy Oregon days, indoor space when winter decides to show up with attitude, and open-air areas when you want to sip a little wine or knock back a cold brew like a civilized adult. Surrounded by trees and mountain views, it almost tricks you into thinking you planned something outdoorsy... when really, you just came to eat. And here's the kicker it's clean. Like, noticeably clean. The carts look new, the area is well kept, and the whole place feels intentional. Not slapped together. Not gritty. This is food carting with standards. If you're local, you already know. If you're passing through, put this at the top of your list. And if you're doing a full-on food truck tour? Start here. Set the tone right. Because trust me after this, when you head back downtown and start dodging zombies and chaos... you'll miss this place real quick.

Beer and Espresso served and paid for inside. Restrooms are accessible and inside. Carts will give you a buzzer to notify you when the order is ready, so you can go walk around or find a seat while you wait. It was very busy this particular day, but no problem, all the carts seemed to be prepared for that! Just a lot of friendly faces who understood we needed to drool over all the menus before arriving somewhere. We landed on Premier Japanese Hibachi and loved all the flavor. Some of the freshest shrimp and yakisoba I have ever had. We also had the grilled shrimp and steak. TIP: don't forget to ask how you want your steak because it is made to order! The sauces on the side were perfect for dipping and sharing. Unfortunately, the portions did feel small for $18 a plate. Also, how to order water with your meal was confusing- another worker said just go inside. Eventually I saw signs that water is free with purchase or $1, but you would think it would be obvious. Overall, Premier Japanese Hibachi and everything else was a hit, 10/10, TY!

There is plenty of seating there and It looked like there was a space for live music and string lights - probably a fun spot to grab dinner in the evening. We came for lunch and ordered the chao mian with chicken (spicy) and bian bian noodles (spicy). The noodles are cooked to order and we were served quickly. The serving sizes are huge. Neither one of us could finish ours. We'll likely order one dish to split next time, and that'd still probably be more than enough. The flavor of the chao mian was a bit lackluster. It was savory with a soy sauce flavor base, but got a bit repetitive with each bite. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier. Fun noodle texture. There are also other vendors in the garden so you can pair a dessert, drink, or side with your meal while staying in the same area. Overall, a filling meal for a good price! Would come again to try their beef noodle soup.

Flavorful and delicious, Fire Foods delivers the best in Asian food here in Molalla. I haven't had their burgers yet but after reading the reviews here, I'm thinking I need to try one! In any event, with the cold grey day we are having today, a bowl of hot ramen soup was the perfect thing to send the overcast blues flying out the window. Today, I had the Veggie Ramen Soup with shrimp & egg along with a cup of jasmine flower tea. The bowl of soup was so big I had to ask for a container to take home what I couldn't eat at lunch. With big huge shrimps and a perfectly poached egg, the noodles and veggies (broccoli, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, bok choy) hit the spot. The broth was delicious with the perfect amount of spiciness - my lips were tingling with the heat! (Tip: I asked for a "1" on the spiciness chart and it was spicy. I think it might have actually been a "2" because it was spicy! I like my food spicy but if you don't, maybe ask for a "0".) Ordering is accomplished at the counter, which is on the left when you enter the front door. When I said I needed some soup for a chilly day, the man who took my order suggested the Veggie Ramen. He then asked if I wanted to add anything to it and I requested chicken, although I got those huge beautiful shrimp. (I'll be asking for those shrimp from now on!) Prices are comparable to or less than any other place these days - veggie ramen soup was $12 and the pot of tea that I got at least 3 mugfuls out of was $2.50. Add-ons to the soup like chicken, beef or shrimp are an additional couple of bucks. All decked out for the holidays, my favorite decoration was the Grinch Christmas Tree! Fun and festive! I'll be going back soon - maybe to try a burger but I love their Asian food so it might be hard to choose.
