All the toppings are free which is a nice option. The mushrooms were quite good and the burger was solid. My son had the cheeseburger basket with fries. I tasted some of his fries and they were very good. The board menu is a bit confusing. The area that describes the basket/meal deal is not as prominent as it could be. Moreover, the cashier told us that if we wanted to eat outside on their picnic tables, everything would come in a bag to go, but if we wanted our food in a basket we had to eat inside. It was a nice night and I was interested in eating outside on their tables. Why can't I take my basket outside? Are they afraid I will run off with it? I didn't press the cashier on this and just followed the rules and ate inside but it struck me as a silly rule. Overall, a minor complaint.

Hopefully it will be a while before I have to come back.

What a fabulous addition to Molalla's eating-out choices! I've been here several times before today…read moreand each time the food has been excellent. Flavorful and delicious, Fire Foods delivers the best in Asian food here in Molalla. I haven't had their burgers yet but after reading the reviews here, I'm thinking I need to try one! In any event, with the cold grey day we are having today, a bowl of hot ramen soup was the perfect thing to send the overcast blues flying out the window. Today, I had the Veggie Ramen Soup with shrimp & egg along with a cup of jasmine flower tea. The bowl of soup was so big I had to ask for a container to take home what I couldn't eat at lunch. With big huge shrimps and a perfectly poached egg, the noodles and veggies (broccoli, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, bok choy) hit the spot. The broth was delicious with the perfect amount of spiciness - my lips were tingling with the heat! (Tip: I asked for a "1" on the spiciness chart and it was spicy. I think it might have actually been a "2" because it was spicy! I like my food spicy but if you don't, maybe ask for a "0".) Ordering is accomplished at the counter, which is on the left when you enter the front door. When I said I needed some soup for a chilly day, the man who took my order suggested the Veggie Ramen. He then asked if I wanted to add anything to it and I requested chicken, although I got those huge beautiful shrimp. (I'll be asking for those shrimp from now on!) Prices are comparable to or less than any other place these days - veggie ramen soup was $12 and the pot of tea that I got at least 3 mugfuls out of was $2.50. Add-ons to the soup like chicken, beef or shrimp are an additional couple of bucks. All decked out for the holidays, my favorite decoration was the Grinch Christmas Tree! Fun and festive! I'll be going back soon - maybe to try a burger but I love their Asian food so it might be hard to choose.

As I was traveling through Woodburn Oregon, I discovered Nancy Jo's burgers and fries. Located in a very nondescript strip mall next to a dentist office, this place has a very pleasant storefront, outdoor seating, and very comfortable and inviting interior. But the real star of the show is the burgers and fries. I went with a bacon, cheeseburger and a small order of fries. I almost went with a large fries, thinking other fast food places when you order a large is barely enough to satiate your appetite. I'm glad I went small, because it was huge! The burger itself was very tasty, and you can tell that it was fresh. The lettuce and onions were delicious and you could tell that they were purchased locally and not from a plastic bag. The bun was soft and their burger sauce was excellent! Overall, this was a great experience front and back, if I am ever through this area again I will definitely make this a stop!

So we made the trip over to give them a try. The staff were very friendly and helpful while we narrowed down our choices. It's by far the fanciest potato you'll find. Be prepared to pay the price for the loaded potato toppings, the classic starts at $14 and can go up from there. It really is the equivalent of a full meal though. We chose the taco and the chili potatoes. Both were loaded with toppings and served hot. The toppings do provide a lot of flavor but if it was something I had ordered to-go and been eating at home I would have added more to it. Possibly some salt, pepper, and hot sauce to top it off. Those items might have even been offered there but since we already settled in to eat across the parking lot I didn't go back to investigate. Overall, it's a good lunch and was very filling. There are a couple of tables nearby if you want to have a seat outside to enjoy your meal. We opted to dine in our vehicle with the AC. It's totally worth giving them a try for a fanciest baked potato around.
