Our family discovered Big Burger a week or so after moving to the area and it is now a weekly go to. I'm pretty sure we've tried everything on the menu over the last five years and every item has been excellent. My husband and I often go through the drive-through just to get shakes for our date nights. The ice cream is wonderful and they are one of the few places that still sell chocolate and vanilla swirl cones. My recommendation for a first time order would be a bacon cheeseburger with everything, in a basket with onion rings, and a cherry pineapple shake. You will not be disappointed! Absolutely the best burger place in town however why this review gets one star is because of how they treat the customers inside. We ended up going inside because the line was way to long in the drive-thru and we're told that we had to wait over 20 minutes for them to take our order which they for what I can tell only take 3 orders at a time. So because I got off my lazy ass and wanted to order inside I had to wait for all the lazy ass people to order 1st........ how does it make since to put off paying customers to help people who won't get out of their cars and order? This is unexplainable and because of this I probably won't be back even though I like this place a lot. It had been way too long since I had given Big Burger another try -- probably at least 25 years. So, we put in a take-out order on a Friday night, and it was ready in 20 minutes. I ordered a double cheeseburger basket, and stuck with their standard fries. I was pleased with the burger overall, and really appreciated the toasting of the bun. The patties themselves are quite thin (but flavorful), so the double was a good choice. The only disappointment for me was the homemade sauce -- I found it unexciting, and the thin consistency made for a runny mess, and not in a good way. The fries were good and crispy, but were a bit sparse in my basket. I will definitely get Big Burger again, but may pass on the sauce next time. And I don't plan to wait another 25 years! This place has been in business since 1967 and is just a good classic burger. Shredded lettuce, juicy, dripping down your arm good. You drive through and then pull around and wait for your food. It's definitely not fast food, it's made to order, but I don't think the wait is an unreasonable. The prices are decent too! $7 for a burger & fries, $8 if you want double patty, double cheese. Milkshakes are delicious, so many flavors to choose from! Regular milkshake is 16oz, large is 20oz. Definitely don't skip out on upgrading your fries to curly fries for $1!!! As we start the second lock down, this is a good choice. The burgers are small and while plenty for me I recommend the double burger for my hungrier brothers. The fish and chips is hot and tasty. Service is friendly and prompt. Yes, it is more expensive than the Mc Donald's across the street and not as convenient. You can get a hot dog here however and I think the food is pretty good. My family took us here when we visited them on vacation and we loved it! We had to go back again before we left. Both times we went during off peak times so we didn't have long of a wait. They have lots of options on their menu so there is something to satisfy any cravings. Everything is made to order and not your fast food type of place. Their bacon cheeseburger basket is amazing! Their bacon is thick cut and colored perfectly crispy. It's was the perfect add-on to their juicy burger. It comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, their own house sauce (basically everything you could want or need on a burger). We split an order of "munchers" and it was the perfect little snack. Fried tater tots with cheese inside. These are dangerous, you can't stop at just one. They also have malt and regular milkshakes. I had a sip of their malt peanut butter and I was not a fan of it. It tasted like drinking a jar of peanut butter, and I personally don't like peanut butter that much to be drinking it out of the jar... But their vanilla milkshake takes it to another level. The milkshakes are great, rest of the food is decent. There is a wide variety of flavors and you can mix and match them. The munchers make a pretty good snack too. There is usually a wait but I'd say that it's worth it for the milkshakes. Unfortunately the last time we visited the cashier was curt with us. After we received our milkshakes (supposed to be 3 smalls and a large) we received four smalls instead. Not a problem as they were busy and it's understandable but when we brought it up to her she told us that we had ordered 4 smalls and that for her to fix it we would need to pay the $1.50 more (that we already paid for). She eventually went and made a large one but rudely slid it across the counter to us and quickly looked away.
