Huge improvement since the remodel and it looks busier than ever. This McDonald's location is focused on quick pick up and drive through. Very limited seating. I love that there are electric chargers (probably a tax benefit). The 'downside' is that they are level 2 rather than level 3, meaning they're 'slow chargers'. For a place that is for fast food, it doesn't make a ton of sense to have slow chargers? About parking, I think the placement of the two handicapped spots is awkward. The drivers would have to circle the lot or make a very awkward 3 point turn based on where the entrance is - checked the box but wasn't planned most efficiently. Inside is small, not too much seating and there are no self serve soda machines, napkin station, or condiments, all downsides in my opinion. There are two kiosks that they encourage you to use (though I used my App). Alternatively, there is one cash register open - downside is that the person behind the register also hands out food - at a busy time it might be hectic for them. Genuinely worst service I have ever got in my entire life. In the drive though they had an attitude and weren't helpful when asked questions. We ordered a 6 piece nugget, fries, white milk, and hamburger and only received the 6 piece nuggets and burger after paying for the food beforehand. Once we asked if we could get our fries and milk they said huh and went and got another worker and she said "not my issue" I have never felt this disrespected and won't be coming back any time soon read more

Finally reopened after quite a long time due to renovations. Bigger and better than the previous locations and a bit more modern than the one in Hackensack or other locations. Staff is friendlier than the one going to Ramsey. Service is slower as I guess everything is new but hey that gets a pass. Food was good and typical McDonald's. Good when you want something easy and cheap. No longer have to go to Hackensack which had slow and poor service. One bonus is that it has some of the old staff members that my brother remembers which is a plus and is closer to home in Paramus. read more

No signs or warnings stating it was closed despite being open 24 hours. We sat for 25 minutes with nothing only to realize on one was behind the counter. Very aggravating. read more

They wasted all this money on a remodel and can't get the orders correct. If you order a double they give you a single And forget about the snack wraps they didn't include them in the bag at all now three times in a row. They are notorious for taking your money and leaving out half the order. Check the bag before leaving read more

This place has really just gone to the dogs. We stopped by last week notice that there were no diced onions in our burgers, even though they are selected to be in the order. Instead of being a one off, we are the same issue with both our burgers tonight. Secondly, what is up with the new chicken nuggets?!? They are the same price as before, but now half the thickness of the nuggets that we used to get. They are now 75% breading and 25% chicken. To add insult to injury, we found a long hair embedded in our fries tonight. Disgusting. I called to speak with the manager, but nobody picked up. Alrighty, they just remodeled and reopened this "McDonald's" so most of the photos are still old, and new photos will be updated accordingly, anyways, the interior of the restaurant has ample space and plenty of seating to go around, plus two Kiosks, there are no outlets to charge phones or laptops which is understandable, the restrooms are a bit small as well, but it looks like this particular "McDonald's" is only suited for a quick bite to eat then head out and be on your way, overall, it's a nice restaurant though and I highly recommend it... read more

The owner(s) of this franchise is very greedy!!! The prices here are 25% or more higher than other locations. They are unscrupulous, especially now with the higher prices nationwide that consumers already have to pay due to inflation. I will report them to the McDonald's corporate office. My family and I went to this McDonald's location yesterday evening to grab a quick dinner and ran into a situation where the associate who came out and handed the bag was not wearing gloves during the current Covid19 pandemic. My mother from the car told the associate that he should wear gloves and he gave kind of an attitude look. We also had asked for barbecue sauce and we're told that it was in the bag, only to drive away and not have any barbecue sauce in the bag at all. I get that the workers here don't like their jobs and it's a high-stress situation during these times especially but they should still practice safe hygiene and be courteous to those purchasing food. Would not recommend going to this location not only because of the rudeness but because of sanitation concerns. read more

I was at McDonald's on 11/11/20, i went inside to order my meal and asked for a small coke without ice. The cashier was polite and in training, after paying I waited for my order, the supervisor read the drink order without stating no ice, so I stated "no ice" and the supervisor said with an attitude "now she wants no ice." She thought I didn't understand Spanish. She was totally unprofessional as a supervisor to be treating a customer in front of other employees as she has the role of "supervisor". She is the example, I certainly will not return. I gave it 2 stars only because the cashier deserves credit for his politeness. This McDonald's is okay for a meal or a break. The parking lot is a little awkward, so drive through it carefully. We had promotional coupons for extra items with breakfast orders, and they handled these fine, though I did hear one of the managers have to explain to a preparer three times about making my bagel sandwich. I've also never appreciated that they add the creamer (milk or whatever comes out of their machine) instead of letting me, because they almost always get the amount wrong. In this case the amount was zero, and I had to go back to get it added. The tables and the floors in the bathrooms need to be cleaned up a little more frequently. read more

I came here early at lunch for the BTS meal. It came out to be about $12. McDonald's isn't doing any favors with the pricing, but perhaps it's not really the fault of the franchises. McDonald's food can be hit or miss, depending on how long the it's been sitting after cooking, or if the oil used to fry should be changed out. This day, at this time, the nuggets and fries were the peak McDonald's experience. When you order, the employee asks you which sauce you'd like; don't let that give you the impression that you can't have both. Drive Thru stand still-was literally stuck in the drive thru for 30 minutes-cars behind me were leaving in disgust. No movement for 9 minutes straight-I stayed just to see who was actually running the show. When I eventually got to the window it was a bunch of young kids just messing around playing music and talking amongst themselves. No apologies, no thank you when they handed me the food. The drive thru seems to always mess up, there's bugs all over the drive thru window and inside the drive thru window, and they don't like answering your questions. They're rude more often than not and their fries are cold more often than hot. I don't know why I keep going back to this McD... I swear this place gets worse every time. Came around 11:30 PM to order drive thru. I noticed a few cars ahead of me at the drive thru stop at the window then drive away without picking up food. I came up next and no one responded at the drive thru order area. After a 3 min wait, I drove around to the front make sure it was open. I saw 5 or 6 employees all grouped together at the front chatting, some sitting/leaning on the counter, clearly having a conversation. I went inside to order instead. None of them wanted to work I guess b/c they all pointed at me and started telling each other to take the order instead of them. Eventually I believe it was the manager, who finally told an employee to help me. I mentioned that no one was at the drive thru window and the manager said I was told to wait. I was with a passenger, and we know for a fact no one said anything. Especially since we waited and called out multiple times. She must have confused me with the two other cars ahead of me who she didn't take orders from. Once my order was ready, I said thanks and I grabbed the bag of food that was plopped onto the counter as the manager glared at me. Cherry on top: cold food. I personally don't care about people being nice to me when I'm buying food. Service industry work is tough, and I don't expect anyone to pat me on the head for ordering something. While I was eating, I observed a senior citizen order his coffee and sausage McMuffin. I know this because the manager broke down his bill by yelling totals and items because he said the bill was too high. You typical McDonalds in Northern Jersey. If you plan on getting breakfast, meaning between the hours of 5-7am, add an extra 30 mins to your commute time. I have no idea how many employees are on staff but it always takes at least 10 mins to get a simple breakfast sandwich. And that's with less than 3 cars on line. I usually stop at this mcdonalds on my way home from newark after a flight. I have eaten here a bunch of times. I know mcdonalds are usually hit or miss with food quality. The food here is always really hot and does not taste like it had been under a hot lamp. I do tend to go here later in the evening, I don't know if that makes a difference. The menu here is a lot smaller than other mcdonalds. They only had 4 chicken sandwiches listed and 4 burgers listed. They had a lot of snack wraps and salads listed. The location is great it is right off of 17. They do have a drive thru and a good size parking lot so you can eat. Overall. I recommend this mcdonalds if you are on 17 there are a lot of different eating options along the way. Just remember the next mcdonalds on 17 is a bit of a drive.
