I am still surprised how well this visit went. First I was greeted by a very kind gentleman who took my order inside. Then when I got my food, sit for this one, my burger and fries were hot. THIS location? SUCKS! I never have an issue with any other location in this harbor, but this one. From the inability to understand half of what they've messed up on your order to not being able to read the simplest add on or subtraction from your meal, is unbelievable. And all they can say? The orders take forever. Drive through, walk in, or online orders, it doesn't matter. Missed items and rude management. Customer's in lobby stand waiting, trading McDonald's horror stories with other. The problem here starts at the top. The place is always busy but can't seem to handle the orders. Miss managed? I ordered thru the app to be picked up at the drive thru at 10:07am. I had to get to an interview but I still had about 30 minutes before I needed to leave. At 10:30am I still had not moved in the drive thru lane so I pulled out of the drive thru and went inside to just pick up my order. I walked up to the pickup counter and the swing manager Mayara came up and I told her I'd been in the drive thru for 30 minute and just wanted to pick up my order which I had already paid for. She looked at my receipt for half a second then walked away seemingly to grab my order but I soon realized she only looked at my receipt to make it look like she was going to help me. She prepared multiple (at least 7) other orders and gave them to other people (including people who came in after me) before she came back up to me and said "okay" and motioned me to the check out area. I told her that I had already paid. She huffed then went and started grabbing my items of which I could see her grabbing the wrong ones. When she came back to me I told her there were substitutions in my order that she didn't do (I'm pregnant so things make me sick) and which point she huffed and asked to look at the receipt again. Then she went and got my order and brought it back. I didn't leave til 10:50am (definitely going to be late now). If I hadn't already paid I would have just left to be honest. She was rude as if I was burdening her, literally only said one word to me, didn't look me in the eye a single time, and in the end after all that nonsense she gave me the wrong order. I ordered 1 sausage mcmuffin - sub bacon - add Canadian bacon (costs more), 1 sausage mcmuffin - add Canadian bacon, and 2 hash browns. We ended up with 1 sausage mcmuffin with bacon added and 1 sausage mcmuffin with no sausage. I couldn't believe it. read more

Seemed very short staffed. Staff members were nice and hardworking however. Food service for dine in took more than 40 minutes to get our food. There were at least 5 people waiting for their food for the same amount of time. There also wasn't any soap on the mens bathroom. Overall disappointing for the McDonald's brand, as we expected fast food, not slow food for this quality of food. McDonald's isn't cheap these days either. read more

Shame others have had a bad experience here. I've had a pretty standard McDonald's experience here every time I've gone. I don't think I've ever had bad food from a McDonald's, as it is almost always exactly the same. It doesn't knock my socks off, but at least it's less than 5 bucks. Very long line took about 20 minutes to finally reach the drive thru, only to be told they were sold out of beef patties for the quarter pounders. Ordered a chicken sandwich and finally after getting the food and driving away, saw I was given chicken on a bun with nothing else on it. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ** I paid extra for a special limited time release sauce. When I got to the order and asked the young guy had no idea what I was talking about. Not to mention, they never rang up my fries that I ordered at the menu board! When I asked if he could ring them up for me there, at the second window, he just looked at me and said "there's nothing he can do about it" very rudely and stared at me blankly. Absolute worst experience Ive ever had. I arrived at this location at 9:30pm at the drive through on 07/24/2021 with only 4 cars in front of me and only 1 lane open out of 2. Each vehicle took about 7 to 8 minutes to place their order with the McDonalds Rep. 30 minutes later my turn was up to place my order with the Rep it was 10:00pm and they turned everything off and closed down without noticed. I nicely requested that I wanted to buy/pay for 1 single happy meal for my little daughter for waiting in this god awful line that took forever and the Rep refused while being extremely rude about it. If this is the way McDonalds is going to treat the public, I will be sure to let the public be aware of this. The management and/or owner of this business is ruining their reputation. It's a McDonald's, so you don't expect the best service. That being said, this place messed up our order three different times. At the order box we had to correct the person twice, at the window we had to get our order fixed and then we pulled forward because it wasn't finished and the wrong order came out again. For context we ordered two grimace birthday meals with Big Macs, and they kept trying to give us one Big Mac and one 10 piece chicken nuggets. It was just strange and it only kept getting messed up from the same two people. I have never been so satisfied from a mchicken in my entire life. I ordered a mcchicken with bacon and cheese and it's simply the best thing i've ever eaten from a mcdonalds. The sandwich was very well put together, the lettuce was fresh, the bacon was crispy, and the chicken was steaming hot. Also, the lady at the drive thru was very nice! We got our order ok and got some extra cookies from one of the nice ladies with the blonde hair, but they forgot our sweet and sour sauce. So we came back and went through the drive-through to the window, and the first thing we got is this a lady with bright pink hair, undercut, weird teeth. She was bitching at us for not waiting at the order screen, then she made us wait for her to say something then when we tried to explain what we wanted she walked away and didn't give us a chance to speak. I love this McDonald's! The staff (most of them) are always friendly. The food is, well, typical McDonald's. This is one of the cleanest ones I've been to in a long time. They actually have someone who does nothing but walks around all day cleaning off tables and stocking stuff like napkins, straws, condiments and more. A nice touch, since so many McDonald's are often times out of some of those and you have to walk up to the counter and ask for them. One thing I really love about this particular McDonald's is how friendly the other customers are! It's not very often you go to a fast food place and have customers talk to you as much as they do here. It's reminds you that you're in a small town. Only complaint (not really a complaint, but more of an observation) is that this is the first McDonald's I've EVER been in where the employees are allowed to wear shorts while they work! Amazing, and certainly not very strict on their dress code. Tacky? Yes! All-in-all I love this place! It's a pleasant change from those in the big cities. And CLEAN is the magic word here. Even the restrooms are almost always spotless. Only real issue is they don't have a playland for the kids. I guess that's fine since I don't have a kid, but I feel bad for the customers that do. read more

Worst McDonald's ever...and that is saying a lot. By now I thought there was no variance between restaurants. Everything is scripted by the cooperate gods and all food is prearranged some uniform results at each restaurant. Fryers are pre-programed for ideal fry yadda yadda. But somehow at this place they managed to burn the fries and my grilled chicken sandwich tasted like chewy soggy paper. There was some dripping red coating that was unique. My review is based on several visits to this McDonald's location. On some days the service was excellent, with perfect accuracy, speed and friendliness. On other days I have experienced some of the rudest service ever in a fast food establishment. The food has gone from almost inedible to average. If you are really craving McDonald's while in Aberdeen...the location inside of Walmart seems to have better service and food on a consistent basis. read more

More training is needed for employees at this location. On a trip home from the beach we hit this drive thru for a quick lunch so we could stay in the car. The person taking our order missed a combo so we had that added in. Got to the window and most of our drinks were as ordered and the one that was messed up was fine drinking what they gave him instead. There was quite a bit of confusion at the pickup window. I regret now not having our driver pull over to check that the order was correct ..but if we were parking the car it would have been easier to go in vs the drive thru in the first place! In the end once the food was divvied up we were missing all the food from one combo...we were on the bridge at this point and couldn't just turn around. One person's chicken sandwich was missing condiments. It sounds like I'm being nitpicky but honestly it was a simple order as 3 of combos being exactly the same and none of those nor the rest of the order had any special instructions. I think we will be avoiding this location in the future and planning ahead to eat before leaving the ocean. read more
