She told me I couldn't have a regular glass of water with ice. I had to buy it in a bottle with their name printed on the label. It felt like a way to wring yet more money out of their customers. I much prefer generosity to stinginess. It just put me off from the beginning. The cod was fine. But unlike most restaurants when you get fish & chips, there was no coleslaw. All that was on my plate was part of a limp lettuce leaf for a poor excuse of a garnish. We had 2 veggie wraps and a fish sandwich in our party as well. Everybody liked their food well enough. My daughter really liked her fish sandwich. I eat out a lot and Bennett's cutting corners and lack of generosity is unlike the vast majority of restaurants I've been to. I have no desire to return.
