The ambiance here was awesome. This is a huge (6 foot at least) Guinness pin that opens and is the door to the patio!

Our room in Ocean Shores wasn't ready, so our hotel recommended Galway Bay as a place to get a bite to eat while we waited. The most important feature we were looking for was "dog friendly," since we had nowhere to leave out dog, so this fit the bill. The ambiance was pretty cool. It had a very authentic Irish pub feeling. There's a family friendly eating area and a 21+ bar area. In the corner of the bar, there's a huge life-like cylindrical Guinness pint that is a door to the outdoor patio, which is the dog friendly area. To reach the dog friendly area, you had to walk through the restaurant. I was so proud that my very excitable pup did not bark as we rushed her through! The dog friendly area is fully enclosed and has some comfortable outdoor seating and even a koi pond. The seats were a bit dusty (I get it, they're outside), but we sat anyway. When another group came in, a waiter wiped off their seats for them, so I'm not sure if you have to ask for that, or how to get that service. I'm ok roughing it. The food was pretty good. I liked my husband's sausage roll. My seafood chowder was just ok, I've had better. The colcannon (mashed potatoes with cabbage) was delicious. My husband and I disagreed on the soda bread - he thought it needed more of that "soda" taste, I thought it was great because I don't really like that baking soda taste. I liked that they offered Guinness Zero and other nonalcoholic beers. The last thing is that the service was alright, but weird. The young man who led us through the restaurant to the patio was great, he even brought out a bowl of water for our pup. We had to go into the bar to order and I felt like I was inconveniencing the bartender by wanting to order food. She kept me waiting a while. Then when I tried to order for both my husband and me, she told me we would have to come in separately to order because it was a 21+ area so she needed to see each of us. Which might make sense except I was ordering one NA beer and one soda. I tried to explain that I wasn't ordering two alcoholic drinks but she said, no, it's not about the alcohol, it's about the patio being 21+. I'm pretty well versed in the alcohol laws of the State of Washington and I don't understand what that was about, but, hey, when in Rome, I guess. Or, should I say, when in Ireland?

Saw the billboards driving into town and decided to check it out. So glad I did. Corn beef egg rolls are chefs kiss. Flavorful, light, crispy. Fish and chips was spot on, not too heavily battered. The building is fairly large and encompasses. What looks like used to be a small U shape strip mall. Wide ranging gift shop on one side. Cigar humidor, and lounge in one area. outdoor patio, main dining room. Pool table in another. Lots to explore.

Had an absolutely lovely time here. Came on 7/27 around 6pm. We were seated quickly and told that food might take awhile due to low staff. Had no issue with this as we were listening to a someone play the piano. The whole environment felt so friendly and welcoming, wish I was from around there and could call that my local pub! Irish mule was $10 and strong, food was tasty! My boyfriend is from England and approves of the sausage roll. I ordered a burger and it was great! We were told the dessert options and got the slice of chocolate cake. SO DELICIOUS! I absolutely recommend stopping by here if you are in the area or passing through. Can't wait to stop by again one day!

    Pastrami Sandwich

The pastrami sandwich was made on fresh baked Irish Soda Bread. The sandwich comes with sauerkraut and very spicy horseradish. The crisps were warm, just needed salt. The clam chowder was loaded with clams

Chops, fresh mashed, veggies hit the spot

If you're hankering for Good Irish Faire this is where you go. The menu is vast, each exceptional Irish dishes truly fits-the-bill. The restaurant, pub, bar, entertainment venue, shop and lounge are all skillfully appointed without being either quitch or crazy cluttered. A must go if wishing to see real "football". The bars top the list of must visit and once there you will return and return. The staff are the best, listen, help, know the food intimately servers having the foresight to question choice and directing your palette so order just what you want.

Such a cool Irish Pub in this beach village. Live music every weekend. T-shirts on the ceiling dedicated to fire and police, maybe a few ND football. The Guinness is cold in a Guinness glass. So nice! See my YouTube channel Coolest Life.

Service animals I suppose but I am sure it can't deal with pets.

This is very good news!! * Location: Perfect location on the north end of the tourist retail area on Point Brown, across the street from the ice cream shop & go karts. * Interior/decor - Neat, clean, bright. Wrap around bar seating, counters at the window, a few tables, two dart boards, jukebox and ATM. * Service - We were greeted when we walked in, found three seats at the bar (all tables were full). The person behind the bar gave us menus, asked for our drink orders and reminded it was cash only. * Food - limited menu (see photos). We had burgers w/chips (thick cut curly fries). Really good, fairly priced. I had the Harbor Bar + cheese & bacon, other two peeps had the mushroom burger. 5/5 napkins all around. * Drink - 4 beers on tap. Large selection of canned beers under ice. * Price - Fair & reasonable. $14 for bacon cheese burger + fries, $6'ish for a pint of beer. Cash only. There's an ATM on premise. Ocean Shores needed a place like this. Good food, fair prices (lower than average I think). Zero disrespect to the other burger & beer places in town. More options = more business = more visitors = WIN! The owners are transplants who had a business near Astoria, OR. They saw an opportunity here in Ocean Shores and thank goodness for that! The lone downside is they're cash only. But if you read this review then you know it's cash only and won't be surprised.

I was staying at the Polynesian resort so it was super convenient that I was able to just walk here. I ordered breakfast to go since I was planning on heading out before the restaurant opened for breakfast. I appreciate that they accommodated my slightly complex order. The crab and spinach benedict looked good and tasted good. The hash browns were crispy but a bit under seasoned. The eggs were perfect and had runny yolk after I bursted them. This crab/spinach/egg combo works very well. The crab tastes very good and the spinach added a good textural component. The hollandaise sauce looks a bit funny (maybe it split?) but still tastes good. I like the benedict a lot but wish it had more crab. Service wise, the only hiccups that I experienced were that I asked for ketchup but it never arrived and I was too lazy to get up to ask again. They also ran out of to-go coffee cups so they took it off my bill. Overall I had a good experience and really enjoyed the benedict.
