Another great food joint in Aberdeen. Stopped here to pick up some quick bites for our drive back to Bothell. Great ambiance with some music going on. Looked like a happening place. The staffs were fantastic - very friendly and great service. We stopped for some fries/onion rings; but ended up picking up their special burger basket, Clam strip basket, Vanilla and a Strawberry milkshake. Loved the burger and the baskets. Was trying the clam strip for the first time - loved it! Shakes are damn good to go with the burger and fries. They do have a drive thru. Also ample parking, conveniently accessible. Great place. Bad experience. My mom and I went to Lighthouse Drive-Thru for dinner tonight. She ordered what was supposed to be a turkey club, and I ordered a double anchor with cheese and a side of fries. When our food came out, my mom's sandwich was not a turkey club, and the hoagie roll was extremely hard. We spent $40 for not so good food, and bad service. From the moment we ordered to the time we received our food, the woman at the front counter (wearing a pink Grays Harbor Raceway sweatshirt) was noticeably disrespectful. When my mom asked a simple question about the prawns, she received a rude and dismissive response. While we were eating, the employee continued to give my mom uncomfortable looks. We ended up eating a small portion of the fries, packing up the rest of our food, and leaving. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but that does not justify poor customer service or taking frustration out on customers. What ever happened to customer service?? Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning to Lighthouse. read more

Nice place. We were traveling home, we were hangry. In our party there were 3 kids and 3 adults we all wanted different things and this place fit the bill. We all ordered a milk shake they were the best. Flavor of the month was watermelon, impressive taste of course you have to try it. We also had Oreo, raspberry and vanilla. Food was so great I had to write the review before finishing my food! This is the only place in Washington I've found so far reminding me of my hometown Nazareth, PA. The staff here, 100/10. The whole restaurant was clean and pristine and very relaxing! Back to the important stuff, the burger is immaculate and would definitely come back and the "fry sauce" was DELICIOUS. THE BIG: No lighthouse around, however good food and quaint atmosphere. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with a couple of buddies after camping out on the beaches of the Olympic Peninsula. Apparently Aberdeen is also where Kurt Cobain was raised :0. You have to order at the front and then the waiter brings out the food for you if you decide to dine in. They have a drive-thru, but it looked like no one was tending to it. I got the fish and chips with beer battered fries, you had the choice of either beer battered or regular. It came with a lemon and delicious tartar sauce. The fish came in a fish stick form, which I immediately thought frozen. It might've but they fried it very well and it tasted pretty good. They have this pink sauce, which I originally thought was thousand island, but looking back, I think it was ketchup and mayo mixed together. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, the damage done was $12.12 for the fish and chips. The fish, even though it looked like it was just thawed, was really good and the beer battered fries were amazing. read more

The good: service was great, fries were perfect and I love a good old fashioned fry sauce. It is like a Puerto Rican MayoKetchup but instead of a hint of garlic it has a hint of BBQ or possibly Worcestershire. The not so good, I didn't like the burger sauce much and the onion was very strong. Even after It was removed it was ever present and I like onions on my burgers! Between the onion and the sauce the beef had a hard time making its flavor come thru. A double burger would cut thru I am sure. Lastly, it only had the drive thru open and the menu doesn't let you know what your getting on a burger and with cars behind me I wasn't going to ask about every option. Fish in fish & chips was odd shape, no not fish sticks, better than that... Good cod, crisp exterior.. . Fish and Chips but the beer battered fries were amazing! We were driving home from Quinault to Seattle and were in need of food and came across this spot. We got in right before a rush! It was Sunday around lunch time, and it was hoppin'! Looked like a little league team was enjoying a late lunch too! We ordered: - Chicken Sandwich (more of a chicken pesto, it was delish per the person who ordered it) - regular cheeseburger with onion rings - double bacon burger with garlic fries - oreo shakes - corn dog We were starving and this place hit the spot. Their onion rings and French fries were perfect! Extra brownie points for having corn dogs on the menu. Those are my fave lol. I am a huge sauce person, and their house dressing they served with everything we ordered was on point! My cheeseburger was ok, thought it come with more than just lettuce. Came here passing through town on our way home from camping and boy did this place hit the spot! My husband and son enjoyed the regular burgers with beer battered fries and I enjoyed the warm turkey sandwich on wheat bread with onion rings. This place exceeded our expectations. Also, the two women working the drive thru were super sweet and even brought our food out to us. They said they were understaffed for the day, but it didn't show. They were working fast and friendly. I like it for its drive-thru/in aspect but the food suffers considerably on the drive home and I live maybe 6 or so minutes away. The clam strip breading was a little mushy and didn't hold to the clam well, though the clam portion was good for the price, I think. The regular fries are probably not worth saving yourself the dollar. I will probably pay more for the beer battered fries when I go again. I always like to try a place a couple of times to see what's hit or miss... The classic fried fish was very good, and did hold up to travel! It was the best part of the meal. They give you enough tartar sauce which can be an issue at some places. Will try non-seafood next time and see how that goes. read more

Stopped here for a bite to eat after a day at the beach. A little worried after reading some bad reviews, but decided to give it try. We ordered the Big Anchor with Cheese and I thought it was GREAT! The meat was nice and juicy, the cheese was great and I loved the sauce. My daughter had the BLT and the bacon was nice and crispy. The beer battered fried were AMAZING! I don't usually like thick cut fries, but with the addition of the batter these were cooked to perfection and super yummy. I loved that they came with a cup of sauce - without even asking. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was because it did take a bit long to get our food. Though, when I saw the HUGE order by the car ahead of us...I can give them some grace. The only other question was why it only had 1 $ ...I think prices have gone up. I would definitely stop here again! Especially for the beer battered fries. read more

We shared a 4-piece, which is more like very breaded long fish sticks. It was just enough but probably on a day when we have bigger appetites we would each want our own. I have read some of the reviews on the fish and chips. A five star rating? Not our experience! What was served to my wife was four previously frozen very slightly oversized fish sticks. She is a diabetic so she ordered the salad. The salad was some lettuce with a tomato and some black beans. Definitely not worth what we paid. We would have done better with "Gorton's" fish sticks! I had the 9 piece shrimp and chips. It did not look anything like the photos. There obviously a smallish frozen shrimp product. However, they were better than my wife's fish. The beer battered fries? None of them were the size to eat with my fingers and safely dip in the fry sauce.. However, I did eat some and shared the larger ones with my wife. Their famous clam chowder? My bowl was only warm, not hot. It lacked flavor to say the least. Some salt and pepper did help a little bit. This place was actually recommended to us for their burgers. We were not in the mood for burgers, so tried the sea food. For seafood we will go somewhere else like the Breakwater. We will give this place a chance again and try the burgers instead. We just had the best fried food lunch of our lives! We came from Westport to go thrifting at the Goodwill, scored big, got hungry and did NOT want fast food. We wanted local, fresh and tasty, with fish and chips. Winning on all counts! I had classic fish and chips with the side salad AND fries, kids had the Lighthouse Special burger with the regular fries and the crispy chicken sandwich with regular fries. The regular fries are crinkle which is our favorite, and they did not disappoint. The fish was not batter dipped but was encrusted and fried and they were perfectly cooked pieces and easy to dip and didn't fall apart and weren't greasy. We all got fry sauce which was also perfect. If I had one critique it's that the tartar sauce tasted too much like plane Mayo, but it was fine. The side salad was really green! Chopped fresh green leaf lettuce, shredded mozzarella, black beans, tomatoes and I got it with ranch. Perfect side salad. I would have taken a pic but we ate it all up. We will be back! read more

My husband got the fish & chips here - the fish looks (& tastes!!) like previously frozen fish sticks. Bland, mealy, unseasoned. The French fries also appear to have come from the freezer section at your local grocery store. Only a few of the fries had seasoning that I could see. The clam "strips" should be called "clam bits," because they were so minuscule. You'll want to add lots of ketchup, tartar, cocktail, etc so that you can't taste the fish. We won't return. read more

Very good fish and chips. I almost always without fail get the beyond burger cooked medium well. 10/10 best way I've had a meat alternative burger.
