Food: almost the entire menu is fried. Ordered from the counter the shrimp basket with regular fries and the fried clam strips. Both were perfectly breaded and fried. The shrimp were pretty big and came with a smooth horseradish forward cocktail sauce that had a mild kick to it. Would definitely order both items again. Service: expect counter service. Our cashier was delightful and helpful. She made me feel very welcome and brought our food to us when it was ready. Ambiance: it sits in a well loved and cared for building with a recently resurfaced parking lot. You can tell the owner loves the place with carefully matched booths and wall colors. Typical general feel for a $$ fish fry of this caliber. Overall I would definitely recommend and come back. If you live in or are passing thru Aberdeen it's a great lunch spot. read more

So I stopped here with my family but was not impressed by the quality of the food at all nor was it all that fresh. Food ended up being extremely salty for some reason but bland. Even the fries didn't have much flavor. Service ended up going from average to turning slightly aggressive due to my dad telling them it was salty. Place is kind of small but out of 97 reviews it had a 4 star rating and I figured get something you can't get at home. So we dropped in. While in line deciding what to get the lady behind the counter kept goi back and forth from the ice cream shake machine. We asked and she said that was one of their most popular menu items. So we got fish and chips and a shake. Everything came out fast and hot. She was right the shakes were one of the best I've ever had. Fish and fries were hot and perfectly cooked. We even got their clam chowder that they make in house and it was creamy and delicious. If I'm ever in Aberdeen again I'm coming back for sure. read more

Been here a few times. We really like the food at 1st. Hot, fresh, excellent service but things have really gone downhill lately. The last time we were in we noticed that they changed and they upsell the Beer Battered Fries. We had no idea that the Beer Battered Fries and Onion Rings cost extra when you order a basket meal. They offer you the beer battered or regular Fries don't tell you that it will cost you extra. I notice our bill was rather large so I asked about it. I noticed a little line on the menu that says Beer Batter Fries $1.00 extra but this is not on the drive thru menu it is only inside the restaurant. If they are going to offer an up-sale item, they should at least be honest & up front about it. The kids running this burger place in the evening on a Friday night were too loud conversing for our liking as we sat there to have our meal. There were also other Teenagers hanging around the front counter visiting with the Employees. not very professional. Please be upfront with your customers about the up-sale items. Stopped here on our way to Ocean Shores and well worth the visit. My husband had fish and chips. Tasted great and five pieces of fish. We tried the beer battered fries. Worth the extra change. I am in chemo right now so I taste very little but they were very helpful in fixing me a bun less burger that was satisfying. Berry shake? Not so much. read more

I totally love this place! Absolute BEST FISH of any fish & chips I've ever had in Aberdeen or Hoquiam (Humdinger is a close second), and the staff are always super friendly (just like Humdinger). I'm not a huge fan of their beer-battered fries (or anyone's), but I love their crinkle-cut fries! Yes, Lighthouse rocks! If you've never been here, you're in for a surprise! I truly believe you'll like their food and service. They have a nice selection and some awesome specials that sell out fast (so get there early in the day). The decor is very pleasing and the atmosphere is always quiet, unlike some fast food places where you have to put up with loud yelling employees or constant timers beeping. And hey, they even have free wi-fi here, so you can check your e-mail while you enjoy your meal. Doesn't get much better than this! If anyone ever says someone here was unfriendly or rude, I'd find it very hard to believe. You simply won't find very many restaurant employees this friendly and caring! My only "complaint" (if you want to call it that) is that they have such a limited selection for seafood in a seafood-eating town. Yep, only ONE fish & chips offering on their menu. Oh sure, you can get beer-battered fries for a buck more, but otherwise it's still the same fish & chips. I'd like to see them offer combo plates or maybe fish & shrimp or fish & something besides fries. But still, Lighthouse does have the best fish & chips I've had anywhere in Grays Harbor County along with about the friendliest staff you'll find anywhere! read more

I love love love the food there, everyone is so friendly and I will always be a customer, but with the current pandemic, even Taco Bell is giving you food on a tray through the drive thru including wearing gloves and a mask. When I went here, no gloves, no mask when bringing food to my car. You should treat people as though you're sick and take the proper precautions. I'm someone with an autoimmune disease and I can say I greatly appreciate other drive thru's and the precautions they take. It's nothing to take lightly. That's my only complaint. read more

Stopped to try something new on our way back from the beach. Very disappointed we spent so much money on undercooked chicken. It was cold inside and tasted like it was fried in the fish oil. The one redeeming factor was the employees were very courteous. Next time though, we will just hit the Wendy's up the street. read more

The term 'drive-in' for most folks suggests roller skates and doorside service. This is NOT a drive-in. Also the place was a little dirty feeling. Friendly faces when we first walked in was the beginning of our 5 star experience. We both ordered Bacon Cheese Burgers but hubby had regular fries and I got onion rings. My raspberry shake was delicious! Our food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. We both enjoyed our meals very much. It was an older building but very clean. Like other reviews say, this is a solid burger joint. Veggie burger and their special burger were great as were the fries. No basil fries or corned beef as listed in other people's reviews though. Cool lighthouse mural inside too. Super glad we stopped! Lots of locals. read more

This place is ok. The prices are a little on the high side for what you get. Not that one should expect much from a local drive in, but I would have been much happier if they hadn't messed up my order and caused me to have to drive all the way back to pick up my drinks from a take-out order. Tip: When the customer asks you if that bag has the drinks in it, and you didn't think they ordered drinks... Don't say "yes". You KNOW that bag doesn't have the drinks in it, and NOW YOU KNOW they thought they were getting drinks. I did order drinks, and I paid for them. My husband and I went out for a little lunch date. We both had the prawns, I had salad with a side of fries, he had the fries. The lady at the cash register was nice. When we got the food i was not so impressed. The side salad actually had these nasty flavored black beans. The batter on the prawns tasted horrible, the dressing on the salad was not restaurant quality, it tasted like the cheap generic ranch you get at the store, the only good thing was the fries with Fry sauce. Sadly however fries where not worth almost forty dollars. The food was major over priced. Its like they are trying to be a classy restaurant by hiking up the prices, but the food and decor is definitely fast food quality. I do hope that if you try this place you choose carefully and bring extra money. read more
