Are we stopped for lunch. Husband had the burger he said it was very good I loved their cornbread fish and chips so tender you had to definitely make sure to have a fork. Succotash was very tasty but the start of the show was the chicken wings. The ginger soy wings were fantastic. I could have eaten a dozen of those so easily. As lifelong visitors to Ocean Shores, we will definitely be back again. Oh, as a bonus they serve alcohol! The owner was super friendly and we loved the new atmosphere. While staying nearby we did a search for dog friendly restaurants. The Garage was among the results, so we thought we'd give it a try. We were very happy that we did! The food was good, but the service was even better! Despite being the only ones on the patio with our dog, we were not forgotten, and were treated so well by the friendly young lady behind the bar. Friendly and helpful staff and a place for us to sit outside on a beautiful day with dogs. I ordered the Alfredo Cavatappi with chicken and my husband order the fish and chips. We stayed here longer than planned because the food and drinks were so good! I could not finish the pasta. The waitress told us later she always splits it with her BF because it's so much! We only left because there was three other dogs and our granddog is very reactive to other dogs. I will most definitely be coming back here again!! read more

The food was meh!. There were 4 of us. Two were ok with their meal and two totally dissatisfied. The wait person came by and asked how the meal was, one of the two dissatisfied patrons spoke up... To be fair, everyone at the table tasted this one dish. All agreed it was horrible. In the end there was no attempt to right the wrong. No refund or even half off the one meal. We are not a group that looks like we are trying to get a meal for free. Unfortunately we will not be back. After reading a few reviews, I understand the importance of date and time. 3/21/26, 1:30pm. Pretty solid restaurant in Ocean Shores. I remember when they were building it when I first moved to the region and the building was an old ugly red. They finished and opened in September but I did not finally get out and try the place until today when I took my mother for her birthday. The restaurant does not have the best parking situation but there is a decent amount of parking all around the area if needed. The restaurant is a little on the small side, strikes more as a bar before a restaurant especially as the bar is front and center. I found it pretty cool how they use glass garage doors along the side of the building and I think there were 3 total. I can see how this really opens it up for the night scene and to the patio area and it brought back memories of an upscale bar and grill I worked the kitchen at in California many years ago. There is not a ton of seating but for the space they have several small tables plus the outside area if its not too chilly outside. They also have a wall mounted smart jukebox that allows you to download an app and play music. I did not test this or check if it cost. Now for the food, we both opted to buy a cup of the clam chowder to try. While this was not the best clam chowder I have had.... it is one of the best for Washington, im also not a fan of how many other restaurants out there do the slab of melted butter on top so I was happy to see The Garage does not do that. I liked that the clam chowder had a good amount of pepper spice to it. I do wish it had more clam meat and for it to be just a little thicker. I worked on the wharf in San Francisco, I got spoiled by their chowder. The chowder also comes with 3 pieces of toasted baguette that had a nice flavor to it and I wish I had more of that for the chowder. My mother decided to try the fish and chips. They use cod and lightly bread them in a corn meal, they are nice and light and not too heavy on the fried like many places. My mother raved about the fish the entire time and even into the evening and said she would eat it again and that it was so flaky. I did not try their slaw but she liked it. I decided to try the chicken parm sandwich. I liked the bun and I liked the way it was toasted. Overall it had a decent flavor but to me it was pretty generic when it came to the seasoning and the sauce. it was good, I just do not think it lived to its price. The service was pretty decent, the server is very friendly and the place was very clean looking. I find the prices to be a bit high for some things, a can soda for example is $3. I do not drink so I cannot tell you how decent the drinks are but they do have a full bar, the prices are a bit high too looking at the menu. I do wish they would have a website and also list their menu along with daily specials online. I would be willing to come back to try some of the specials. Only a couple of restaurants so far in Ocean Shores I will even consider going back to again. read more

It was a picture-perfect day in Ocean Shores for Memorial Day weekend, and I was looking forward to a nice meal. I ordered the Garage Burger and an oyster shooter. After a long wait, the oysters finally arrived, but unfortunately, they didn't taste as fresh as I'd hoped and had a noticeable aftertaste. When it came time to check on my main order, I received my receipt from a different staff member--a young man who seemed in a hurry and left before I could ask about my burger. After another 10 or 15 minutes, my original server returned. When I inquired about my burger, she didn't seem surprised and simply asked if I had ordered it. At that point, I decided to pay my bill and leave, feeling disappointed by the experience. I truly hope this feedback helps improve service for future guests, as Ocean Shores is such a wonderful place to live. read more

This restaurant is fairly new. We waited a few weeks to come in and visit. We meet up with friends for some drinks/dinner and stopped in. Location is cozy. It has a few large TVs around and speaker music located outside. They had a nice outdoor seating area as well. The food was fresh and tasty. The adult drinks were delicious. The server's we kind and came around several times to make sure we were all good. That is such a great feeling. Restrooms were clean. Would recommend and will be back for sure. I wouldn't say the experience was good or bad, but there were some things that turned me off. The food was good, but for the price, I expected bigger portions. I ordered a vodka red bull and they gave me the whole can of red bull. I hate when places do this. I didn't say I wanted the whole can, but now you get to charge me $5 for a tiny can of red bull and another $6 for a shot of well vodka. Not likely to come back. read more

This was our first time in here as visitors to the area. The place is quite friendly and has a great neighborhood vibe. The bartender was very polite and attentive as were the other patrons. The drink menu is fine and prices are in line with current prices. The food choices were not bad. A little expensive for the portion size and quality. Sorry I didn't take any pictures of our dishes, but the food was good. I had the pork sliders and curly fries and my husband had the burger. We both enjoyed our lunch. The ambiance was nice. They had MLB on without sound. The seating arrangement was nicely spaced out. The was outdoor seating. This place is dog friendly. The service needs to be worked on. We waited about 10 minutes before they even acknowledge. Then about a good 5-10 minutes before we got menus and drink order. The girls were too busy chatting it up with folks at the bar. We waited awhile to place an order and even longer for the food to come out. Once the food came out the girls were gone. It was hard to get a ticket, could have left without paying, that's how important the people were at the bar. I politely asked for the door to be shut until we left as I have a hearing disability and wear hearing aids. The music was so loud it was causing pain to my hearing. My wife and our little Pug puppy ate outside on their covered deck on January 1st this year. The server brought us blankets, fired up the over-head heater and brought our dog a fresh water bowl. She could not have been a better server and she deserves a pay increase. Their clam chowder lived up to the earlier reviews and was a 9 out of 10. (My wife's chowder is the only 10 I have ever had.) There are 4 small square tables for the area inside the building in the area away from the direct bar. Too cold to sit outside. When you walk a distance to get dinner, you expect the menus posted in photos to be accurate. Service seemed okay. Service is personal and attentive. Seafood selections include a yellowfin poke on seared sticky rice, baked oysters Rockefeller, and a rotating grilled fish.
