Blue cheese burger with side salad
    Cynthia T.

Just as good as the last time. We ordered the cheeseburger with blue cheese and a side salad and the steak sandwich. Love that it came with grated horseradish! Service continues to be friendly and attentive. And the vibe is still as cool.

Are we stopped for lunch. Husband had the burger he said it was very good I loved their cornbread fish and chips so tender you had to definitely make sure to have a fork. Succotash was very tasty but the start of the show was the chicken wings. The ginger soy wings were fantastic. I could have eaten a dozen of those so easily. As lifelong visitors to Ocean Shores, we will definitely be back again. Oh, as a bonus they serve alcohol! The owner was super friendly and we loved the new atmosphere. Definitely seems like your friendly local bar and a great place to hang out on your trip to the beach.

I would say a solid 3.5 stars on our meal. The best thing we had was by far the burger - it was delicious. The chicken pita was okay, nothing spectacular. The ahi crispy rice was not good. Under seasoned, hard/bland rice - would absolutely skip that. Service wasn't great, but it was okay. Bathrooms were super clean.

Friendly and helpful staff and a place for us to sit outside on a beautiful day with dogs. I ordered the Alfredo Cavatappi with chicken and my husband order the fish and chips. We stayed here longer than planned because the food and drinks were so good! I could not finish the pasta. The waitress told us later she always splits it with her BF because it's so much! We only left because there was three other dogs and our granddog is very reactive to other dogs. I will most definitely be coming back here again!!

Great outdoor area and dogs are welcome. Delicious cod sliders on the happy hour menu. Great service, delish food!!

Outdoor area and dog friendly! We went for happy hour and had delicious cod sliders and tuna tostados. Both were so good. Service was great and food was worth a visit!

Pretty solid restaurant in Ocean Shores. I remember when they were building it when I first moved to the region and the building was an old ugly red. They finished and opened in September but I did not finally get out and try the place until today when I took my mother for her birthday. The restaurant does not have the best parking situation but there is a decent amount of parking all around the area if needed. The restaurant is a little on the small side, strikes more as a bar before a restaurant especially as the bar is front and center. I found it pretty cool how they use glass garage doors along the side of the building and I think there were 3 total. I can see how this really opens it up for the night scene and to the patio area and it brought back memories of an upscale bar and grill I worked the kitchen at in California many years ago. There is not a ton of seating but for the space they have several small tables plus the outside area if its not too chilly outside. They also have a wall mounted smart jukebox that allows you to download an app and play music. I did not test this or check if it cost. Now for the food, we both opted to buy a cup of the clam chowder to try. While this was not the best clam chowder I have had.... it is one of the best for Washington, im also not a fan of how many other restaurants out there do the slab of melted butter on top so I was happy to see The Garage does not do that. I liked that the clam chowder had a good amount of pepper spice to it. I do wish it had more clam meat and for it to be just a little thicker. I worked on the wharf in San Francisco, I got spoiled by their chowder. The chowder also comes with 3 pieces of toasted baguette that had a nice flavor to it and I wish I had more of that for the chowder. My mother decided to try the fish and chips. They use cod and lightly bread them in a corn meal, they are nice and light and not too heavy on the fried like many places. My mother raved about the fish the entire time and even into the evening and said she would eat it again and that it was so flaky. I did not try their slaw but she liked it. I decided to try the chicken parm sandwich. I liked the bun and I liked the way it was toasted. Overall it had a decent flavor but to me it was pretty generic when it came to the seasoning and the sauce. it was good, I just do not think it lived to its price. The service was pretty decent, the server is very friendly and the place was very clean looking. I find the prices to be a bit high for some things, a can soda for example is $3. I do not drink so I cannot tell you how decent the drinks are but they do have a full bar, the prices are a bit high too looking at the menu. I do wish they would have a website and also list their menu along with daily specials online. I would be willing to come back to try some of the specials. Only a couple of restaurants so far in Ocean Shores I will even consider going back to again.

    Oyster shoots
    POOBATHY M.

It was a picture-perfect day in Ocean Shores for Memorial Day weekend, and I was looking forward to a nice meal. I ordered the Garage Burger and an oyster shooter. After a long wait, the oysters finally arrived, but unfortunately, they didn't taste as fresh as I'd hoped and had a noticeable aftertaste. When it came time to check on my main order, I received my receipt from a different staff member--a young man who seemed in a hurry and left before I could ask about my burger. After another 10 or 15 minutes, my original server returned. When I inquired about my burger, she didn't seem surprised and simply asked if I had ordered it. At that point, I decided to pay my bill and leave, feeling disappointed by the experience. I truly hope this feedback helps improve service for future guests, as Ocean Shores is such a wonderful place to live.

This restaurant is fairly new. We waited a few weeks to come in and visit. We meet up with friends for some drinks/dinner and stopped in. Location is cozy. It has a few large TVs around and speaker music located outside. They had a nice outdoor seating area as well. The food was fresh and tasty. The adult drinks were delicious. The server's we kind and came around several times to make sure we were all good. That is such a great feeling. Restrooms were clean. Would recommend and will be back for sure. Things to know: Parking is in the back. If area is full just a few steps behind the skate park has addtional parking.

This was our first time in here as visitors to the area. The place is quite friendly and has a great neighborhood vibe. The bartender was very polite and attentive as were the other patrons. The drink menu is fine and prices are in line with current prices. The food choices were not bad. A little expensive for the portion size and quality. The food is fine if its the last place in town open and you are hungry. We won't be driving back just for the food. It just wasn't that good and the portions are small.

This is very good news!! * Location: Perfect location on the north end of the tourist retail area on Point Brown, across the street from the ice cream shop & go karts. * Interior/decor - Neat, clean, bright. Wrap around bar seating, counters at the window, a few tables, two dart boards, jukebox and ATM. * Service - We were greeted when we walked in, found three seats at the bar (all tables were full). The person behind the bar gave us menus, asked for our drink orders and reminded it was cash only. * Food - limited menu (see photos). We had burgers w/chips (thick cut curly fries). Really good, fairly priced. I had the Harbor Bar + cheese & bacon, other two peeps had the mushroom burger. 5/5 napkins all around. * Drink - 4 beers on tap. Large selection of canned beers under ice. * Price - Fair & reasonable. $14 for bacon cheese burger + fries, $6'ish for a pint of beer. Cash only. There's an ATM on premise. Ocean Shores needed a place like this. Good food, fair prices (lower than average I think). Zero disrespect to the other burger & beer places in town. More options = more business = more visitors = WIN! The owners are transplants who had a business near Astoria, OR. They saw an opportunity here in Ocean Shores and thank goodness for that! The lone downside is they're cash only. But if you read this review then you know it's cash only and won't be surprised.

I was staying at the Polynesian resort so it was super convenient that I was able to just walk here. I ordered breakfast to go since I was planning on heading out before the restaurant opened for breakfast. I appreciate that they accommodated my slightly complex order. The crab and spinach benedict looked good and tasted good. The hash browns were crispy but a bit under seasoned. The eggs were perfect and had runny yolk after I bursted them. This crab/spinach/egg combo works very well. The crab tastes very good and the spinach added a good textural component. The hollandaise sauce looks a bit funny (maybe it split?) but still tastes good. I like the benedict a lot but wish it had more crab. Service wise, the only hiccups that I experienced were that I asked for ketchup but it never arrived and I was too lazy to get up to ask again. They also ran out of to-go coffee cups so they took it off my bill. Overall I had a good experience and really enjoyed the benedict.

I have traveled across the nation and spent time in countless queer spaces from coast to coast, yet Xanadu stands in a league of its own. Imagine a world where the staff and the patrons exist in a state of authentic joy. There is no drama in sight. There are no pretenses.
