This was our first visit to the Burger Den. The workers were lovely, but the food was not. My husband had a double patty burger, I had the garlic chicken sandwich. My husband's burger was dry and overcooked, they don't ask how you like it cooked. My sandwich was supposed to be garlic chicken breast, but it was definitely pieces of over marinated chicken thigh with cheese that never melted . I originally asked for the sauce on the side, but I was assured it was mayonnaise. Needless to say there were gobs of seasoned sauce loaded on the sandwich. I asked for extra lettuce to maybe kill some of the sauce but it didn't. I couldn't eat the sandwich and I think my husband ate half of his. They had an ice cream machine down they couldn't make milkshakes and they were waiting in their order of ice cream to arrive so they only had about six flavors to choose from. On a positive note the zucchini fries and french fries were delicious. Would I go back? I would go back if they were making milkshakes and maybe grab an order of zucchini fries but I don't think I would eat lunch there again. read more

Stopped in for a milkshake (chocolate) and the wife got their fish and chips... Pulled up to the drive up window, staff was very kind and very accommodating with extra napkins, tartar sauce and other condiments, the milkshake is (was) OUTSTANDING!! The fish and chips were EXCELLENT! I never knew they had such good fish and chips... we've had their burgers and those are INCREDIBLE! But on that day we had a new surprise... fish and chips!! We chose the hand cut fries, they had crispness on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. The place looked clean as all the workers scurried about handling orders... it's your typical hamburger joint, we had to park out in front because the fish take a little bit longer to cook, 3 minutes later... we had our food and off we went. I love the mushroom burger, skipped the fries (doctor's order) and did not go home hungry. We had a Grizzly Burger with no lettuce , pickle or tomato; Jalapéno Burger, Deluxe Bacon Cheese Burger basket; Chicken nugget Basket; Cheese Burger basket; 2 orders of Garlic Fries. Order came to $99.98 (no drinks) The Jalapéno Burger was very good and the rest of the burgers were "ok". We were disappointed with the Garlic Fries. They used powder garlic, not fresh or minced, and it did not taste like garlic. I was expecting something similar to Garlic Fries I've ate at the Mariner's games. We waited 1 hour for just burgers, that they didn't start cooking until 50 minutes after we ordered. They served multiple groups that got in after us before we got our food. Well I don't know how I could get them to improve. I hadn't been there for a long time Aunt about 4 or 5 years ago now. I sent someone down, called in an order and sent someone to pick it up for me. On our way back from camping in Ocean Shores, decided to stop from lunch, my friend Googled for ideas and Grizzly Den came up. What I love about traveling around WA is finding all the roadside burger spots. I am vegetarian so I got the grilled cheese. My husband got the veggie burger. The staff were super friendly. We ate outside on the back deck. The parking lot is big so it was easy to park with our campers. We were waned up front that the wait would be a little long. The wait here is LONG for a burger place that wasn't very busy. Ordered a bacon cheese with fries and a drink. The burger patty was good but pathetic amount of bacon and the tomato was mush as you can see in my picture. The fries were cold and was told they would bring out my drink to our table.
