Swung by here spontaneously on the way out of Ocean Shores for breakfast, which is only served on Saturdays and Sundays. The room layout is pretty cool. Essentially every seat is an ocean view. The center of the room is raised so you can still see over everyone. I got the croissant sandwich, which came with hash brown as well. The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery. Hash browns were cooked well. Lightly crispy on the outside, but not to the point of tasting burnt. In my croissant sandwich, I got my eggs over easy, which may have been a mistake. As soon as I took a bite, the yolks exploded all over my hands. It was hilariously messy, but the runny yolk paired so well with the hash browns. But yeah I had to finish off that sandwich real quick to prevent further damage. My wife had the biscuits and gravy, which she was very pleased with. Biscuits were slightly crispy on the outside, and it came with two whole biscuits cut in half, so 4 pieces total, with a heaping portion of gravy. To finish off the meal, I had to try some of their sourdough toast. I am very glad I didn't skip that. It was delectably buttery. I added some blackberry jam on that thing and woo boy now that's a finisher. It was honestly so good, I'd consider just ordering toast, croissant, and hash browns next time and skipping out on the meat haha. Our server Melanie was incredibly sweet. Got us refills on all of our drinks, checked in each time she passed through, and took good care of us. Overall, very solid breakfast, great service, and a nice view :) read more

Parking was easy. Service was excellent. View of ocean was a bit of a fantasy compared to being on the beatch as the actual water is a few hundred feet from the window. My husband ordered the traditional breakfast, and we asked for the hash browns to be cooked extra crispy--they came out perfect. So happy to find them open on a Monday after seeing a recent review saying that they aren't. Turns out they are open seven days a week for breakfast lunch and dinner. Not everything in my experience was perfect, but this restaurant served us delicious food, our service was good, and the low rating needs a huge bump. Although some training in table side wine service might be needed, we had a great time and never felt rushed. To anyone wondering about the food...it was fantastically cooked. Prime Rib was amazing and one of us got the Ribeye steak...It was wonderful, but I preferred my Prime Rib. Our server was skilled in pacing our experience and our table was prepared for each course. Excellent dinner in June 2025. Started with a bowl of clam chowder and an order of garlic bread. Both delicious. Main meals we got crab and a ribeye. Both fantastic. Steak ordered medium and it was more medium well but still plenty juicy and flavorful. Service was excellent. We had a 4pm reservation and had a beautiful seat against the window. The salad was basic, not bad and not memorable. Her hamburger looked much better than it tasted. It had outrageously thick bacon. I never thought there was such a thing as too much bacon, but this hamburger had too much. Additionally, the patty was overcooked, bland, and dry. French fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. We would not order this again. I ordered the alfredo and added chicken. The pasta and sauce were delicious. It had a creamy texture and lots of flavor. It was served with crostini which was well seasoned and good. The chicken add on was $8 and not worth it. The chicken was dry, super thin, and had no flavor. It tasted like those prepackaged strips you get in the grocery store. I would definitely order the alfredo and skip the chicken next time. The breakfast prices weren't bad at all and the food was good and plentiful. However we didn't eat dinner there at all during our stay. The food was exactly what we had hoped. Husband had prime rib perfectly cooked, baked potato (huge) and carrots. Everything was cooked perfectly. I had their delicious wedge salad enough to share at the table. Our friends ordered fish and chips. One was salmon the other halibut. They loved their food as she had never had battered salmon and will order it again. They also ordered clam chowder and let us know it was the best they've had. We ended the night sharing the brownie a la mode and it was a huge slice, enough for 4 people to enjoy to round out our dinner and celebrate an earlier birthday. Came here with a few other people. Everyone ordered steak meals with different sides. I gotta say this was probably one of the better ribeye steaks I've ever gotten from a restaurant. We were staying in the resort and decided to have dinner at Emily's because we were too tired to drive into town. I was surprised that the food was actually pretty darn good. I had the cranberry spinach salad and the hubs had the prime rib dip. Both were flavorful and portioned well. I was really prepared for mediocre food but it was good enough that I would likely eat here again. I only deducted stars because the drinks were not consistent. Some were good while others were over poured and hard to finish because the alcohol was so strong. The service was excellent though. No issues with that at all. On the fence about this place. The person who showed me to my table had the personality of a rock and didn't really care about anything. Yet the waitress i had was phenomenal and very personable. Deducted a star because the food really isn't all that it could be. Had the burger and price was decent for this type of place though all casinos suffer from lack of ambiance. There is definitely an institutional feel and lack of any character. The French fries were greasy, not overly but noticeable. The burger itself seemed to lack flavor until added packets of ketchup and mustard. On the plus side the bin was good and there's a decent heft to the burger. The packets were a surprise, didn't expect those. Dine in | Dinner | $100+ Had the absolute worst dining experience tonight. We were going out for a nice dinner for my MIL's birthday while we're in ocean shores from out of town. My boyfriend & I have been here MANY times before & have always had a decent experience & I'm not sure what changed but everything about tonight was absolutely TERRIBLE. It was the least busy I've ever seen it for a Saturday night & service was SO SLOW. It took 30 mins just for my boyfriend's VODKA SPRITE to come out. Every single one of our sides came out COLD. Not to mention absolutely unseasoned. Thankfully I got the cold crab which is hard to mess up (I also added a crab cluster which was $20 when it used to be $10) But my sides (asparagus & disgusting, dry, unseasoned yellow rice) were cold & to "fix" the situation they offered to remake my sides, which also came out BARELY warm & 20 mins later, & AFTER the check had already been brought to us & we were getting ready to leave. My SIL's prime rib came out cold & when they took it back & brought it back out, it was again barely warm & now over cooked. When we brought all of this to the waitress' attention she got the manager who didn't offer a a single apology (an apology in itself goes a LONG way) he did offer us a "desert to share" & made excuses & was very condescending then left to "see what he could do" & disappeared. After we spoke to management our waitress pretty much avoided eye contact & ignored us the rest of the night besides to rush us with the check. (We were very kind to her about the situation, just disappointed but we know most of our "complaints" had nothing to do with her besides the slow service & then ignoring us) My boyfriend had to go up to the bar (while WE WERE SITTING TO DINE) just to get his second drink which thankfully was way quicker than the first time. When the BUS BOY asked us how everything was & listened to our experience, he was apologetic & kind & when we mentioned the managers name he BELLY LAUGHED which I think shows that even the employees think management is a joke. Anyway, my boyfriend is not one to "be a Karen" to management but the way we were treated & the service & unseasoned cold food was just too much to ignore when we were spending hundreds of dollars. In the end they offered us a measly 15% discount which we felt was just not enough for the absolutely horrendous service we received. The original manager refused to speak with us & the other manager we spoke to offered absolutely nothing to rectify the situation & just stared at us like we were crazy for being disappointed. After 20 mins of discussing the check we just payed & left but I can't say we'll be back again as something has clearly changed & not for the good. My family has been going to Emily's for years. It is a staple whenever we go to Ocean Shores. So we were excited to go on this trip to celebrate a family birthday. things went bad from the get go. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. That was the end of the good service. It didn't seem really busy for a Saturday but the service was very slow with our drinks and one cocktail. THe drinks came out right before the dinners but we were told that the bartender was busy making 6 drinks which held up the cocktail till after dinner was brought Dinner was a disaster. The $50 crab dinners came out with cold as ice sides and under cooked asparagus. The prime rib dinner and sides came out cold also. When you pay that much for dinner you should get better then Dennys type food, so we asked for at least the prime rib dinner to be heated. No problem, things happen. But when it came back out it was overcooked and the sides were still cold. When our waitress failed to check in so we could tell her we asked for the manager. 20 minutes later he came out to our table. He made excuses for the bartender but then stated blankly at us while backing away from our table. He said he would get some hot sides for the crab dinner right away and Hie asked us what else we wanted him to do for us then offered us desserts to SHARE. We declined stating that the prime Rib dinner couldn't be eaten, so no dessert. By this time the mood was pretty down. when our waitress brought our bill the warm sides had still not come out but the manager had removed the prime rib from the tab. as soon as our bill arrived a lady brought out the sides finally and said we could just take them home. The sides were still cold. We were done and upon paying out, tried to tell the manageragain about how much was wrong. He just stared blankly at us. I never heard an explanation or an apology or any accountability from the 4 or so staff we dealt with. All could've ended well with some empathy from staff and more effort for fixing what was wrong instead of excuses. We are not mean people but work hard for our money and felt like we're paying a lot for a little. And the food that wasn't brought out wrong was mediocre at best. Will not go back. read more
