Stopped in to eat while on vacation and I have to admit I was not impressed. The food was mediocre at best, not a lot of flavor, and the Hawaiian chicken looked uncooked. However, it was fully cooked, it just looked like it wad boiled as there was no charring or bbq grill marks. If you look on their website it shows chicken that's actually grilled but as you can see from my picture that's not the case. I added a picture of my food and a picture from their website to see the difference. The restaurant was clean, and the service was good.

Brisket (95% fat)

We should have read the reviews more carefully, as we are not the first to comment how terrible the brisket was. See the attached photo - that is a $25 plate of brisket with .5 bites gone. The portion was nearly all fat. It wasn't just poor tourist food, but actually an inedible gelatinous mass. The beans were ok.

Understaffed. Honestly, don't remember much of it because I bit into my fish sandwich and immediately got burnt by hot liquid that came out of the fat fish patty. There was two fish patties on it, which is stupid next time just use one big piece of fish, not two little piece of fish. It was hard to hold the sandwich together the fish was overcooked and dry. The sandwich had no Moisture at all to it. It was just gross. There was no way to get extra tartar sauce or cocktail sauce, or anything like that. The rest of the family had a ok lunch.

Their food is tasty. I enjoyed it. The place can get a bit hectic on popular tourist weekends but it's worth the wait.

Finally stopped at this place during a trip down to Astoria. I'm pissed I haven't stopped sooner…read more So good!! Food was real good, moist and fresh, great bbq sauce and their sides were perfect. The Sour Cream Standoff!…read more I came with my best friend and from the start the energy felt off. She ordered chili cheese fries and asked for a side of sour cream, something I have witnessed her successfully order there before. The server immediately responded with attitude, saying they do not have sour cream. My friend calmly explained she has gotten it before, however the server remained firm and did not offer to check with the kitchen. When the food arrived, there was no sour cream so I politely asked if she had checked with the kitchen. She replied, "We don't have sour cream lady" and walked away without clarifying whether she had actually asked. When she returned, I said I was not trying to be confrontational, just genuinely curious if she had confirmed with the kitchen. She admitted she had not asked because she "knew they did not have any" At that point I asked if she could please just humor me and double check since it would take a few seconds while picking up food. Five minutes later a woman approached the table in full defensive mode and asked, "Are you the one asking for sour cream?" She identified herself as the owner and was immediately combative. The entire restaurant went quiet. It was wildly uncomfortable. She explained that sometimes they did have it but they do not right now. The issue was never about sour cream. It was about the attitude and unprofessional behavior of staff and owner, as well as escalation over something that could have been resolved in a few seconds. Beyond that, the overall experience did not improve. The restaurant felt unclean, the bathrooms were rough, and the food did not make up for the tension. It is one thing to run out of an item. It is another thing entirely to turn a simple question into a public confrontation. Disappointing across the board.

I was a little overwhelmed with the burger choices - so many to choose from (not complaining ). We ended up getting the smash burger combo meal and a pound of brisket. The burger was literally the biggest burger I've seen. You can definitely share this one. The flavor combo was unreal and nothing short of incredible. It hit the spot! Fries were alright, nothing to get excited about. The brisket came shredded with a delicious bbq sauce drizzled on it. We were assuming it would have came in slabs but once again not complaining that it was shredded. Great smoke flavor! You definitely get your moneys worth here. I can't believe we have been in the area for a year and have yet to try this place out. We've clearly been missing out. We plan on coming back to try the ribs out soon! Thank you for the great service and food! (Sorry no photos, we were too eager to eat, next time!)

Especially when we live a 20 minute drive away and there is never any way of knowing if they are actually open.

I finally had their TNT burrito, and it is spectacular in taste, design, thought and price. Danny is sitting on an unbelievable gold mine if they were to offer the TNT with choices. For example: I would personally order brisket, pork rib meat, mac and cheese, baked beans and coleslaw. All rolled up in a flour tortilla. Something to digest. Oh, Danny boy the pipes the pipes are pippin'! p.s. You won't find better brisket anywhere. That's what separates the men from the boys in the BBQ world. Take it from Kansas City Fats.

My nitpicky toddler even loves the mac and cheese and ribs! Service was excellent the place was packed little over an hour after they opened on a Thursday. Wait time was reasonable as there was quite a few orders being brought out. They had a TV for entertainment in there and was quite toasty. Got to order to go and unfortunately the baked beans spilled on the inside of the bag all over the containers of mac and cheese and our other two main dishes. I hope next time they'll put the baked beans on the bottom instead of the mac and cheese.

I ordered the seafood fettuccine, cheese curds and Brussels sprouts. The serving sizes of the pasta and sprouts was for 2 people. I inhaled the pasta dish, so incredibly tasty. The seafood was fresh, and there was just one small hard bit of clam shell but that happens when serving them on the shell. Jumbo shrimp wasn't expected and seemed to have been swimming that morning. Tasty salmon. Divine sauce, which I don't think I've ever thought of an Alfredo before. Quality cheese. The sprouts were roasted/blackened, and tasted great. A bit of fried onions, I think, sprinkled on top that I just ate around (just not for me). Cheese curds were still hot and fresh with marinara and a BBQ sauce I added. Leftovers fed me lunch the next day. It was one of those meals where I was ful but wanted to keep eating, it was so delicious.

The service seemed friendly overall, but there were moments that said otherwise. When a glass of water was spilled right in front of the server, she didn't offer any extra napkins or help clean the table. My pasta was worse than Domino's. I didn't even take it to go -- it was completely bland, and the shrimp were tough. My aunt ordered fish with vegetables, and the carrots were clearly burnt. At first, I thought maybe it was some kind of preparation style I didn't understand, but no -- they were simply burnt. Honestly, it's especially disappointing because I had recommended this place to my friends before. I live a few hours away and came here partly for good food, but even being very hungry after the long wait didn't make the meal any better. The oysters were also flavorless. On top of that, I didn't feel well after dinner and had stomach pain. I can't say for sure it was caused by the food, but it definitely added to the negative experience.
