Wait...What? Arby's has burgers now? Well, to be fair, Arby's "has the meats" so why not add burgers, at least for a limited time. So Arby's is now offering up two different burgers. One has "burger sauce" and the other has "ranch sauce" plus bacon. When Arby's announced these burgers, they revealed that they were "Wagyu" burgers, dropped the mic and walked off stage. Wagyu? Well, not exactly. About half the beef in the patty is from Japanese Wagyu cattle BRED with "Continental" breeds of cattle...whatever that is. The other half (approximately) is just good 'ol ground beef... I'll assume not continental (whatever that is). Do "Continental" cows wear smoking jackets and smoke pipes? So, if Wagyu is the "Why" in why you should pay a premium price for these burgers, then they should taste like Wagyu, right? Unfortunately, they don't. Wagyu beef has been described as "sublime: buttery, almost sweet, with delicate notes of umami." Even though Arby's cooks their burger patties Sous Vide style in a vacuum-sealed pouch, heated slowly in a water bath (not grilled or broiled) my particular burger did not have any visible pink in the patty (which they advertise as part of the premium burger experience). It was cooked all the way through which affects texture. It just tasted like a run-of-the-mill underseasoned burger patty. Expectations. I didn't really expect much from the new Wagyu burger. After all, this is just a fast food burger despite the marketing. To be fair, I've paid several times the price for Wagyu burgers that really weren't much better. Was I crabby about my patty? Nope. Do I expect the burger to be around past the limited time announced by Arby's? Nope.

Food is nasty. Reminded me of why I hate fast food. The staff was nice though and I liked the decor. Place is clean.

This is my husband's favorite little place to stop on the way to visit his mother (in Ocean Shores)…read morewhen driving through Aberdeen. This was my first visit. We got a veggie burrito and also I told them I wanted a super taco but no meat-beans & cheese instead. The burrito was huge and delicious. My taco order got lost in translation I guess because I didn't get all the stuff the super burrito was supposed to have , like sour cream, lettuce & tomato and guac. All I got was a tortilla with beans & cheese. As our order was to go I didn't go back to correct it. Next time I'll just order meat. Their salsas were excellent-we got both green & red. They juice their own carrots for fresh juice which my husband loves. I got strawberry agua Fresca. I asked for some limes to brighten it up and though I know that's not authentic, they obliged me and I liked it better that way. I'm sure we will be back. I'm not going to hold them responsible for my taco as I don't think I made myself clear and it was kind of a weird request. I just wasn't in the mood for meat. P.S. The prices here are very reasonable!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5…read moreAmbiance: 4.5/5 For the food, we had the quesobirria tacos, a slew of papusas, carne asada tacos, and an adobada taco. The best bite, the quesobirria tacos, BY FAR. My daughter said it was "the best birria I've had in a long time." The meat was tender and (not to sound too cliche) the consommé was packed with flavor. The papusas the chicken and cheese was the best one, followed by the jalepeno and cheese, the rest were not bad, just nothing to write home about. As far as the tacos go, the carne asada was fine, the adobada had great flavor and a decent char on it. This made for a great post-crab fishing meal and will likely come back next time we're in town. Oh! This place is on the pricier side, just so there's no sticker shock. The service was decent, but I'm pretty sure our papusas were dished up wrong, but such is life when they all look the same, the inside of the restaurant is all of we the place but super clean.

The food here has generally been okay, and sometimes even good, but today was by far the worst…read moreservice we have experienced. My wife ordered four pupusas and two servings of curtido before I arrived. When I came in, I simply wanted to ask if our order had already been started because, if it hadn't, I was considering making a small change. Before I could even explain what I was asking, I was abruptly interrupted and told, "You can't change orders." Had someone simply explained that the food was already being prepared, I would have completely understood. Instead, the interaction felt rude and dismissive, as if there was no interest in even listening to the customer. Later, while we were seated, I asked if we could have an additional curtido. I was told there would be an extra charge. What surprised me was not the charge itself, but the attitude surrounding the conversation. After the earlier interaction, it felt as though we were not being welcomed as customers. I even pointed out that if I had ordered the pupusas separately, additional curtido would have come with those orders anyway, making the charge seem unnecessary and inconsistent. My family and I have eaten here two, three, and sometimes four times a month. This is not the first time we have experienced poor service, but we overlooked it because we wanted to continue supporting the business. Unfortunately, today's experience was the final straw. What made the situation even worse was that I asked to speak with someone about my concerns. More than 15 minutes passed, and no one came out to speak with me. In fact, I am writing this review while still waiting. What was especially frustrating was that the restaurant was not busy at the time. There were plenty of empty tables and open seating areas, so it did not appear that staff were overwhelmed or unable to respond. A simple conversation, explanation, or apology would have gone a long way. At that point, the issue was no longer about an extra serving of curtido or any additional charge. It was about customer service, communication, and basic respect for customers. We felt ignored and unappreciated despite being regular patrons. Food is only part of the dining experience. Service matters just as much. Customers can overlook mistakes, but they remember how they are treated. I sincerely hope management takes customer service seriously because it is one of the most important parts of running a successful restaurant. We always tip over the customary amount. Not today! Sadly, after today's experience, this will most likely be our last visit.
