2.5 stars...My husband said his beer was fantastic and he would rate it 5 stars off of that... but the food was awful. We had the buffalo chicken wrap (didn't even use buffalo sauce, it tasted like ranch and hot sauce and seemed to have chicken nugget type chicken inside ), the pizza pretzel (bland flavors, seemed pulled from a freezer and the marina was cold) and the pulled pork sandwich...which was just megh. Yeah, my friend and I were in Aberdeen, about to do some landscaping for his property. However, we didn't have all the tools, so we decided to pack up and try another time. On our way back north, we stopped by Mount Olympus Brewery. It was quite quiet, especially since it was a Sunday and not many people were there. We were just me and two other friends, so we decided to sit at the bar and have a few drinks. The place was fairly quiet, and they had a TV in the bar area, which was pretty cool. We ended up watching the NBA Finals game seven. The servers were amazing--down-to-earth, very personable, and they made us feel very welcome. Maybe because it wasn't that many people there, but anyway, I don't think that was an issue. There were great people there. They had plenty of options on draft and bottled/ canned , but I sampled two stouts on draft. The one that I liked the most was the Blood of Hades, which is a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout that aged for 12 months. I really enjoy the flavors of bourbon, char, and chocolate, hence the vanilla, and combined with bursting flavors of cinnamon, spice, and dark chocolate. It's by far earned its place in my top 5% of styles that I've drunk in multiple regions. I should definitely return here in the near future and indulge some more because this place seems pretty cool. It's very quiet and peaceful. I recommend coming to Mount Olympus Brewery if ever in Aberdeen. read more

This was my favorite brewery in the area. They had a lot of good beers on tap and they had a lot of selections. You can buy cans to take home with you. Our server was very friendly and let us try several samples before we decided what we wanted. I got a 5 ounce for both the single IPA and a double IPA. Both were delicious in my opinion. We stopped here for a quick bite to eat after our soccer game! We had the giant pretzel, quesadilla, a Cuban, and the pulled pork sandwich. Service was friendly, and the space was clean and pretty quiet! My Cuban was pretty delicious, and my daughter loved her pretzel...it really was huge! My husband just thought that the pork sandwich was okay. I would have preferred a little more chewy bread for my Cuban, but the flavor was good. My dad enjoyed his quesadilla and wanted more of the fire salsa. We didn't try any of the beer or ciders, but the local area is well represented--both on tap and in the cooler! Stopped in on a mid-week afternoon for a tasting with the Executive Director of the Downtown Aberdeen Association. After a detailed walking tour, he suggested checking out MOB (Mount Olympus Brewing) as I had never been to this local brewery before. Great suggestion! Their motto is "Different on purpose and purposely making a difference." okay, cool! I did a tasting flight of 4 pours. All were very good & worthy of a pint. The flight started off with "Come as you are," a nice Nirvana tribute with a subtle peach nose. A "Midsummer's Dream," a hazy pale ale, followed with more sweet texture and acidity. Both were refreshing...summer in a glass...or two! All were delicious, but "Blur in Time" (ABV:6.8) a cream stout made with a cold brew concentrate from Ocean Beach Roasters was the standout for me here. Creamy and complex, this will be my next pour when I return. They are currently in the process of building a new outdoor space which is going to be a great addition to the downtown scene! Bottom line, MOB has a chill vibe, a low key friendly staff and is a great place to explore some new flavors. read more

As a POC, i'm always on lookout when going to small towns and conservative areas. just a few other locals around and friendly. guess i lucked out. Bathrooms clean. I didn't have a pleasant time here, I walked in and had no idea that it was a seat yourself and order at the counter. When looking at their menu online their website says they have a cheese nachos, pub nachos and more different types of nachos, I ordered cheese nachos with chicken and sour cream, they brought me nachos with everything in it including salsa, olives, guacamole, jalepenos, and more. I went to tell them they gave me the wrong order and they told me they can't take it back and they just haven't updated their menu yet and I'd have to order a whole new item of nachos, which are another $13 by the way. I then tried to eat around the extra toppings and the chips are not very good, they aren't salty and also taste stale, there was also very little cheese. Do not recommend going here. read more

I can no longer recommend this place. A year ago, I could tolerate the inflated prices for the decent beer and dog-friendliness. Here's the thing: I passed by this place and immediately worked to find my way back to grab a beer. These folks clearly know what they're doing, and have a great establishment to go along with it. That said, I still left regretting my purchase of a beer. Let me be clear: I'm telling myself that the bartender was trying to make me laugh or whatever, but was overly pedantic to both me and the customer before (she asked: "Do you have any boxes?" To which the bartender goes to the back and comes back with two boxes. "Oh I only need the one," said the customer. The bartender's response? "You said box-ES." It left the lady ahead of me feeling like she had to explain herself, followed by a polite "sorry" from her. This, to me, is unacceptable in customer service). When I came up, I ordered a Number Two, to which he tried being pedantic AGAIN and telling me the bathrooms are in the back. I then felt the need to ARGUE WHAT I JUST SAID so that I could just get a damn beer. I almost walked away, but paid out anyway. The beer was really good! This is a great brewery addition to Aberdeen which I feel needs more breweries in general. I tried three of their beers here and they were so enjoyable and the recipes are very creative! I got the S'mores edition of the Mount Deception beer which is a porter with all of the flavor features you expect with S'mores... graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow. I also got a taster of their Blood of Hades stout which also was amazing! This beer had three types of chile peppers... Ancho, Mulato and Guajillo peppers with aged vanilla, cinnamon and coffee. An extremely enjoyable beer! Another one I got in taster size (the name eludes me) was a wheat IPA... another fantastic beer. The taproom is nice and spacious and the night I went to very popular and I can definitely see why... the beer was stellar! I look forward to coming back.... and I so look forward to trying their other beers! They are simply lovely! read more

We visited Mount Olympus Brewing on our recent trip to Olympic National Park. We drove down to Aberdeen from Lake Quinalt one evening for dinner. Things were quiet on a Monday night but there were customers and the small staff was working hard. Good beer and a menu that is more diverse than many brew pubs. We particularly enjoyed the mini corn dogs! Worth visiting if you're in the area. read more
