This place was really tasty! I had the pineapple coconut beer which was a little light on the flavor. The food, however was delicious. We shared the onion rings which were light and crispy, some of the best I've had. I had the patty melt with a side of au jus. It was really good! The French dip also looked tasty. If you're looking for someplace in Olympia definitely check this out!

Ask about the Corndog Millionaire! Seriously, that's your first assignment and a good reason to go! Never had Meade before, so this place gave me a wonderful introduction. Take flight with a flight of Meades for an affordable price. There are over 15 types of Meade offered here! Various levels of sweetness and alcohol content! Some may be sweet and strong! The bar has tots and the famous Corndog--freshly made in house. I hadn't eaten a Corndog since the 90s when I was a kid! The taste brought me back! Again, ask about the Corndog millionaire! He's a legend! Let's Meade up here soon!

Out of this world onion rings. Hand dipped in house beer batter to order

Had a great meal and great service from Emily today. I had the bleu burger with grilled onions and hubby had the mushroom burger. Both burgers were tasty and we liked the buns. Star of the show were the onion rings which are the best we've had in as long as we can remember. Thick cut and they hand dip them in house made beer batter to order. Light, crispy and flavorful. Any other onion rings will be a let down from here on out!!! Our server was very knowledgeable about the beers and my beer aficionado hubby enjoyed discussing the wide array of options they had. Oh, and they had a flag expressing inclusivity. What a bizarre review someone made regarding bumper stickers on customers cars in their parking lot, like they have control over what the general public does

Our first visit to this location, oddly enough closer to our house than the Raymond location, where we've been many times. Great vibe here in downtown Olympia. Variety of meads and beers available. Friendly, fast service.

The tap beer (I had the Hefeweizen) is so good and the food is amazing. I highly recommend this place for its food and tap brew. The is service was awesome too. I will be returning every time I'm in the Olympia area. Five stars in book.

The gang decorating the pub!

We've eaten here several times over the years, this was the first time we eat dinner here. Fam. Let me tell you, the very reasonable lunch size portions? They're significantly bigger on the dinner menu. Almost disturbingly so Being able to get a selection of interesting regional beers is always a draw, tonight was no exception. And the pretty good lunch menu is expanded for the dinner hour - as well as the portion sizes being expanded. I ordered the fish and chips, my partner ordered the bar steak (which was New York strip), and her daughter ordered the salmon burger with fries. Because it was a special, we also got a giant order of poutine. Despite being in almost at closing, the service was absolutely spectacular. We very nearly had the place to ourselves, so the overall vibe was very homey and welcoming. As noted, the portions were enormous. I opted to finish my fish at the expense of the chips. My partner wound up with a significant take home portion as did her daughter. Couldn't possibly have been happier about our decision to stop in. Since we seem to have a new Greener in the family, I'm sure that we will be in Olympia significantly more frequently. And frankly, I am pretty happy about that, just based on being able to stop in here on the regular again.

I went here with my coworkers for a team happy hour and it was great!…read more It's a HUGE pup with tons of indoor seating and also a screened in patio. The ambiance is definitely that of a pub, which was great! It was comfortable and cozy but also open and airy. The service was good; it took a bit for someone to come initially serve us, but once we were addressed, the service was quick! To drink, I had the Ayinger Oktoberfest first and followed it up with a Seattle Soda root beer. The Ayinger Oktoberfest was light and flavorful. I found the 0.3 size appropriate for me, but they also had the half pint and a stein which was HUGE. The root beer was sweet and cold and I was given a large amount of it. To eat, we shared some appetizers. My favorite was the kettle chip nachos. I've never had anything like it! It's a bed of kettle chips topped with bacon, cheese, and green onions. It was crispy, crunchy, and delicious; and perfect for sharing! I like how it was served on a baking tray. My second favorite was the French fries; it's a generous portion and they are so flavorful and fried to perfection. The only comment I have is that the curry ketchup served on the side wasn't for me. The last appetizer we got was the pretzel; it's BIG! I liked the sauces that it came with. Beautifully soft with a nice crust and pillowy inside. We enjoyed the trivia night that was hosted! It was so fun and well organized. If you're looking for a fun pub to go to with your coworkers, family, or friends with a fantastic beer selection and delicious food; check out Berliner Pub in Renton!

I love the pub setting and decor with its rustic, cozy charm. The interior is spacious and perfect for groups of any size, whether you're watching sports, dining casually, or enjoying happy hour. It felt like we were in a different country. The menu offers plenty, from classic German cuisine to draft beers and more. We all ordered a variety of stuff, and everything looked appetizing. We shared a couple of starters--deep-fried pickles and the Brätzel. Both were great. For my entrée, I chose one of the Berliner Favorites, a Schnitzel Sandwich with a side of skinny fries. It was also delicious and filling. If you can't decide on what beer to try, they offer a few flight options. We also had to get the German Chocolate Cake shot! It's dangerously good! The staff was kind and attentive and made the meal experience even better. If I come back to visit the area, I'll consider coming back for more tasty German food and a refreshing beer! After the meal, we walked around town and found some cool spots for dessert and to hang out.

When we arrived, we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone would seat us. After waiting several minutes, we decided to just seat ourselves and one of the bartenders came over with menus and water. The menu is concise and I thought it was neat that they make their own ranch sauces. I got the chili cheese fries but with tots and my boyfriend got their polish dog and an order of waffle fries. It took some time to get our food but when we did receive it, the portions were bigger than what I expected and it was good. Our server was friendly and checked in on us every so often as well as the other patrons. She asked if we needed anything else and I asked if I could have their ranch, she asked which one and I told her that I would like to try both their regular and jalapeño. The jalapeño is definitely ranch that I've had with a great kick to it. The chili here was flavorful and had good chunks of meat, I wish there was a little less onion and more cheese. My boyfriend loved his Polish dog and waffle fries, especially how they cooked the onions. Only one thing that was a bummer was there were flies that were trying to get to our food and it was just annoying having to swat them away every couple of minutes. The inside is pretty huge as they have two pool tables, a TV playing, music playing at a good volume, and plenty of seating at their dining area and bar area. They do have outdoor seating too. Overall, not a bad spot to stop by to hang out or enjoy a good meal.

Nothing earth shattering but good solid fried fish sandwich on a nice soft bun. Two pieces of fish and good tartar sauce. Ray had the French dip and it looked amazing. Lots of tender roast beef with grilled onions and Swiss Cheese. We ordered a side of Jo Jo Potatoes to split. (The waitress-cook-bartender split them on our plates for us) Note: they are surface of the sun hot! Order these first and they might cool down by the time your food comes. Prices are fair. We'll go back again.
