On my way back from March Madness in Portland, I decided to stop by this Irish pub to catch up with a long-time friend. To my surprise, the place was packed with customers on a Sunday afternoon. I expected a slower pace, but it was anything but. The atmosphere was lively, with people playing pool and enjoying themselves. One of the unique features of this pub is a table game that many of you may not be familiar with. It's called Table Shuffleboard, and it's one of my favorites. I've played it a few times in Alaska, and it's a great game. To play, you simply request the pucks from the servers, and it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. We ordered a couple of beers, which were fairly decent. I had the Irish Death, and my friend opted for some of the commercialized beers like Blue Moon. They also ordered some wings, which they said were very good. They recommended that if you want extra crispy wings, you should have them fried hard. The sweet potato fries were cold, but the bartender was quick to take care of that. She brought us a fresh batch in a matter of minutes. The customer service was excellent throughout our visit. I'm giving this pub a three out of five stars. I'd like to come back and try some of the food, especially in the game day environment. I'm a vegetarian, so I didn't eat much of the food we had, but I'll definitely come back and try it again. I'll also come at night to see how it is before I consider upgrading the rating. Atmosphere is not great, but it is fine for a pub. Food is amazingly good. Try the Shepherd's Pie, soda bread, Irish Coffee or any of their soups or stews. Nothing like a few cheeky pints with brunch while enjoying ourselves on our off day. It is not a pub. It is a room where hope goes to die. There is a sign that says "Irish" in large, foolish letters. There are two shamrocks, maybe three. A Guinness tap stands like a broken promise behind the bar. They serve Jameson, but not with any reverence--only the mechanical slosh of a bottle handled too many times by people who don't know why they pour it, only that they should. The service is an absence. Not just slow--there is no care, no warmth, no knowledge. The bartender stared through me like I was a ghost come to haunt his shift. I waited ten minutes before he asked what I wanted, then another ten before he brought it, and it wasn't what I'd ordered. The glass was warm. The beer was wrong. The whiskey came with ice when I'd asked for none, as if my words had been thrown down a well. The food came cold, and late. I think it was called shepherd's pie, but I've eaten better out of tins in worse times. The waitress dropped it in front of me like she was discarding trash. She didn't look back. No one ever looks back in this place. They think the word "Irish" makes it enough. But it takes more than green bulbs and cheap Celtic fonts. There's no soul in the place. No music that matters. No talk worth hearing. Just televisions shouting at booths and the low hum of people finding solace amongst others stuck in that particular purgatory. I drank the drink, because I had paid for it. But no true Irishman would finish a drink in a place like that. O'Blarneys is not a pub. It is the absence of one. read more

I've been here many times and the service and food is always wonderful. I just needed a quick meal after a long day and got the Beef Nachos. Everything was very fresh and tasty! The bar is great because you can play pool or watch games on one of the many tvs they have setup. The dining area equally as nice. read more

Stopped in at 2pm on Monday right when they opened and overall had a solid lunch here. I got the Bartender's Philly and mom got the 3 piece fish and chips. I'll be honest, the fries were insanely delicious and were some of the best fries I've had. They were pipping hot, light and crunchy. So so good! The Philly was pretty tasty, and I thought the added jalapenos were a great touch. The stadium roll it was on was bland and somewhat soft but a little firm. Was it the most amazing sandwich I've ever had? No, but it was filling and tasted just fine and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great meal for a pub. Our waitress was super friendly and got our meals out in a timely manner. But she did forget mom ordered 3 pieces of fish instead of two so she had to go back and get another one cooked for us. I ate the third piece and it was good! I wasn't a huge fan of the flavored beer battered coating someone else may find it delicious so I can't fault them for that. The cod was very hot and flaky as I was eating it. I was indifferent towards the tartar sauce. I've had better in other places. But as a whole, I had a great experience here. Ok first of all our waitress was spectacular! Not only did myself and my husband and her all pronounce words effed up, we all were able to laugh about it. Ok, seriously though: they had an espresso martini which I have always wanted to try. Don't. They don't make it traditionally with vodka and it has cream, however it was tasty. They use a whiskey cold brew and I'm not a fan of whiskey. We both got burgers. I added a fried egg and bacon on mine and he got the one with ham and a fried egg plus he got beer buddies. You thought tots were good? Naw, not until you try these! They were sooooo cheesy and yummy! My burger was on point but the egg could be more runny. It was an over hard bummer. We came on St. Patty's Day, hoping to get a nice breakfast before the festivities start. Unfortunately for us, they opened at 11am. Understandable since they were probably going to be open into the late hours. Still, it was very confusing. They charged a $10 cover charge per person (have cash ready, because some people didn't), gave us wristbands, then threw into the bar area where nobody knew what to do. Some people shot outside so we followed them, where they were getting the band area ready. There were some tables and people sat down, not knowing what to do. There was a pizza truck and a beer stand and it's like they were ready for you to buy from them, but the people running them didn't seem to know what was going on. I went inside to see if that's where you order and sure enough, you do. But I also noticed that people were sitting at the tables in the bar area, waiting to order I guess? I threw my stuff on the last open table, then went outside to grab my family and tell them to come in. Good thing, because mom had been freezing out there for the last 30 mins as we tried to figure out how to get service. We sat there for a long time, wondering if we had to order at the bar where the sign said, "Order Here" or the table with the sign that said, "Order Here." Finally a waitress came over and took our drink order. She dropped the drinks in front of us within minutes, then disappeared for a half hour. Sis finally went to the table marked "Order Here" and the lady told us to wait for our waitress. Sis told her we'd been waiting, but the waitress was ignoring us. The lady got on the walkie and reminded our waitress that we were her customers. The waitress ran over, took our orders, and disappeared again for another half hour. Our food finally came and it was okay. I'd eaten at this restaurant before and remembered it being good, but it was clear that they were streamlining things to get through the day. The corned beef was fried, not stewed, so it was a bit dry. My mom made the mistake of ordering soup with the Shepherds pie, because they have the same soup base so they were the same dish, just presented differently. I had the bangers and mash and it was fine. The best bite was the soda bread with butter we all got. It was the only subtle thing we ate, yet it was flavorful without punching the hell out of our taste buds with salt. Finished our food, waited another 30 minutes for our bill. We had now been at this restaurant for 2 hours and we were so exhausted that as soon as Sis and I got home, we both took a nap for hours. Although it was a terrible experience, we will try it again. I hear the wings are good and the last time I had breakfast it was a nice experience. But never, ever, ever again will I go on St. Patty's Day. First time there and I chose fish &chips. The fish tasted really fresh and the tempura batter was delicious, crunchy and kept the fish hot

The atmosphere and staff are great. There seems to be a real issue with who is ordering food and what they think passes as that food. The Reuben was 100% not good. The Chef salad used "fake" American cheese and very poor quality Swiss. No one puts American cheese on a Chef salad. Straight out of a trailer park with that. The turkey always tastes off and old. The club is bad because of the turkey. They ham they use is very smokey and ruins the food it is in. Such as the club, the Chef salad and The Monte Cristo. I say Monte Cristo "lightly" as it is not a Monte Cristo in the least. This has been too many meals with beyond poor quality food. Maybe all the deep fried stuff is good. First, it's next to a church... on Super Bowl Sunday and before noon, perfect timing then there were 3 of the most perfect girls working they were all 3 very accommodating, you just know that you are going to be taking care of and I was! For food I had Bangers and Mash but with Hash Browns gravy and a couple eggs on top, washed down with a couple drinks.. the place is surprisingly large, the bar area has pool tables and a family friendly section too.. great time, fabulous place and great ambiance read more

They do have outdoor seating, with a view of two parking lots, but on a summer evening it's perfect. We've been there twice, service has been fine, but both times tables and surrounding areas could have been cleaner. The food is always good, but beverages are pricey for what you get. I had the apricot spritzer, which was a bit of blarney, should have been called OJ spritzer. Someone either left off the promised apricot brandy or they put too little in to taste. This is your classic Irish pub with some bar games like pool and shuffleboard. It's a good place to chill late at night with friends. The food was pretty average, about what you'd expect from a bar. As a group of four we got the fried mushrooms (good!), fries (average), mozzarella sticks (good!), beer buddies (very good), chicken strips (friend had them, they didn't say how they were), potato skins (meh), Ruben rolls (meh), and Caesar wrap (meh). The guy who took our order and brought our food was a typical bar man, using words like "hun" and "sweetheart" with us which made us feel kind of uncomfortable. read more
