Back wall tv playing Seahawks game on a rainy Sunday.

Really enjoyed this place! It was hard to find from the street because it faces a parking structure but I'm so glad I did find it! Lots of seating outside with inside having bar seating, long high top communal tables and a few lower tables for groups of 4ish. The staff were so lovely and made great recommendations. We were pleased to know they make non alcoholic beer and refer to them as self care options. My husband couldn't believe he was drinking a hazy ipa non alcoholic beer! And they had even more to choose from! When we were there, the Seahawks were playing and there were only. A few people inside. A great option when you're annoyed with the over crowded sports bar scene. There was only one food truck which we didn't try but the worker there said any outside food is welcome. They do sell snacks such as candy, chips, nuts, microwave ramen, etc. I really liked it here and will be back soon!

Cool location downtown near the courthouse. Indoor and outdoor seating is avail. Indoor seating is a mix of traditional tables and communal long tables... it was a little dark but I suspect it was the time of day and such. Had the fish and chips... hell yeah!!! 3 generous Cod Portions and hand cut fries... the starter sauce was pretty dang tasty as well. The server was very friendly and attentive. She knew the menu and her service was spot on. I think this place likely hops at lunch and in the evenings. If I'm not off my mark... the owners owned/own Darby's which was featured at another location on DDD but has since been absorbed here as they had to compress their interests due to a Budding fam. All said... I'd certainly recommend and eat here again. Kept kicking it folks.

Great brew pub. Plenty of beers to choose from and a nice menu. Food was great. We had the beer cheese soup with salad and the fish and chips. Soup per my wife, was awesome one of the best she has had. Fish and chips where great. Beer Batter was very good. Make sure and check out the stained glass above the bar. It was an original piece from the Olympia beer brewery. Pretty cool piece.

Good spot to have a bite to eat or a cold beverage on a hot summer day with social distancing! They have about 10 picnic tables setup all over the back of the restaurant/brewery that fit 6-8 people each. The contactless ordering and pickup system is easy and efficient. It was nice to be able to enjoy what they have to offer outside properly distanced from other groups. Someday we will enjoy the inside but for now this is a great alternative!

Been here several times. Great variety of "their" beer and guest taps. This time I had the Cuban (again). Pork was great flavorful and mostly moist. The fries we really good too. Paired with a Double IPA. MMMmmmmm

We first came across this hidden gem while doing the "Sip-n-Stroll" in downtown Olympia. At that time we only saw the private event space but were impressed with the sampling of food & beer served for the sip-n-stroll. Recently we went back on our own and were pleasantly surprised with the vibe in the main restaurant space and I myself was overjoyed to find out they serve spirits!!!! I thought it was just beer/wine. We had eaten before we went because we expected it to have your standard bar menu, but now we can't wait to return to try out the menu...so many options...healthy and overindulgent!!

Talking Cedar is a solid alternative to the dining at great Wolf Lodge…read more It's just around the corner with ample parking. We got there around 6:30 PM on Thursday evening and the wait was about 20 minutes for families, but we sat at the bar at a high top and got right in. We found service to be friendly and prompt. The gentleman who was taking care of us was attentive without being pushy. We started with the fried pickles which came out with ranch and aïoli for dipping. It was a huge portion. Tasty indeed. While I know pickles are inherently salty, I did find these to be exceptionally salty, leaving me to wonder if the batter was also salted, which definitely would not be necessary. Just know that if you are planning on ordering them. We also both got the Smoked Steak Salad. The salad was fresh and nicely dressed. Both of them came with a very generous serving of meat. The meat was just OK. They do not ask you how you would like your steak cooked, so once I got it, that made sense. I'm guessing they don't just smoke it for a little bit and finish the cooking it another way because it is well done with some rough bits - perhaps leftovers from something else. Honestly, I would prefer to have a nice juicy steak on top of a salad, and while I enjoyed this enough, I probably would not get it again for this reason. We both got a beer flight too, and found all four choices to be really good! I will definitely come back here when I'm tired of options at Great Wolf. I'd be interested in trying their sandwiches, as I saw a couple people with French Dips that looked really good.

Last weekend was the second time my family & I visited Talking Cesar Restaurant, this time with my…read moremom with us (from out of town). We were excited, greeted nicely and were sat down pretty quickly. Then it took a turn. Our waiter took alittle while to get to us. Once he did, he was basically rushing to get our order. 20 mins later came back with our water and my husbands Bourbon Flight. This is me by the way looking at my photo album to track the time. 25 mins later our appetizer came and they were delish. We had ordered Garlic Parmesan Wings and Giant Pretzel. We waited over an hour and our waiter finally comes back to tell us that due to a Big Table outside our food is running behind, we said that's fine. 30 mins later, he comes back and tells us he mistakenly did not put our orders in and he takes full accountability but the fact that he only placed 1/2 of order and realized it an hour and a half later and waited 30 mins passed to tell us was beyond acceptable. We had a 1 year old and a 2.5 year old babies with us, we got there at 5:15pm and left at 8pm with no Main Course, we decided to leave and they offered to give us our main dishes for free and that had to pay for our apps and drinks. At that point, we weren't even hungry anymore- we were more upset than hungry. Word of Advise- don't dismiss a table of 5 for a table of 20. That party of 20 already includes 16%-18% Gratuity on their Tab, whereas a table of 5 could be giving you 20%-25% Gratuity for yourself only & not to have to share with other servers esp. if you are given cash. That table of 5 could sit there for hours just sitting and chatting and won't turn the tables over to new guest, whereas a table of 5 can eat, enjoy their meal, give good tip and leave within an hour and a half. And you'll have new table instantly, more money for you. To the kitchen staff, don't walk past your guests when they're asking you a question and as if they didn't exist. I'd hate to think it's Race Discrimination because we were the only Asians there but that's definitely how it felt.

On our way back north, we stopped by Mount Olympus Brewery. It was quite quiet, especially since it was a Sunday and not many people were there. We were just me and two other friends, so we decided to sit at the bar and have a few drinks. The place was fairly quiet, and they had a TV in the bar area, which was pretty cool. We ended up watching the NBA Finals game seven. The servers were amazing--down-to-earth, very personable, and they made us feel very welcome. Maybe because it wasn't that many people there, but anyway, I don't think that was an issue. There were great people there. They had plenty of options on draft and bottled/ canned , but I sampled two stouts on draft. The one that I liked the most was the Blood of Hades, which is a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout that aged for 12 months. I really enjoy the flavors of bourbon, char, and chocolate, hence the vanilla, and combined with bursting flavors of cinnamon, spice, and dark chocolate. It's by far earned its place in my top 5% of styles that I've drunk in multiple regions. I should definitely return here in the near future and indulge some more because this place seems pretty cool. It's very quiet and peaceful. I recommend coming to Mount Olympus Brewery if ever in Aberdeen.

Then I saw the concerts, the art nights, the craft nights. It really is a social space with a ton of personality and the service is excellent. Often, I am mean girled with small businesses. Heck, I am mean girled in big business but that sucks less because it's cheaper and more convenient. The women who work here are kind to me and my family, even when busy and overwhelmed. The vegan cod is excellent. It's become a team name with my husband. I am eating the broccoli salad right now and am literally making love to it with my mouth. Is it the sunflower seeds? The red onions? Man, it's refreshing, small and guilt free (unlike my double screwdriver). This is a positive space. They help the community, no matter what they look like coming through the door. Now if I remember from what I read correctly the folks that run this place were employees of Wild Man Brewing which had a location here (but closed). After studying the tap list it looks like what they carry here primarily is guest tap beers and meads from local breweries and meaderies and doesn't appear that they make their own like the predecessor of this space. But that's okay as it's a really cool place. The guest taps they have are good... nice and cold. The food is good as well. I got a pulled pork sandwich... something that I haven't had in a really long time. I enjoyed it... it was nice and tasty! It was a nice sized lunch along with the fries. The people that work here are nice and friendly and the space here is fun. Definitely a cool place to come and hang out in!
