    Corned Beef

In Shelton for a baseball game and stopped here for dinner! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looks cute from the outside and better on the inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Friendly staff and good food! I had the corned beef & cabbage- it comes with delicious potatoes with shaved Parmesan & green onions- nice touch and delicious biscuits- or Irish soda bread! My husband had the shepherds pie which he enjoyed! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Full bar and has a roof top bar/area as well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would come back when we are in town- place was almost full!

The food was okay I didn't like the shepherds pie and the bread definitely needed butter and some other stuff so I didn't eat the bread I would've choked. Just to eat here you need a ID even if you're not buying alcohol which is annoying and they don't accept my ID because it's not a Washington ID but it is very much is a valid ID that I use every else I also go to other pubs that don't require a ID as soon as I walk through the door we also wasn't dining at the bar I get it if it's a rule just doesn't make much sense the service was okay I suppose and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance was nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

To look at the food - you think it's going to be bland and okay. BUT...it's so amazing. Some of the best Irish food I've ever had. The meat melts in your mouth. That biscuit with their special honey butter is mouth watering. The Shepherds Pie is outta this world. I brought my mom back and she could even eat with lots of food allergies. Five stars!!

The Ming Tree Wonton - a deliciously Irish take on a Chinese classic.

If, while visiting the Wilde Irish Pub, you happen to see a door hanging from the ceiling, be sure to ask your server about it. I won't spoil it, but the story you'll hear is worth the time. As for food and drink, the Wilde Irish Pub is everything you could hope for from this kind of place, and more. From a spot-on Reuben to classic bangers and mash to decadent Guinness beef stew, every dish has that rich, satisfying finish that hits just right when you're looking for good Irish fare. The Ming Tree wontons are an unexpected (but delicious) take on a menu item you might not otherwise expect to see here - not to be missed. Just like a surprising door hanging from the ceiling, finding an Irish pub that pays close attention to the food it serves and delivers delight on every plate is a worthwhile surprise in Shelton.

What a little surprise in this little logging town . Delicious Irish food, whiskey and draft beers a plenty . The wedge was my gold star , beef stew was ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and friendly![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next time I'm getting the beer flight !!

Hands down our top restaurant experience! The food was delicious, but our favorite part was amazing, bubbly, personable, sweet server Brandy! I had a fish and chips and my husband had hot honey wings. Brandy brought us different sauces to try the delicious cut in house garlic Parmesan french fries. Outstanding service!!! We are bummed we don't live here - otherwise we would have came here every day! Thank you, Brandy for making us feel like a part of the family!

Pork belly in Maple Bourbon glaze over Colcannon

What a great find on a snowy cold day. Came through town midday to meet a friend and do some work. Found a quiet corner table and we ordered a Smithwicks and a really tasty refreshing mocktail and fell heavy for this incredible pork belly. Sooo glad we decided to share one, there's now way either of us could finish it alone. Huge chunks of juicy tender pork belly, caramelized edges, thick glaze reduction. It was absolute heaven. The colcannon was just the perfect accent. Excellent friendly and efficient service made this a place I will definitely bring more friends to. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tuck right along the main drag of Shelton, this place is a gem.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Delicious food and well made drinks! We stopped in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the appetizers and drinks. Highly recommend the fried onion and the cocktails.

Don't put something like this on tables! Gross

Been coming here for several months as there simply aren't that many choices and the food has been fantastic each time. Depending on when you come and who is waiting on you, however can make big difference. Today I ordered my usual Old Fashioned which was great but served in glass with visible crack that I saw after one sip then called over our waitress. She asked if I just wanted it poured into new glass. No! How about an apology and entirely new drink? Got the new drink but really disappointed. Also beware of bottled condiments- someone isn't doing their job keeping them fresh. Come on WIP! You can do better!

Made a delicious mocktail for me

Pros: Chill lounge/sitting area at the front corner with sofas, a low bar (accessibility friendly) and board games. Big tables to accommodate groups and various bar seating. Large brewery menu screens with large range and the food looked good. Tbh we came for brews so can't comment on food. The Wildman Beer brand was so-so. Some better than others! Cons: FOH staff interaction. Why we love pubs/breweries is because of the chill, friendly, conversational flow of FOH; their knowledge of the beers and/or cocktails, their passion for sharing it with new customers so they come back again and again ... this vibe fell short at Wildman. TL;DR Good for a basic group of people looking for a brewery experience in town with room for large groups. But when I saw that they opened up a location in Olympia and Steve and I were going to Olympia for a show it made perfect sense to go to this new location. Downtown where our show was is super walkable and this brewery is right there. When we went in what escaped my attention at the Raymond location was that I was particularly impressed with their own mead selection. And the mead did not disappoint in the slightest. The first mead I had was their Oak Aged Classic Mead. Such fantastic balance in body and the oak flavor was truly impressive! I got another mead from the list, the Sneaky Bastard Meer. It's called meer I believe due to the five different kinds of hops they put into it. Great floral and honey flavored highlights! Our experience here was excellent! Steve enjoyed his drink selections as well! Definitely returning for more mead enjoyment!

We've eaten here several times over the years, this was the first time we eat dinner here. Fam. Let me tell you, the very reasonable lunch size portions? They're significantly bigger on the dinner menu. Almost disturbingly so Being able to get a selection of interesting regional beers is always a draw, tonight was no exception. And the pretty good lunch menu is expanded for the dinner hour - as well as the portion sizes being expanded. I ordered the fish and chips, my partner ordered the bar steak (which was New York strip), and her daughter ordered the salmon burger with fries. Because it was a special, we also got a giant order of poutine. Despite being in almost at closing, the service was absolutely spectacular. We very nearly had the place to ourselves, so the overall vibe was very homey and welcoming. As noted, the portions were enormous. I opted to finish my fish at the expense of the chips. My partner wound up with a significant take home portion as did her daughter. Couldn't possibly have been happier about our decision to stop in. Since we seem to have a new Greener in the family, I'm sure that we will be in Olympia significantly more frequently. And frankly, I am pretty happy about that, just based on being able to stop in here on the regular again.

We walked in at about 5:30 on a Thursday and it was busy but still had a few open tables. We were greeted warmly by our server. She recommended the blackberry margarita and we both said yes please! It was delicious. I got the Juicy Lucy and my kid got the Chili Burger which is open faced. They both were pretty good. The total before tip came to $74. The reason I knocked a star off is because the few available tables when we arrived were all dirty, one with plates and cups still. Another thing I see now looking at my receipt is that the burgers were both 50 cents more than what it says on the menu. $1 more is not huge but I don't like the feeling of the "wool being pulled over my eyes". Especially when the burgers are already $20 each. That's a lot of money even during these days we are living in. Will probably come back here, I might need to hit the casino on the way there to pad my pocketbook first though.

Dry and hard and without much life left in it. You could have found something like it out there among the sagebrush after a long summer and not been surprised. I used A.1. A man should never have to use A.1 on a steak. There are things a man accepts and there are things he should not accept. But I had paid for the steak and I was hungry. So I used it. The vegetables were sautéed in something that had met teriyaki sauce and had liked the meeting. They tasted of teriyaki. Everything tasted of teriyaki. The vegetables had no other plans. I ordered an Old Fashioned. The bartender made it like a man who had been trained to pour things that came already mixed. He did not make the drink so much as release it from its bottle and put it in front of me. I drank it. It was not an Old Fashioned I would remember. The servers were having a good time. There was a reunion going on near the bar. Maybe school friends. Maybe people who had worked there before. Maybe both. They were happy to see one another. They had more interest in their friends than they did in the man trying to fight his dinner for any semblance of enjoyment. The room was trying to be two things. It wanted to be a golf course clubhouse where men could talk about their scores and the price of things. It also wanted to be a working man's place where nobody cared what your score was. It had the look of both. It belonged to neither. Outside, the last light was leaving the golf course. The fairways went dark first and then the trees. A cart moved slowly across the distance with its lights on. Inside, the reunion was still going on. I stood for a moment and watched the cart disappear into the dark. Then I went to the car. There are good evenings on a golf course. This experience felt more akin to a bad night at an Applebees.
