Banana Split
Baylee-Anne N.

I love this little ice cream shop and we visit it every single time we visit the beach, rain or shine. It honestly always has a line and you can expect to wait a few minutes. Usually, even when it's busy you'll find a seat either inside or out but it's likely your table will be sticky and messy. It's not a perfect experience but, the workers are always friendly and the ice cream is great. We love ordering the banana split so that we get a little of a few types of ice creams to try. Their cones, mini donuts and drinks are also good. They are busy and you can tell but, it's the best ice cream you'll find in the area.

Cotton Candy Ice Cream

So my boss yelled at me while I was at work and what's the best thing after that? Ice cream! I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised to find Umpqua Ice Cream! And in my flurry of dried up tears, I picked the most obnoxiously bright ice cream. The cotton candy. I was pleasantly more surprised to find the taste subtle and not overly fake. The place is your typical ice cream joint with friendly staff and plenty of tables. There's an arcade of some sort attached. Definitely worth trying if you're in town!

It was ok. It was nice to have an ice cream place near the beach house we stay at. Service was friendly enough. They had a good amount of flavors to Choose from. Line wasn't long.

This place was packed but worth the wait! It was a busy Sunday but the line moved really quick for how many large groups were being served! My partner and I were so overwhelmed by the number of flavors we both got a banana split so we could try our favorites! We tried the following flavors: - Kona Coffee - Salted Caramel - Mint Chocolate Chip - Huckleberry Heaven - Bordeaux Cherry - Death by Chocolate Every single flavor was amazing and high quality tasting! My favorite was the Huckleberry and his was the Salted Caramel. Seating is limited so be prepared to wait for a seat or even sitting in your car! Overall worth the not so long wait and the staff was great. We'll go back next time we visit!

Lemon meringue ice cream

The ice cream at this place is the real deal. I went with the lemon meringue pie flavor. It had bits of pie crust folded into it, which made it absolutely sublime. I sampled the rocky road, and holy hell that chocolate ice cream was top notch! If you notice a long line, don't despair. It's worth it.

Double scoop triple chocolate

I thought this place was great. Right as I walked in, I was able to walk up to the ice cream counter and place my order. I got the triple chocolate, and loved it. I believe it had white chocolate, milk chocolate, and chocolate chips. I thought it was amazing. I hope to come back to this place sometime

Brownie Sundae and 2 scoops of cookie sough

How could this place be any less than 10 stars? The wait is llllooonnnggggg but isn't that a sign??? I went both Fri and Sat night around 9:30 during Hog Wild 2019 and it was slammed!!!! I easily waited 20+ minutes to get my sweet treats, so if you do come PLEASE be patient! They offer tons of flavors... You need to read all the boards with flavors bc some of the flavors are not in the case. Also, you can just ask for a specific flavor and they will let you know of they have it or not. The girls who work here are adorable, really sweet and quirky, and they seem to enjoy their jobs and making the customers happy. The ice cream is delicious, and the portions are HUGE!!!!!!! They offer a variety of shakes, malts, sundaes, scoops, cones, and a few non dairy sorbet options. Bc I don't do dairy I got the Raspberry Sorbet in a brownie sundae, which includes a brownie, 3 types of ice cream and any toppings you want. I just got the one flavor, hot fudge and sprinkles. I was HOOKED UP! Thus why I came back Saturday night and got it all over again:) I also got 2 scoops of cookie dough for the FIL, my nephew had 1 scoop cookie dough 1 and scoop choc brownie. My hubs had 1 scoop mac nut fro yo and.... Maybe the pecan in a waffle cone! We all mowed down our ice cream and it was TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! You all know im a health nut and for me to come here both nights in a row for this treat says alot. I did stop in the other ice cream shop at OC and while it smelled delicious.... They just didnt have the non dairy flavor selection and the feel just wasn't the same. If you only have time for one ice cream experience at OS I would recommend Peppermint Parlor no doubt! Suggestion.... Girls should wear name tags so we YELPERS can give shout outs! The team was soooo sweet and I was sooo impressed with their customer service skills especially under so much pressure! Tips... Shakes seemed to be a popular item here... They come in 21 or 32 oz... So I would suggest sharing! Brownie sundae is outstanding... Banana split looked awesome... They HOOK you up so be prepared if you order 2 scoops... You can sample as many flavors aa you want... Ask for specific flavors if you don't see it on a menu (they might have it in the back)... Be patient and don't come in a hurry... Prices are resonable... YUM!!!!

Cotton Candy!

This was again the finale of our most recent birthday tour of Ocean Shores. The two young people working the counter provided our family top notch customer service! We were greeted with a smile when we came in, we weren't rushed and the young woman was available as soon as we knew what we wanted and her teammate came over to help get our four cones. The birthday boy selected the bubble gum flavor with Chiclets in the ice cream and he asked me if he could spit out the gum onto a napkin to save for the end; the young man walked over and gave us a cup to use instead. I keep mentioning they were "young" because I'm so used to having to make excuses for terrible service with a certain age group because, you know, they probably are still learning how to provide customer service? Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised. They were attentive, worked as a team and were kind to us. I can't wait to come back in 6 months. I got the Almond Fudge Espresso Explosion again, my daughter got Strawberry and my partner got Cookie Dough. They were all, again, delicious.

Black licorice and chocolate peanut butter cup
Richard W.

Had a pleasant visit here. The staff wears masks properly. I waited outside the door as it was busy with a gaggle of kids and moms inside. We were staying at a local hotel and found this place. The black licorice ice cream intrigued me. They were willing to divide up a one scope order into two different flavors. I got black licorice and chocolate peanut butter cup. My wife got a scoop of pistachio almond and rocky road. It was quality ice cream. Glacier brand. The clerk evidently charged me for two scoops but that was okay as I'm sure their business is down due to covid 19. The scoops are very generous. My wife says she would've gotten one scoop if she had known. We took a 3 minute drive west to the ocean and parked on the sand facing the ocean then took a walk by the surf. I recommend it!

I spent roughly $300 a week on groceries conservatively speaking. The pricing of the products are higher in the Summer and tourist season. This sucks for the locals but it is common with all businesses in Ocean Shores. I recommend shopping at Costco for your staples before going on vacation in Ocean Shores. It's not uncommon to pay almost $10 for a bag of chips. Just a warning. The service is a hit or miss depending on the time of day and season. The staff can get tired of tourists and not be as friendly. The selection is limited due to the remote location of Ocean Shores. This means if you are looking for special ethnic foods and vegetables, you maybe out of luck. Bring these items from home. I am SE Asian and the selection was lacking as far as fresh herbs and greens go. I was missing many sauces over the years for stir fry like sesame seed oil, hunan, and chili oil. I drove to Olympia for Jasmine rice purchased 100lbs at a time. The deli is pricey but there is only one McDonalds in town and no other fast food options. Most the restauarants are $20 or more per entree. Hence the deli fried chicken and warn foods will look less expensive. The JoJos friend chicken is popular along with the potatoes wedges.

Great prices and a wonderful welcoming environment we always have a great time as a whole family. Yesterday another adult guest was extremely rude to the owner after her son clearly broke a controller IN FRONT of everyone. The owner never asked her to pay for it just informed her the rules did say they needed to offer to help pay for the break, or leave. Neither was asked of her. She cussed the owner out, told him it wasn't fair and that she hadn't read the rules. This was her fault, but she went to every extreme to avoid responsibility. She decided to leave on her own but first wasout of the room you were cussing in front of the other customers and saying loudly you weren't paying for it. You then tried leaving again as Jah walked out from the back. He wasn't going to stop you from leaving, but instead you took this as an opportunity to say again how you shouldn't be responsible. You explaind that you hadn't read the rules before entering. You didn't notice them. When you first walk into the restaurant there is an area where you order the meal yourself from the menu provided. The meal is then delivered to your table. When we were ready to eat I started to get up to go order food, but the bartender offered to do it for us, which she isn't required to do as part of her duties.
