What stood out most was how much he actually knew, he explained why certain trees needed to be trimmed a certain way and at a certain time of year, not just "we'll cut it and see." The crew showed up when they said they would, worked fast without cutting corners, and hauled away all the debris so we weren't left with a mess in the yard. They even took down a couple of overgrown trees and cleaned up some hedges along the fence line, and the whole property looks so much better now. Everyone on the crew was easy to deal with and clearly knew what they were doing. We've already got a couple more trees we want looked at and Cal Line will be who we call.

I love these trees and they were part of why we bought the house. I wanted them to be tastefully trimmed so they look natural while also making sure they're safe and we're not going to have dead branches fall when the rainy season hits. Alejandro's quote was very reasonable, and his brother and the crew was able to do some other tree work with a minimal increase to the baseline quote. They did such a good job I want to have them back to take care of some other trees that I wasn't considering prioritizing, including a shared tree with the neighbor. Thank you for the great work!

I recently hired Julian Tree Care for a fairly large tree-trimming job in our steeply sloped yard…read more We have several large, mature trees and a lot of thick vegetation, all of which had been overdue for attention. I spoke with a few different contractors and received three quotes. Two were in a similar range, including Julian's; the third was much more expensive. I chose Julian because the business seemed well managed, and the results did not disappoint. Noe was the person I worked with. He was on time, easy to communicate with, and prompt in replying. He was knowledgeable about his work and quickly identified what needed to be done in each area of the yard as we walked around my yards. On the day of the job, eight crew members arrived right on time: four climbers and four ground crew members. While a few did not speak much English, others did, so communication was never a problem. They worked hard for about eight hours and completed the job by the end of the day. Noe stopped by shortly after noon to make sure the work was meeting my expectations. When I mentioned a few additional items I wanted addressed - such as clearing more of the brush in the backyard - he quickly spoke with the crew and had them taken care of. The entire team was easy to communicate with and clearly knew what they were doing. For example, one of the trees had branches hanging over the power line leading into my house. They trimmed it just enough to clear the line and leave a beautiful canopy without overdoing it. I was impressed. They also did a thorough cleanup afterward. I am very happy that I hired the right team. The trees and yard look so much better and healthier now. Highly recommended!

I also had about 100' of oleander that was overgrown and needed to be trimmed down. Without knowing much about trees its hard to know what needs to be done other than my trees look bad and i have bunch of branches hanging over a busy street which makes me nervous... the other guys who came over were asking me what I needed. Erick pretty much told me what I needed. Most importantly though, Erick noticed one major trunk branch that was hollowed out and deteriorated. This same trunk line was hanging over the street. After looking at it, it was pretty obvious and I don't know how the other guys didn't notice that so it really spoke to his thoroughness. After pointing out a few other items I needed, it was obvious Erick was the most knowledgeable and qualified person to work on my trees. Erick's crew came on 2 separate occasions and quickly finished the job. After each visit, you would never know they were even there because they cleaned up so well. Personally, if i need any more tree service Erick will be the only person I'll call moving forward. I would have no qualms recommending him to anyone i know.
