They trimmed a large pine tree branch that was hanging over my roof as well as a few other smaller branches. The result looked very good and the tree actually looked better. They also trimmed 4 fan palms. I am very happy with the results. I needed to take care of my pine overgrowth to satisfy my insurance company and Martin made sure to trim the tree strategically. He was the first to respond to my request for quotes and I hired them based not only on the pricing but his exact strategy on how he would do the trimming, which would satisfy my insurance company without butchering the tree. He used a laser pointer to show me exactly where he would cut. He had good communication skills and was very personable. His helper was also friendly and personable. We needed extensive pruning of 2 large trees near property lines and removal of a medium size tree. We checked references and got quotes from several companies and selected Nice View Tree Care for the job. We knew they would do a good job based on results on a huge tree down the street. The crew arrived on time and reviewed the job details and then got to work. There was a crew of 4 led by Manuel that worked on the pruning and removal the entire time and one other person who came to grind out the stump of the removed tree. We worked with Manuel to "fine tune" the pruning. The team worked hard and efficiently. Clean-up was thorough. We were very pleased with the results. The pruning was very well done and a huge improvement and the price was right. One of my neighbors thought the job was so good that he is hiring them for his own projects. I received brochure in mail from this company - " Nice View - Tree Care,"I called and set up an appointment for them to give me an estimate of removal of three pine trees in my back yard - behind and very close to my in ground Gunite pool. Martin arrived - we discussed what I needed and then he preceded to suggest ways of doing the job - caution with the pool, ect. and at that time had agreed on a price. I told him that I am getting estimates and would get back to him. I called Martin a couple of days later and asked if he could come back out and talk about the job again - he said yes. December 2, he arrived back at the house - we talked over job and at that point I decided to hire him - paperwork was signed - insurance talked about and date set for December 7, 2021. Martin, along with his crew of 3 guys arrived here at my home around 0900. They preceded to set up brand new tarp over entire pool and tied tarp down. The Evergreen trees all 3 are very close to the in ground Gunite pool. Martin and his peer - Martin, started climbing two of the trees - went pretty much to the top - tied off and came back to the bottom of base of the tree and started cutting limbs off going up the trunk of the tree - as they got to the middle - started tying off limbs and lowering to the ground - using ropes - then Ricardo, and Francisco would pull limbs out to the road. The two ground guys - Francisco, Ricardo- strong - Professional !! The two, " Martins," in the trees - strong - professional !! When they left the place it looked amazing - The tarp, was left over the pool, ( grinding of the stumps tomorrow ) but the debris, smaller limbs, everything was clean ! Arriving tomorrow to do the grinding of the base of all three trees. Crew arrived today to remove 3 stumps. Good job with removal ! Can't speak more highly of the job the Martin and his crew did at our home. They removed a 60 ft pine, 15 ft Japanese Maple and trimmed our palm and olive tree. Do not us this contractor!! Scheduled an appointment with Martin for an estimate for trimming 2 large trees in my backyard. He never showed up and never called. 3 days later as I was on my way to work I get a call on my cell which I recognize as Nice View Tree Care. Martin arrived in Vallejo on time on a Sat. and was able to give me a quote, in writing, along with showing me his biz license and insurance coverage, with exp. date. I agreed and confirmed the service date for the following Wed. Again, he and another worker were on time (8:30-9 AM) and completed everything per the quote, hauled away all tree limbs/branches, raked the driveway and lawn for leaves plus at the end used the blower. Martin is also knowledgeable about the names of trees, bushes and plants that one has, able to recommend fertilizer and due to lack of rain, encouraged me to not only water the plants but use the hose to wash down trees, bush and plants to eliminate the thick spider webs this year. Martin and his helper did a superb professional job responding to my need to remove a tree that was a hazard to my property as well as my neighbors.
