The first tree job we needed a few months ago came up so quickly and Louis came by the house right away and handled it same day. And again, this weekend, Louis came by and tackled a bigger tree that was too close to the house. They did a perfect job. Big high branches lowered by ropes so close to our house and other very nice older trees that we want to keep growing. I thought for sure, we'd have a few damages, but no. Louis and his team did great. Highly recommended. read more

I have been using Louis and his team for quite a while now. At least once a year, I have him trim all my palm trees. Lately he's also been doing the large tree in my front yard. He does a beautiful job every time. They very careful and the cleanup is amazing. They're very careful not to drop the palm branches down on any of my glass sculptures I have underneath. Their prices are reasonable and their work is excellent. They haul away all the debris I could not be happier!! read more

After some extremely windy weather, one of my large trees in the backyard uprooted and fell. It was Sunday evening when I first saw it-- not the best time to be looking for someone to fix a major tree problem. My first choice was to contact Louis. I had used him twice before for tree trimming and was impressed by his work and cleanup. I sent some photos, and he said he would be out Monday morning. He showed up on time and we agreed on a fair price. He and his crew started work. They worked quickly, safely, and efficiently. A couple of hours later, the tree was gone. He came back the following day to grind the stump. They did an outstanding job to clean up and dispose of the branches and trunk. I heartily recommend him and his crew for any tree trim or removal projects you might have. read more

I first engaged with Louis Tree service in 2022, was very pleased with his service and with the ease of working with him. We realized recently that our 75 year old silver maple is continuing to die off and should be pruned for safety and to extend its life. Another tree service knocked on our door and gave me an estimate. I thought of Louis and knew I had to give him and his team a chance to bid the job. Glad I did!! Louis came right over, discussed what should be done, listened to what I wanted to achieve, and gave me a price that was more than 50% lower than the other tree service. Today they came on time and finished the job, cleaning up the site upon completion. Basically, exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Louis Tree Service read more

Louis tree service is professional, reliable, fair price, tidy, efficient and trustworthy. He just finished a large job around my house and I am extremely pleased with the results. This is the second time he worked on my property and I am glad I called him again. I recommend Louis and his men for all tree service needs. read more

Louis missed 2 estimate appointments in a row. That's 4 hours of my time and 2 days of rearranged schedules to accommodate the estimate windows, with no estimate to show for it. The first appointment was made using the Yelp interface. I selected 12-2. When he didn't show up, I texted him and he called to say that his daughter made the error - she said it for a later time in the day. We rescheduled for today, 2 days later, 10-12. He was a no-show. There was no communication. If an estimate is going to be ignored or mismanaged twice in a row, I don't plan to take the risk with actually giving them my business. read more

Great team of guys, easy to work with. I got a very reasonable quote from Louis for tree trimming, brush removal and stump grinding, with a lot of the work being on a very steep hill. They showed up on time and got it all done with professional equipment including a beast of a stump grinder. They also did a good job of final clean up the small debris (leaves, twigs, dust, etc.) from around their wood chipper where other services I've used have not. I will certainly look them up again as needed. read more

Louis Tree Service was recommended by my longtime landscaper for a decaying willow tree I needed removed. They did a great job at a good price and I definitely recommend their services. read more

I would give 6 stars if I could. Louis picked up the phone right away, gave me a rough estimate, and was over to do a full estimate the same day (ended up being much less than he quoted on the phone!). He started work 2 days later to remove 2 palm trees (one that was leaning into my house) and trim the 2 out of control trees in the front. The work was SUPER fast! I got up and made breakfast when I first heard chainsaws. The work was done by the time I finished and went outside. Louis worked along-side a full crew to make quick work of the job and ensure the site was thoroughly cleaned at the end. If you need any tree removal or trimming services, dont even waste your time shopping around. Louis will get the job done quickly, far cheaper than the competitors, and to an extremely high standard. I could not be happier. read more

I again was in need of Louis's tree service. His team came out on time and took care of a tree that's roots were destroying my yard. The price was reasonable. Louis is very reasonable compared to other tree service companies. He works alongside his crew in cutting and trimming down my trees. Super knowledgeable about oaks. I wanted a tree to be trimmed even more and he was very accommodating. He charged a bit more but even with this extra bit, his overall invoice was still less than the other estimates received. Since my former tree guy retired, Louis has become my go to tree guy now. So glad I found him! read more

Louis is a stand up guy. His team is fun to watch and they are really good at what they do. Communicating with Louis was easy, and he was prompt and on time on both days that I hired him. His team made sure to clean the debris properly after the job and hauled away everything with no problems. I recommend Louis to anyone seeking an honest and friendly professional. Louis Tree Service - Happy Oak Tree - Tree Services Near Me

Mr. Louis is an amazing person. Professional, down to earth, knows his business, on schedule, and very reasonable price. They cut a huge pine tree that was sick. It took them two days to cut down. When I left to work, all I saw was branches and stumps all over the property. "Oh my!" I thought. Not going to worry. Came home, unbelievable! everything was picked up and left naturally cleaned. How I found out about his service? Word of mouth. He does my neighbor's tree (to the right) and through this neighbor, he made business with another neighbor (to the left) and myself. Does great work! Totally recommend! One to add to my contacts and of course...word of mouth are the best recommendations. Totally recommend Mr. Louis for tree cutting. read more

Louis came to my house on time and it was very easy to communicate what I needed done. He also made suggestions and was very knowledgable about the trees and growth pattern. His price was competitive, reasonable, and gave me a price right away and invoice emailed by that same night. He also started the job the very next day and was complete with it the following day. He listened to my questions and remarks and did the job according to what I wanted. I would definitely use his services again and tell my friends about it. read more

Louis and his crew were great! Louis responded quickly to my request for a quote, was able to come by the same day I inquired, gave me the verbal estimate, and followed up with a written shortly after. I reached out about a week later, Louis worked easily with my scheduling and was able to come out early and knocked the palm tree down in about an hour. Crew was efficient and professional. The guy that climbed and fell the tree was definitely spot on with his cuts, everything was coming down on my side of the fence as to not bother my neighbor. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away nicely. Highly recommend, and would use again for some other trees I need trimmed back. read more

From the first time Luis showed up to give a quote he was super friendly and genuine. His quote blew everyone else's out of the water. He thought of our children's safety as one of our trees was splitting. His workers showed up on time and did the job as discussed. I thought it was really nice for Luis to warn us about leaving the branches and it being a lot of brush for us to burn. He recommended for us to have him take it. We kept it all after all, and realized he was right - now we are stuck with a yard full of branches he did a great job at such a great budget. We would definitely recommend him to family, friends, and neighbors. read more

I couldn't be happier with the work Louis and crew did cutting back our overgrown 30' eugenia's and removing a dead tree from the yard. It was a small job for them, I'm sure, but Louis quickly called back and came by the same day to give me a very reasonable estimate. He was unable to fit us in at the end of the next day, as he'd originally thought, but promised to be here first thing next morning. They showed up on time and made quick work of it. Louis is very personable, and the crew friendly and very skilled--they managed to carefully do their job without further damage to the very rotten fence which is right up against the tree line they were working on. Highly recommend. read more
