So I love McAlister's because the food is fresh and they have healthy options, and this location is really close to my house. They are a little pricey but I knew that going in. This last time I went, I was a little disappointed. I got the 2 for 2 and because I don't eat meat. I chose not to get chicken, and I added avocado on my berry salad, but I had to pay a dollar which felt like a lot, because I did the 2 for 2, you get a much smaller portion, of a salad. I also got their veggie chili, which I love that they offered a vegetarian option. Now the first strike was as I was leaving I asked about the chocolate chip I had ordered for my daughter. If I hadn't asked I would have had to come back because they forgot to put it in the bag. When I got home, I was ready to eat but I almost went back (again) because when I looked at my salad it looked like they forgot my avocado. But as I got further, into the light I saw 3 little slivers of avocado. It definitely felt like I paid for way more than I got. Will I come back? Yes. Is their food normally good? Yes., However this last experience, definitely did not deserve a four star or higher. read more

Time after time again and again y'all always screw up my order. Well my daughter talked me into to ordering and Again y'all screwed it up! I ordered a McAlister's club. It's missing half the sandwich! There was only 2 pieces of bread and just a little of the meat! It's supposed to be a club with 3 pieces of bread and meat and toppings for top and bottom. To the crew working late afternoon on Feb 1. Way to be excellent in spite of likely not having enough staff. You guys are legendary. I've never had a bad time here, there are days the staff seems more stressed than others but they keep it professional. I'm guessing they have good management at this location because the competition is tough here. The gal working the front was hustling but friendly the whole time through. My husband and I think the sandwiches are good, however I had ordered a side salad with the Caesar dressing. At first I thought it was sour because it has lemon, then after I ate some of it and went to rest I got food poisoning. I quickly got up and threw up the salad. I know it was the salad because I saved it in the fridge for after work, and it was the only thing I ate after work. The Spud Max at any McAlister's Deli is spot on everytime! It's filled with bacon, turkey, ham, olives, chives, and cheese with butter and sour cream on the side. It's comforting, filling and satisfying. It's my go-to meal when I have no idea what to eat, sick or in this case... had been on the road for 12 hours. ;D We stopped in at 9pm on a Thursday. This location is just off the highway, which makes it very easy to grab-in-go or sit and eat. It's a clean enviroment with friendly service. There are healthy and not so healthy options (shhh! haha). Personally, I think this is super great when you have more than one appetite to please. First time visitor; will return. Clean, airy, and quiet ambiance. Great range of choices in sandwiches, salads, soups, and potatoes. Enjoyed a very tasty cup of chili together with a French Dip w/au jus sandwich & sweet tea. Ample & tasty ingredients on a baguette bread role. I went to McAlister's Deli and the speed at the counter was great. My sandwich tasted good and I ordered soup. The tables were clean and there was a worker sweeping. This store is always freezing cold, but I would rather it be cold than hot (just take a sweater). The tea is always fresh and they have big cups. I took one star off because my soup wasn't hot, was watery, and they didn't have any crackers or sweet and low fake sugar for the tea. read more

Being from Alaska and coming to Texas to help my mom with her surgery, I wanted a salad instead of hospital food. McAlister's comes highly recommended and I walked in 1/13/22 for a takeout order of a garden salad with avocado. The girl behind the counter was not friendly and when I said I'd never been there before she just looked at me. I paid, tipped and waited. I left with my salad and didn't check until I opened it back at the hospital. There was only 2 bites of avocado in the whole salad which I paid $2 for. I turned the salad over and over and that was it. Very, very disappointing for my first visit. Probably not going back but someone needs to fix the service. read more

Unfortunately we had the exact same issues, our order was wrong and the staff, to include the store Manger, was extremely rude and argumentative. *Updating my review* They have UPPED their game! Holy wow! My husband, 9 month old and I went here for lunch today and we were SO impressed at all of the improvements! It looked like they were finally under new management (saw multiple management staff running around the restaurant today and the old GM's name was scratched off the door). The employees were constantly roaming, cleaning tables, taking plates away, refilling drinks, etc. We noticed as soon as we walked in how much cleaner it was in the restaurant as well! We were greeted my a sweet man at the front as he held the door open for us. As soon as my husband sat down with our son, an employee asked if he needed a high chair and then immediately went and grabbed one for him. Our drinks never got below half full! When our food came out, it was steaming hot! my soup stayed hot/warm the entire time we were there too, which is super impressive! So so so happy that this place is finally up to most McAlisters standards now and we can actually start enjoying more meals here again! read more

Following a bad experience here (hence a bad review), I was contacted, my issues were understood and addressed, apologies were given, compensation was made, and so I decided to try this location again. This visit was much different - in a very good way. This was the McAlister's I know and love. My order was 100% correct, everything was very fresh and tasty, and the staff was super friendly. Thank you to McAlister's for caring enough to reach out to me about my experience. It's rare these days that anyone puts that much effort into understanding their customer's experiences and concerns and does their best to fix it and make it right. Service - HORRIBLE! I placed an online order for curbside; my order was to be ready within 10 mins - I clicked "I'm here" on the email (3) times no one came out with my order. I sat over 20 mins, no order. I decided to go inside to pick up my order. The employees were sitting around; talking, playing, eating - I asked for my order and told them the scenario about placing online, curbside, etc they acted bad if they had no clue of what I was referring to. But they decided to check and my order had been sitting for the longest. I was furious. I called, spoke with Ashley (mgr) refused to give me the cooperate office number, district manager, or general manager's info. I will never use this location again, horrible service and employees. I seem to only come here when family is in town. We tried to beat the Sunday lunch rush by coming in before noon and luckily there was no line and several open tables. The girl who took our order seemed nice but when we asked about the rewards program- as we believe we have signed up previously- she was no help and did not know anything about it. We checked out the app and saw it has 2 stars so we decided not to bother. I went for the pick 2: garden fresh turkey and broccoli cheddar soup. My mom had the same. I was hoping to try the kale parmesean soup that is listed online but I was told they haven't carried it in quite awhile. I really liked how fresh tasting the sandwich was and the soup came out piping hot! Great combo together. My husband had the grilled chicken club with potato salad which he usually gets and didn't have any complaints. My dad had the smoky pepper jack turkey which he was impressed and suggested for me to try it next time. The food came out a lot quicker than previous times we have been in and maybe it was because we were before the big rush. They do have to-go orders with cubby holes where the food is ready to be picked up which is nice and makes it easy even if they are busy. read more

I did it online, from out of state, having had a previously terrible experience with Jimmy John's, I needed a team to do it right without exception, and be there on time for our business meeting. Caesar chicken wrap!!! I usually do not get the opportunity to eat lunch and I am so happy I did today. I was skeptical about having this wrap, but it came through today. It was tasty, juicy and filling. I had to add some red pepper ( I spicy food) but other than that it was delicious. I gave it 4 stars because the sea salt vinegar chips tasted like pickled pig feet . All jokes aside McAlister's Caesar chicken wrap is delicious. Tried this place for first time. Ordered on the app. Order was ready when I got there in under 10 minutes. Ordered 3 sandwiches & 2 sides. Orders were made as requested and taste was above average. When I arrived there we at least 5 employees just sitting around a far table. The young lady who helped me assured me there were napkins and forks in the bag.....Guess what NONE. Sandwiches were mediocre at best. Extremely skimpy on the meat especially for the price of the sandwich. Arby's puts on more meat on their sandwiches. The sides were absolutely horrible and certainly wouldn't eat them again. I have been here many different times, hoping it would get better, no such luck. It seems as if it is a requirement for the staff to be rude, and argumentative. They have a hard time getting the order correct, and if you say something to them they just want to argue with you. The food is not worth the price you pay. I attempted to order my favorites... Choose 2 - warm Chicken BLT-A (w/avocado) & pecan berry salad (no, chicken). This salad is hands down the best salad and dressing I've ever had. Also, Carrot Cake & Potato Salad. They no longer have pecan berry salad, so I tried the Savanah salad and it was terrible and bitter. They no longer have carrot cake. So what I had left was the sandwich & potato salad. The potato salad was excellent. They left off the avocado from my sandwich and it was cold not warm. This location was very slow and the main reason was the constant chatter among employees. I don't know who the manager was or if they were even present cause this should not happen at a place like McAllisters and on a Thursday night. I order from McAlister's frequently, and there have been missing items a few times. Those items never get refunded or credited. Two nights ago I ordered my usual order of two bowls of potato soup with bread bowls. Uber eats delivered our food, and both bread bowls were molded. I called the manager and waited several minutes on hold to speak with her. I found it odd when the person answered the phone call, she questioned me asking if my call was related to Ethan. I replied no, and eventually the manager sincerely apologized. She said she was going to throw the rest of the bowls left in the trash. I went on Facebook yesterday and wrote a review, and sent an email with pictures to the email address the manager provided; however, still do not have a reply from the GM or higher. I felt that if this location serves moldy bread, this should be known. It disheartening the staff doesn't care enough to check the food before it leaves.
