I have been wanting to try Cava forever. But I am the only one in my family who is a Mediterranean fan. I finally made it happen today and I was thoroughly impressed. It is a little pricey, but you get a very good portion size. I built my own salad bowl and I had the salmon, two falafels, and lots of veggies. It was tasty, and fresh and can we talk about the pita bread?!?! Omg amazing!!! I am excited that they have a rewards program. I am hoping that I can keep coming without breaking the bank. read more

Love this place! I used to go to the Cava on Guad in Austin-next to UT Austin. I went there once a week, pretty much and felt sad when I moved out of Austin-because I wouldn't have my cava anymore. That being said, when this location was opened, I was very excited. The service here is great, with the workers being very helpful with new customers, walking them through the ordering process. I noticed that a bunch when I first started going here. The food is great, as usual, and I feel like the portions are bigger than other Cava locations I've visited. I love you Cava. The "person" behind the countrr who supposedly completed my order was so RUDE and arguementative when She was asking questions and blamed me for not understanding what she was asking with a fast rate of speech that was not clear to start with! She charged me extra for 5 pita chips which should already come with the order and then literally threw the items in the bag and then after I paid I did not want the eggplant dip to leak on my order and I told her she threw the items in and she then argued saying NO I DID NOT and when I asked for a receipt she said you said you didnt want it and then didnt hand me the receipt I asked if the print out was my receipt and what "SHE" said again was extremely RUDE and said "you"re the only one in here!" I told her she was argueing with a customer and she said NO I'm NOT She DOES. NOT deserve to work behind a service counter!!!!!! She was RUDE!!!! read more

UPDATE: husband got sick from their food. Original Post: Food was okay. The soda on the floor by the soda machine was so sticky that it took my flip off. The soda didn't have any taste. Although it was colored brown like cola, it tasted like soda water. The tables and seats were dirty. For two people, two meals, and one drink, it cost us $30. Not sure I'd go back. I'm quickly becoming a regular. The food is great. It at least feels like I'm being healthy, and the portions are generous. My disclaimer is I don't eat much, but I can generally get 2 meals from a chipotle burrito, and I can get 2 meals from the Pita or Bowl meal. The service was fast. They aren't super friendly, but definitely NOT rude. I wish there was more indoor seating. Outside is just too hot, and there isn't enough shade to keep it cool (but we do live in Texas) :-) Overall, I will keep Coming back and am grateful for this new quick dining option in Burleson! read more

Very skimpy on portion sizes here. When comparing to other bowls (e.g. Chipotle), the value just isn't there. I'd eat here alone once in a while for a quick lunch but you'd be breaking the back trying to feed a hungry family here. With the prices of everything going up, folks are looking for good value and this Cava location just doesn't provide the value I'm looking for in a fast casual experience. The food is generally solid and I've not had any negative experiences with staff but this will be a monthly treat as opposed to a weekly stop for lunch. Not great Cava, not great. read more

I hate writing this review. I LOVE Cava, it's one of my favorite spots. This location gives poor portions and really needs customer service work. I haven't gone inside, but I used the pick up lane. I was told there was no record of my paying for a drink, I showed the receipt, and was given a water cup. Just go to a different location or Torchy's next door. read more

Food was AMAZING!!!!! I got the build your own salad bowl and I made a mostly Greek salad with a few things added. The fresh drinks were SO good that I had the hardest time picking. The girl at the counter wore gloves to make our food, then handed us our cups with the gloves on, meaning food residue was all over the outside of the cup. One table didn't have a large amount of trash and crumbs on it. All others were dirty. The girl that "cleaned" the tables (after I asked if someone could come clean them) took dry napkins and wiped the trash into her hands. No disinfectant or sanitizing spray was sprayed at all. Not a good experience today at the Burleson location. Went in to order a Harissa bowl and was asked if i wanted the Harissa bowl special. The girl behind the counter said it was available for a limited time. I didn't know about this special so i simple said ok. As she started fixing my bowl, i pointed out that i wanted the Romaine lettuce. The manager overheard and quickly said "that's not on the special but I'll let you have it THIS time". Very snarly attitude (might i add from a manager). So, then they tried to give me spicy pita chips... i said can i have regular pita chips and the manager steps in again and nastily says "NO... that's not on the special". So i said... hey ya'll tried to sell me the special when i initially came in and asked for the Harissa bowl... finally i just said - never mind. The manager must not have heard me.. so she says again... That's not the special... then i said I'M NOT GETTING THE SPECIAL! Such rudeness from a manager. She could have done one of 2 things for great customer service - 1. Just switch out the lettuce/pita and said next time the special comes as is and explain what the special actually is before trying to sell it to a customer 2. Just kindly explain that the special is as is; sorry mam - no substitutions.. .but her attitude! I won't be coming back and I wonder why when i do go to this location... i never really see customers. Visited Cava last week and had a good experience with food and service. Today 5/18 at 3:00pm was a complete 180 on Service. I ordered a Spicy Chicken and Avocado Pita with no crumbled Feta. Alex was making the order and seemed indifferent and bored from the start. He started the first Pita but put regular chicken which I noticed and another employee pointed to the correct chicken. Alex's indifference turned to annoyance. He grudgingly started the second one but again was paying no attention and added crumbled Feta. When I told him "never mind" he turned to a co-worker laughed and raised his ands like "oh well". We immediately asked for a manager and was informed that was actually Alex. He could not have cares less and I'm shocked Cava has him as a leader in that store. Showing your employees it is ok to belittle customers and not provide any semblance of service is amazing. We will be contacting the GM Daniel and ask he review in store video of actions for order AC2TJL9AACD6. UPDATE, nobody ever responded. Tells everyone exactly what type of place this is. read more

One of our new favorite places to eat! The food is fresh and tastes amazing, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and prices are decent. The sign outside leaves you wondering what kind of food it is they serve...its Mediterranean. They have salads, pitas, or build your own. The juice bar is awesome. Highly recommend! read more
