Aladdin's Cafe is excellent! The restaurant is small and not much to look at, but the service and food are amazing! This is probably the best Mediterranean I've ever had. Seriously 5 stars!

Three years later... The Genie from Aladdin is still saying, "Phenomenal cosmic FLAVORS are in this itty bitty TASTY space!" My family and I stopped in after not being back in the area for dinner. We decided to get the Family Platter which was more than enough food for my 6'5'' husband, 6'3'' brother-in-law, 6'0'' father-in-law, 5'11'' mother-in-law and myself (a 5'9'' pregnant woman hahaha). We are all not only tall but have BIG appetites. :D It was just as zesty and delicious as I remember! The staff had also not missed a beat - just the kindest! Can't wait to go back for more and more!

This hidden gem was introduced to me by my dad and his wifey and it's now my go to for Mediterranean food. The place is pretty casual and laid back and the service is always extremely friendly and fast. The food is always delicious and I always invite friends to eat here when they want to try the food for the first time of if they've never been to a Mediterranean place in the area. I think the flavors are delicious and always tasty for being brought out so quickly. I've had Mediterranean food before and this little place hasn't disappointed me yet. I hope you'll give them a try and if you like it as much as I do share them with your friends...I think they'll like them just as much! This day specifically we came and all ordered the lentil soup, we also ordered babaganouge, hummus with meat, chicken shawarma, and fried cauliflower (which we liked so much we ordered three!)l. Everyone ate everything and wanted to lick up their plates! I truly enjoy the flavors they have and hope you'll give them a try to see for yourself!

We really enjoyed our trip to Aladdin Cafe. We got the hummus with chicken shawarma as well as the Mediterranean Salad, the tzatziki and a side of rice. All were excellent, lots of pita which is always good. Really enjoyed the friendly service we received. We will definitely be back!

This place is a little hidden gem that you could easily miss ... but should not! Went with a friend who was craving Indian cuisine after a tiring day of medical procedures. First surprise was when he pulled into a small strip center facing Aladdin's. Everything was incredibly fresh, especially the tabouli!! I had a gyro and my friend had a falafel sandwich, soooo much yummy food!! Anxious to go back for another visit in the near future!!!

Loved every bit!! My daughter & I stopped in one afternoon. And then the next day with family. The food was yummy the tea was authentic & oh so good. The girls working both times were so friendly & helpful & made delicious recommendations! We sat inside the first day. It's was quiet with few people. & Inside is decorated with the Aladdin theme. With a lovely mural of Aladdin. The night we went with family was bustling with people & families. We sat outside & it felt like a magical evening on a terrace. We will definitely return!! Our favorite cake was the vanilla. We had 3 flavors in 2 days! Haha!

A while back I went and the vegetable combo had gone up to $20! Now it's back down to $16 so I'm back. The food is as good as ever. Homemade everything. Two versions of hummus, regular and spicy, and both are delicious! Tatziki, tabouli and garbanzo salad as well as stuffed grape leaves, chicken and beet salad. And hot sides are also available on the veggie plate! Rice pilaf, roasted cauliflower, eggplant and several more. The cauliflower was amazing! If you get a meat they have many but the tenderloin kabab ("beef kabab"") was a huge hit at my table. Cooked to perfection on the charcoal grill. Just fabulous. They've got shwarma, gyro sandwiches and even more delicious meats and the freshest vegetables. The pita bread is fresh from the oven- a steaming hot pillow of goodness. They have several types of canned and bottled drinks including yogurt drink and San Pelligrino, a couple of iced teas, lemonade and various fountain drink choices. No alcohol here. If you have never been, go and if you've been, go back because it's definitely worth the visit. It is a great place to enjoy tasty homemade Lebanese, Mediterranean and Greek food. Oh! One final note: the staff is friendly and welcoming. I felt so comfortable and relaxed because they really make you feel at home .

The salad was ok. The zucchini was loaded with cilantro. I hate cilantro. Very disappointed in that. My husband's food on the other hand was a big let down. He had Greek salad, zucchini, eggplant, lamb shank and curry chicken. Zucchini - he doesn't like cilantro either. The eggplant was too bitter to eat. The lamb shank was very tender but flavorless. The curry chicken was dry, despite being in a sauce and flavorless. And to add insult to injury both meats came with a hefty upcharge.

It's not exactly close to me, but the menu convinced us to give it a try. My husband went with the buffet and enjoyed the variety -- hummus, gyro, salad, and pita bread -- and felt the price was a great value for what was offered. I ordered the pastitsio. It wasn't quite the same as the versions I've had in Chicago, where I've enjoyed both homemade and restaurant-made versions. This one was still enjoyable, but not as flavorful as I remembered. The béchamel sauce was creamy, though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning, and the tomato sauce leaned a little too soupy for my taste. I took the moussaka to go. It had a very similar flavor profile to the pastitsio, but instead of pasta, it featured layers of eggplant and ground beef. It was comforting and hearty, though the flavors felt a bit repetitive between the two dishes. The cheese bread that came with both the pastitsio and moussaka was really good -- warm, soft, and a great pairing with the meal. Service was fantastic -- friendly and attentive -- and the space, while small, had a cozy, homey feel. Overall, I'm glad I finally got my pastitsio fix, and it was a pleasant experience.

Located in Arlington, the restaurant is divided in 2 sections and the place has quite a casual and local vibe We, a party of 5 were immediately seated and the server aptly took our order. As we were famished, we ordered..a lot: -Mazza Plate -Falafel -Fries -Gyro Special Plate -2 Chicken Shawarma(Bank Special) plate (comes with Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki sauce and Pita) -Falafel Plate - Gyro Sandwich Dessert: -Baklava -Burma Since we love spicy, we asked for our food to be spiced up. 5-10 mins later, the food began to arrive. First impression was the portion size was huge. At the onset we knew we ordered too much. The Mazza plate was amazing with assortment of Middle-Eastern appetizers i.e. hummus, babaganoush, tabouli salad, dolmas, with kalamata olives and pita. We absolutely loved the dimas and the hummus and pita bread was fresh. The Shawarma plates were pretty decent and the chicken and gyro meats were well cooked and seasoned, however the spicy sauce they use was a bit more on the tangy side than on spicy side. Which was a let down. Falafels we crunchy and were pretty decent. The fries however were huge let down. They were too oily and the taste of overused oil was pretty evident. The best part for us were the desserts. The Baklava was great but the Burma blew us away. The roasted Cashes and angel hair with honey was truly delicious. To Foodies: This is quite a famous place for middle easter food, main reason being it was covered by The food network. Do try their Shawarma Plate , especially Gyro plate, it is pretty awesome. Also the quantity is good. However, I would recommend to stay away from fries or be careful of deep fried items. Do try the desserts, you'll fall in love. Overall, it is a good place but I have had much better. May be the standards have gone down a bit over the years. To Management: You have a wonderful staff, good location and the food is pretty decent..However I'd recommened to keep a check on your oil used for deep fried stuff. The fries were a huge let down. One bite and i frlt that bad taste of oil at the back of my throat. Also please revamp your spicy sauce a bit. Too much vinegar. Overall Rating: 6.5/10 Signing off Rahul V.S. aka CanIndian Foodie
