    Gyro Plate w/ rice

Super cute authentic Greek restaurant maybe 5 minutes off TCU campus. I don't know why it took me so long to come here. The food was amazing and didn't take too long either. Also wasn't super crowded for around lunch time.

    Menu 12/30/23

Good for what it is...a small, seemingly family run place. Portion to price size ratio seemed a bit less than expected. Flavor was good. They were out of tabouli at 2pm, which was a reason for choosing to eat from there.

If I could give this mom and pop restaurant 6 stars I would. The owners and their son run the place and are super sweet people. The woman makes the spanikopita (called spinach puffs on the menu) herself. I have never had anything here that wasn't absolutely amazing, and i've ordered almost everything on the menu at this point. The best and most authentic greek food in fort worth

    Gyros sandwich. So delicious!

We tried Greek House for lunch today, and it was very tasty! We ordered the gyros sandwich and the acropolis. The gyros sandwich had meat, onions, tomatoes, tzatziki sauce. The acropolis has grilled mushrooms, peppers, onions, cheese, lettuce, avocado, and tzatziki sauce. The pita bread was soft and warm. The veggies were fresh! The meat was tender and delicious. And the family who worked there were friendly and nice! Basically, it's everything you would want from a restaurant! Would highly recommend!

Gyro special: gyro, fries & drink

Found this lovely little place on Yelp while in town for work. Had gyro special (gyro, fries, and drink). Gyro was a little on the small side but delicious. Another customer asked how long they'd been in business and man behind counter said over 20 years. Appears to be family owned & run business, and he said they make all their food from scratch! A hidden gem near TCU!

Had a wonderful lunch here today with the family. I had the gyro plate. It is perfectly delicious ! It is hard to find a real authentic good quality gyro in Fort Worth but this place is the exception. SO DELICIOUS! The quality of the gyro meat is superb. It also comes with a fresh greek salad and fires. The fries are so yummy and the plate is well worth it meal/ Customer service: The customer service is good. The can take a little while preparing the food but that is just because they value quality. I do recommend ordering ahead of time if you are in a big rush. Its more of a sit down and relax kinda place. The interior design many could say it needs to be majorly restyled which is probably true but it is the charm of this old gem too If you are in Fort Worth and are in the mood for a great gyro stop here! Thank you Greek House ! Until next time.

I had an appointment at a salon near the restaurant so I called my order in and was told that it would be 10 minutes. I arrived to pick up my order and was greeted by a friendly woman who was also the cashier. My order was ready and waiting. I grabbed a bottled water which brought my total to a bit over $13. The friendly woman asked if I'd like ketchup and plastic ware in which I accepted. I made it to my destination and opened my containers of food. I thought the menu mentioned tomatoes and onions on the gyros sandwich but none were found. I took a bite hoping that it wouldn't be too dry but it was dry and salty... I looked for Tzaki sauce and it was with the salad. I'm usually not a fan because I hate cucumbers but thankfully theirs was mild and didn't have cucumbers in it. The fries were hot but also heavily salted with what appeared to be a Cajun seasoning. The salad was standard but appreciated ( of course I picked the cucumbers out). I won't be returning due to the cost for what I received. Unfortunately, the cold water was the only thing purchased that was worthwhile.

This is what $6 of, "baba ganoush" looks like. Tasted more like pesto.

Best gyro around! They aren't stingy o. The meat and everything tastes fresh! The dolmas are okay but not the best I've had.

After my first visit, I completely understand why. When I walked in, I was immediately welcomed and kindly guided through parts of the menu I wasn't familiar with. Mediterranean food usually isn't my go-to, so I appreciated how patient and helpful they were without making me feel out of place. I ordered the beef shawarma plate with tzatziki and hot sauce on the side, then sat at the barstools near the food prep area while I waited. Watching the owner prepare the food was honestly part of the experience. At one point, he came over and insisted I try their tea. I initially declined, but he smiled and said he'd only pour me half a cup. That small act of kindness and hospitality genuinely sold me on this place. The restaurant was clean, quiet, welcoming, and smelled incredible. And yes, absolutely try the tea. It was a custom Earl Grey blend made specifically for them, and it was fantastic. When I got home, I was surprised by how generous the portions were for the price. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully balanced. The spices were used perfectly, the produce tasted fresh, and the food even held its temperature well by the time I got home. I've only been here once so far, but I already plan on becoming a regular, probably at least once a week. Y'all are doing an amazing job, and I'm really glad I found this place.

We arrived around 7:40 PM, and there were only two people in the lobby. Despite that, the staff appeared annoyed that we even entered the restaurant. The young woman who took our order was extremely rude and had a very negative attitude. While we were standing at the register, she began yelling from the front about feta fries being burnt (which appeared to be for herself). She then walked back to the kitchen loudly ranting and blaming the kitchen staff, saying she "didn't expect it to get so damn busy all of a sudden." Her behavior was unprofessional and uncomfortable for customers to witness. At that point, I honestly considered taking my group and leaving. After placing our order, we noticed the staff packing our food in to-go bags. We politely told the gentleman working that we were planning to eat inside. He responded by saying they close in 30 minutes and that we were not allowed to eat in the building. This was the first time anyone mentioned the dining room closing, and again, there was no signage posted stating this policy. We ordered three meals and one order of feta fries. It was very clear that the three of us were dining together, yet at no point when ordering were we informed that the dining room would be closing at 8 PM and that service would be to-go only after that time. I have eaten inside this location many times around this same hour without issue. Between the rude attitude, yelling, being forced to take our food to go without prior notice, and the complete lack of communication, this was one of the worst experiences I've had at this location. Management seriously needs to address customer service standards and ensure staff communicate policies clearly and professionally.
