I was not expecting to like Cava as much as I did. Someone compared it to a chipotle and I think this is not the best association. Cava has fresh healthy ingredients in a clean environment with employees that care about allergies and food restrictions. When someone ordering said they had a gluten allergy, the person preparing the food, changed their gloves and washed their hands before preparing the meal. So many other places don't take that level of care. This was our first visit and it took some time to read about all the different types of options. They have when you're putting together your bowl or pita it was a little bit difficult to hear what the employees were saying with the noise level, but the descriptions on the glass were helpful. I would recommend getting your dressing on the side because they allow you to add "dips" that can be a wet base in a salad it was nice having the option of dressing on the side to control the moisture. The employees were very nice. The trash bins were confusing they clearly looked like they were created for separate types of trash but they were not marked to tell you what to to where. read more

Ambiance- Nice & New. Clean grounds, didn't go inside as I did an order pick up/drive thru. Service- easy to order on app. Notifications by phone. Nice ladies working the window. Food- Would love to have the option to request the spread and sauces be in separate containers. Soggy pita bread wouldn't be so great, thankfully I did not have a far drive. Avocado was incredibly hard. I literally stopped eating to see what I bit into. A kids order of chicken shouldn't be in anyway spicy (unless noted). I was surprised by the hint of spice in the chicken. And again, if the pita wasn't dunked inside of the hummus that would've been nice. Other::: Will visit again of course as this is now the closest. Welcome to the area & best of luck to this CAVA location. Also the messaging updates aren't accurate. I received duplicate messages back to back and far after my order had been picked up. I was so excited to have a Cava near me. When it first opened it was good and the service was decent; however, the service is horrible at this location. The last two times I went to the digital pickup, I waited 10 minutes each time. Both times it was the same girl working and she is very, very rude. She ignored me and when she did help me just opened the window and stared at me, no Hi or anything. I chalked that up to a bad night for her. Then I went tonight and again she ignored me when I pulled up. She looked at me and made some orders, then went over to the line leaving me to sit there. I finally honked several times, and another girl finally came over to help me. This is really unacceptable and I won't be going anymore. I like to spend my hard-earned money at places that appreciate you being there. I hope when Panera opens on McPherson it will be better than this place! read more

The salads are always fresh, the salad is ready on time. The young man at the window is always smiling and happy. Yes I eat here at least 2 times a week. Very healthy read more

Floor and carpet are extremely sticky. First time visiting this place it was quiet (slow) and half of the orders were wrong since they forgot to add the protein (chicken and falafel).... The staff's service needs improvement or retraining. Next time I'll open my order and check it before I leave. I hope this place gets better because having healthy food with greens in the area is nice. read more

Tried Cava for the first time. Place was very clean with a modern decor. Not what would expect for a Mediterranean restaurant. Food is good with a lot of choices and fresh juice type drinks. Wife got the greens and grain bowl and picked out what she wanted in hers and was very happy with her choice. Is like a Subway for Mediterranean food. Little on the expensive side for a fast food type eatery. Would go back again but get a pita instead of a salad. read more

Me and my wife were very much anticipating looking forward to eating at this establishment. We finally had gotten the time to eat here, and the service along with the food was subpar. The staff seemed very nonchalant. They also did not have a lot of the food items as they claimed to have run out, as there was no steak and other various menu items, granted I did arrive at this location at 9pm which they close at 10pm. However it was still disappointing to not be able to enjoy what we had ordered. In addition to that the order was just thrown together very quickly, there was sauce literally dripping out of the bag. My experience was amazing! The customer service was super nice and even though I knew nothing about Cava they made it super easy to order. The food was super good!! I would argue that it's better than chipotle, it's definitely healthier then chipotle. And this is coming from someone who loves chipotle. Super good, definitely recommend! read more

Adam was our maker today and he was fantastic. Patient with our questions, gave his opinion on things he liked & even told me when there would be an additional charge. I appreciate his friendliness and quickness. The food was delicious! Steak Mezze Salad was delicious! I even added the roasted veggies! It was clean and the music was at a good volume. read more

I ordered 2 salads for digital pickup for 5:45p CST today. I arrive to the digital pickup lane and there was 1 car in front of me. 15 minutes later me and the 1 car was still sitting there. No one came to the window. I could see one guy by the window but he never stuck his head out the window to address the car in front of me. I finally went inside and stood an extra 5 minutes for the staff to finish taking the in line customers orders. I'm next up to the register and the order maker/cashier SKIPS over me and asks the lady behind me for her order and the lady tells her that she's there to pickup an online order. When another staff person finally asked how she could help me, I had been there by this time a total of 22-25 minutes. I let the young lady know how unprofessional it was for them to not address customers waiting in the digital pick up lane and then when inside to purposely be SKIPPED is NOT customer service. She offered up NO APOLOGY nor an ACKNOWLEDGMENT of what I said yet choosing to mumble under her breath to the female co-worker that purposely SKIPPED over me. I know good help is hard to find but if this is the best staff CAVA can come up with, then I'll just take my hard earned money and dining experiences elsewhere. read more

Lucky enough to get a free meal at the new Cava on McPherson., it was soooo delicious! I don't frequent Cava (but sure will now) so I needed help with what to order. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The line went fast, the inside is spacious, plus there is outside seating for cooler days. Digital pickups. I also loved they accepted donations to the Local food bank. Kudos to them! Can't wait to continue getting food from them! Welcome to the neighborhood Cava!! read more

Food is always good. Ambiance is always nice. My complaint is with the lack of checking the new pickup order window. The order window is mirrored on the side facing the employees. They talk on the phone, check their hair in the drivethru mirror glass, and ignore you for 15 minutes+... I think they just don't see us and aren't checking despite bags being on the shelf. read more

The customer service was great. The staff was professional, courteous, and timely with my order.

The lentils in my spicy salad were hard and not done. In was afraid nine as going to chip my teeth on these little black rocks. My daughter could hear me bite on these and they were loaded in the salad very little lettuce, rare pieces.of sliced broccoli, overkill on the green sauce and basically looked sloppy. The tblsp of hummus and taziki was OK. My daughter ordered a grain bowl with a couple things she ordered left out. Her comment was it wasn't that good either. my son in law states his rice was hard and undercooked. We were all disappointed with the quality of food. We will never go back. I called and talked to the manager who offered to provide a replay on the food (no thank you) bleh.... He said he could not provide a refund on the card that had to come from the corporate headquarters so that was another effort to go on line to accomplish this ..what a hasstle. No I would NOT recommend this place.. The pictures on the menu look good but what we received looked nothing like that.....and to be under cooked.. They need to figure out when lentils and rice are completely cooked. Why also wasn't there a way to get your money back from the establishment we went to.
