We came back since I really wanted to try their Pad Thai after all the great and tasty food we had, but it was a let down. The sauce isn't the Pad Thai sauce that I like, so I was a bit disappointed. I still enjoy the other foods that I've tried, but I won't be ordering the Pad Thai anymore.

Everything was delicious. Love this restaurant. The service was great and this spot has cute decor of pink flowers everywhere.

Never disappointed & always satisfied! We came to Pandan with a craving for Pad Thai and Coconut Curry. So good, so much flavor, just delicious! We also ordered some items to take with us for family at home. Service was friendly and helpful as always.

Visited a church in the area and wanted to try something new and curry. The prices are GREAT for the portions. We selected three entrees and an appetizer. (1) Pandan Pad Thai with chicken, which was hot & fresh, tasted decent (was missing bean sprouts and the sprinkle of peanuts I'm accustomed to) (2) Pork Belly Hun Lay & Rice was very tender and flavorful - no complaints (3) Yellow Curry with onions and potatoes was VERY disappointing :\ menu states mildly spicy but it lacked I think because it was so runny - expectation is for the rice to soak up the flavors of the curry and for it to STICK. Consistency was like broth rather than gravy-like and potatoes didn't taste all the way cooked. The Pad Thai rolls are MONSTROUS y'all - more like spring roll-wrapped lettuce burritos stuffed w/rice noodles with a tiny bit of shredded carrots & purple cabbage. The peanut sauce dip is decent good size and definitely needed for flavor, and there's no mint in the rolls. For drinks, we took the offer of the complimentary ice water & fresh sweet tea. All in all, our tummies were satisfied but our taste buds not so much with the disappointment of the curry. The refreshing tea and the colorful ambience was the star of the meal for me. I'd definitely go back if in the area to give them another chance on a different kind of curry.

My first time trying this place and I love the atmosphere and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back to try more food.

My mom and I were traveling and wanted some good Thai food. This restaurant had high reviews and is right off I-35. So Happy we stopped to try it out!! I ordered pad Thai with shrimp which was outstanding and she ordered the haianese chicken and rice. The portions are large and we shared with eachother. Oh, and the sauce for the haianese chicken (still in the container when I took the pic) was fantastic!!

Menu price was $9.75 for the Thai fried rice but I was charged $11.25. (Plus $2.50 upcharge for shrimp on top of that)

I'm going to be honest, I had very low expectations for this place since the Asian food in the burleson area is not the most authentic. Thought I'd give it a try anyways. I ordered a shrimp Thai fried rice and a beef pad see ew and both were very good!! So glad I was not let down. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because the Thai tea was very sweet and I was overcharged. Looked at my receipt when I got home and menu price for Thai fried rice was $9.75 and I was charged extra $2.50 for shrimp which the employee did tell me and I was ok with that but I was charged $11.25 for the Thai fried rice + extra $2.50 up-charge for shrimp. I hope it was just a genuine mistake and I wish I had caught it sooner while I was still there

Is this location open anymore? I've called a couple of times and they haven't answered.

Yes they are still open for pickup and delivery. No inside dining yet as of 6/4/20. Sometimes their phone line gets busy and have to call a few times.

Wouldn't it be great if they offered a vegan Thai tea ? Simply by carrying almond or cashew milk this would be possible .

I know they can make many of their dishes vegan. Have you asked about the Tea?

It is affordable which is much appreciated during travel. We had garlicky wings and spring rolls (vegetarian deep fried) to open. Wings were crispy and tasty - not buffalo in size. Had Tom Kha soup, pad see ewe, green curry, drunken noodle, vegetable fried rice, Thai iced tea, lime coconut drink, and the ice cream sandwiches macaroon. Thai iced tea was pretty standard. The soup was sour and yummy. My family is mostly vegetarian so all of the dishes except the drunken noodle and wings were with tofu. The green curry had warmed up green beans and peas from frozen-nothing to write home about. Pad see ewe and drunken noodle were decent. I didn't try the fried rice. The fried spring rolls were more wrap than vegetables. The vinegar sauce was a little bland. The dessert was delicious - lighter in sugar than a usual macaroon. Cookies n crème was dairy, and the blueberry was nondairy, tasting like a blueberry bagel, per my niece- and at the end had a floral lavender rose note. The wait for the food wasn't too long. The takeout containers vary from plastic utensils to bowls, to cardboard box for wings, to foam for smaller bowls, and wooden chopsticks. It was disappointing to not have the option of fish sauce with peppers. But the sriracha sauce and separate dry peppers were offered.

The ambiance s the same, but the fd quality has one down some. They are using a lot of cabbage. I have never seen cabbage in pad Thai before. doubt I ever will again. It seems they are trying to stretch the food out and giving smaller prices and still raised the prices. I paid over 80.00 for a single appetizer my son and i shared, a single soup we shared and 2 entrees. 1 hot tea and 1 soda. With portions smaller than they were before it really didn't seem worth it especially since I am not a huge fan of cabbage and it was in everything. What happened to the mushrooms? It was bad enough when I could barely ever get there because of their hours, now it seems I don't care if I can or not. I really wish Cleburne could get a decent Thai restaurant that stayed open for dinner and had good portion sizes. I mean really how much are some noodles and some tofu? Not 80.00 I can tell you that. I could have bought the ingredients for what we ate today for less than 20.00 and I don't even get a discount on food. I was quite shocked when I saw the bill. Sorry I forgot to take pictures We had the Tom Kha, the Drunken Noodles, the Pad Thai, and the mixed Appetizer plate. The pics on their menu are a little deceiving. The mixed appetizer plate look like they are going to be egg roll size or even spring roll size, but they are about 1/4 that size even though 3 of them are supposed to be spring rolls. They are very good though. Just thought you would get a lot more for 14.95. Just very disappointed, I use to really like this place.

While the bahn mi isn't exactly traditional, it is still very good -- I'd highly suggest getting it with the pate. The sampler appetizer has a little bit of everything and is great for sharing. Malai Kitchen in Clearfork is a welcome detour from a shopping afternoon, Thai and Vietnamese…read morecuisine in a bright, airy space that makes you want to settle in for longer than your credit card probably intended. A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

They don't deliver themselves but we've had all orders delivered in under 30 minutes which is great when you're really hungry. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because of errors and inconsistencies. They've made a mistake on every single order (eating chicken fried rice right now even though I ordered pork; last order came with extra rice instead of the extra eggs I ordered, etc.). So nothing major but it has happened on every order of food for 2 people. As far as consistency, I'm referring to things such as spice levels. I ordered a level 5 spice one time and it was decently spicy but nothing crazy. I ordered that same item another time with a spice level of 3 and could barely eat it because it felt like I was eating straight heat. The mistakes and inconsistencies haven't been enough to stop us from ordering though since we really do enjoy their food, and the portions are generous. I've been there in person once to pick up a replacement order after one of the errors b/c they don't have their own delivery drivers so there's no way to bring you the correct food order after the initial delivery. It was nice inside; appeared to be very clean with good ambiance. The girls at the counter were very nice and were quick to help get me my corrected order. I'd definitely recommend eating here but going in person may be best to ensure you get the right order.
