I don't know, man. I think this place deserves higher than a 3.7-star review. I was feeling a tad under the weather today and I wanted something fresh and spicy. I ordered some of their soup and an order of their red curry for delivery, both max-spice level. Food arrived PIPING hot and mad fresh. Serving sizes were very good too. Taste was awesome. I'm not sure about this place to be honest. It's not that the service is bad nor the food is bad but it's inconsistent. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's not. And it's hard to rate restaurant when they are inconsistent. I've had a GREAT service there and then I come back and received terrible service. Same way about food. Sometimes it comes or piping hot sometimes lukewarm So maybe more consistent in service and food and it'll be a great place to hang. read more

We went for an Early Dinner a couple of days ago to Thailicious. The food and the service was good. But, we were not very thrilled to see a 15% Gratuity tacked onto our bill without even letting us know - and we were a party of just three - and there was no one dining, besides us! In addition to this there was a listing of suggested tips. For any unwary customer this would appear to be very sly with a nonchalant "guilt-extortion" tactic. Get here early its a favorite in the TCU campus area. Appears to be a lot of regulars here as well. As with any establishment some staff are better than others...sadly we got an other for our server. While attempting to place an order the server constantly talked over us and would complete our sentences or cut us off as we detailed what we wanted. This of course lead to a few entrees being wrong and were sent back. Attention to our table could have been better, but I'm sure he was bitter at us due to frustrations caused by his mistakes. I am not fond of their pho but their pad thai is divine! Unfortunately, in-store they have a 5 point system for heat but online, only 3. I wanted a 2 & 3 for my respective dishes and couldn't do that online. If you pick medium and spicy online, you get a 3 and a 5. That really needs to be fixed. My partner couldn't eat their meal because it was the 5 that was supposed to be a 3. And for $40-plus, that shouldn't be the case. read more

I've been to several Thai restaurants and this ranks in the top two. I love drunken noodles, so that's what I order whenever I go to a Thai restaurant. Not all are created equal. This place was recommended highly by my lover, she frequents this place because of how close it is to her home; but also how comforting the food can be for her. As her review stands it holds true. She usually gets the Thai tea which was so delicious. We were greedy! So we ordered so many dishes. I thought the portions were gonna be small, but they are good and family style. The Tom yum was so good. The yellow curry was warm and delicious. The pot stickers were surprisingly good, we like to add them to the curry. Def try that! This place is right off of I-35 on Hulen street. It's in the big parking connecting to Central Market and it faces the highway. We got the Thailicious Sampler, Seafood Basket, Tom Yum Soup, and Fiery fish. The spice level is on the hotter side (which is good). The flavor was great and even the brown rice was good. The only issue is that everything is a little too salty. You'll need to eat with rice. If you want some place nice off the highway, give it a try. read more

Eaten here several times and today we encountered Kloe.....our waitress who wasn't the least bit helpful or at all friendly. Uggggggh. If you read my reviews I typically never complain on service...today it just had to be noted. We asked for a different server and Jose arrived. He was better...not great but better. Thai Tea=Yummy. We Consistently order the pepper steak with Fried Rice. Today though we had to order (2) entrees, one pepper steak $15.00 which only comes with brown or white rice. You'd think no big deal, but today it was. We had to order another entree of Fried rice, $13.99 vs an up charge of $2.00 more for fried rice. Ok great we will take the left overs home. Ordering this combo was problematic with both servers. I ordered the Pai Thai. It's good and I mean good. The fried rice is delicious (it should be for $13) and the Peppercorn steak was "ok". Over all 3.5-4 star review for the food. I'm going to come back for a business lunch and see if we're treated better. If so, then I get it. Judged by the company you keep and the way we were dressed. I have been coming here for a couple of years now and Thailicious has been one of my go-to spots...until my last visit. I don't know what happened, but we saw no one in the front of house we had ever seen before. Maybe there was a change of management? Anyway.... We started with fried pot stickers and for entrees I ordered my usual basil chicken and so did my friend. Things seemed a little slower than normal, despite the dining room being fairly empty. I know there are a lot of take-out orders since COVID so we attributed the delay to that, no big deal. Well, when both the appetizer and our main dishes showed up at the same time, we had the first sign that this wouldn't be a normal experience. The pot stickers were lukewarm, as were both of our mains. Ok, not a huge deal, but also not what we were used to from Thailicious. The basil chicken was not at all up to its usual standard, It had one little basil leaf and almost no seasoning. It wasn't the basil chicken I have had there a dozen times. My friend's plate was the same. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good, and good was what we were used to. The service was also not up to its usual level. We literally could not hear our server, despite asking her to speak up a couple of times. Soft-spoken is an understatement here. It made ordering and getting little things more difficult than they needed to be. And overall general attention to her customers was just lacking. I'm not wild that my review here was prompted by a bad visit to one of my otherwise go to places to eat. Maybe it was a bad day? Maybe it was a new chef? I don't know, but I know we both left feeling disappointed with the whole dining experience. Sure, I will go back and give them another try. After many good meals, maybe this was a one-off and the next visit will be back to a (what I would normally give them) 4-star experience. I am really hoping that is the case... Edited after the owner's response to add: Just the fact that the owner's read and responded to my review and concerns makes me want to try them again. We waited for a long time for our order. I asked about our food and was told that they had messed up our order and they were not going to charge for our order. When our food came we had to ask two people for utensils... our waiter said they had no dishwashers. No one apologized... we asked for a manager and the waiter referred us to another waitress and she listened but said she wasn't the manager either. This place surprised me as it was very tasty, Service was great and it appeared the place was compliant with the CoVID restrictions of social distancing (including plexiglass). I gauge my Thai food establishments on my favorite dish: Pangang curry with tofu. The side of rice was served on the side in the shape of a heart- what a sweet touch. This place did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the tofu in the dish was plentiful. I ordered it with a spice level of 1 and it was a bit spicy but she reassured me that no spice was added but it was just their pangang spice. It was still very good and I would recommend this place for dine in, pick up or delivery thru it's affiliated delivery partners. Side note: although the dine in area was not busy (only 2 tables - including ours - the entire time), the take out and delivery was very busy! Overall a great experience but not a place I would go out of the way for. The restaurant was clean and we had it all to ourselves on a Sunday afternoon. We started with egg rolls and they were very good, crispy and full. I didn't love the sauce that came with them. My husband and I split the pad Thai with pork for our entree. It was hardly enough for both of us, which is not normally the case with pad Thai. The pad Thai was good and tasty, but we got the regular and probably should have gone spicy for more flavor. I discovered this place from a coworker who would order lunch from here on a constant basis. I finally asked what that delicious smell was and she introduced me to my first Pad Thai. I've been hooked ever since! I have eaten take out from here on numerous occasions and dined in once. The quality of the food has never altered. My go to is always the Pad Thai and the Chili Chicken. I alternate between a heat level 2 or 3. Sometimes the 3 is so hot I sweat, other times it's perfect. That is my only compliant! I wish the heat level was consistent, but I understand why it isn't. When I took the family, we ordered the pot stickers, coconut shrimp, cashew nut chicken, and the pad prik khing. Everything was of course fresh and delicious. This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant in Ft Worth. I'm only sad because since Covid, I have been working from home and it's not right down the road from me anymore. read more

Arrived for lunch about noon on a weekday. I was greeted immediately and with a smile. It is a small place and there were multiple tables filled. I was seated immediately. You choose a protein and dish, a spice level (1-5 where 1 is the least spicy), an appetizer, and a salad dressing. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai, spice 2, an egg roll, and the tomato vinaigrette and a lemonade to drink. The salad and dressing was fresh, light, and tangy. The Pad Thai was very delicious. It had very good flavor and was at a good spice limit. I might go a little spicier next time. The egg roll was also good. The service was very good, as she was attentive to the level of my drink as she was busy helping other tables. You pay your tab at the front. As I watched others pay their tab, all of the servers had a smile. Your bill comes in a fun picture frame with a key keeping it in place. All around bad experience.... This was our first time coming to this restaurant and it will definitely be our last. There was food stuck to our drinking glasses and most of our food came out cold. I had to send back our steamed veggies because they were extremely cold and hard to the touch. They mixed up the spice levels on all of our dishes and to top it all off, they added a 20% gratuity to all of our tabs without saying anything (super shady) we had a party of 7 which included an infant. 20% seems pretty steep when we never got drink refills and we found a long black hair in our to-go box among everything else. So many great Thai places in Dfw, don't waste you time or money on this one. read more
