This is a small restaurant, but it's definitely worth visiting. The fried rice and noodles are my husband's and kids' favorites. I personally love the spicy chicken with broccoli and the Kung Pao chicken. We usually order the same dishes every time, and the taste is always consistent. The prices are fair for the quality and portions. The only thing to keep in mind is that since it's a small place, the food can take a little while to come out. Bowl Express was surprisingly good. The food pictures in the reviews (mine included) looked dull and flavorless, but I always say don't knock it 'til you try it, and I'm so glad I tried it. Ambience is okay. The restaurant is next to a stoplight, but the area wasn't crazy busy. There was an awkward silence due to no TV or music, so my partner and I just talked and played cards (not provided) while we waited. Kind, but slow service. Reviews weren't lying when they said the food was made fresh. We were told it would take 15-20 minutes for the food to be ready, but it took 35 and we were the only customers. I'd highly recommend ordering ahead of time. We got the SP2 dragon & phoenix with fried rice, SP1 teriyaki chicken with fried rice, crab rangoon, and a diet coke. It all came out to be about $35. All the food was super tasty, it felt clean and not oily. I have zero complaints. Overall, even though there was a long wait, I'd still recommend trying Bowl Express. After seeing the reviews, I was excited to try this place out. My wife and I were out of town for business and came across this place. My wife ordered the sesame chicken, which had a great flavor and was crispy. I ordered the teriyaki chicken. The plate was so so and came without the broccoli and carrots. Correct Yelp, I have checked into this place twice and it was great. I order the same meal each time and each time they have been fresh and flavorful. This third visit was just the same as usual, I ordered orange chicken and chicken fried rice. The orange chicken was not like all the other times. It tasted as if it had been sitting out all day and they warmed it up and served it to us. I hate to write this review. But, here it is.... Just came home from a trip and I had a flyer from Bowl Express on my door. Great! I am tired, its starting to get late. I can order delivery. So, I skim the menu, make my choices and then dial. The first time, no answer, over ten rings. I call again and after four or five rings, someone answers in Spanish (and not identifying the business) I ask if it was Bowl Express. They indicated it was and that no one was there to take the order, to call back in ten minutes. I wait ten minutes. I call back. Same story. This time I called a place I've ordered from before. Sad for me, FTW doesn't seem to have many delivery Chinese places. I was excited to try a new one. I will try again someday, I hope there is someone there to take my order. OH! Ordered from this restaurant about five times now in the last month. Only had one time where I was missing some sauce to go with my chicken( hence the 4star rating) . Overall a great quick Chinese place to eat for delivery. The food has been fresh each time and the taste is pretty good! Probably a 8.8 out of 10. In addition,the delivery is fast and the fee is really cheap about half that of Uber Eats and Favor and I'm ordering from the downtown Fort Worth area. No real complaints with this chain. My coworkers considered calling me on my day off to find out what chain I normally order from after tasting their food on a previous occasion. Have you ever had one of those moments where you're so hungry... That you would eat anything? Well I was absolutely starving and that's what brought me to this restaurant. There are several booths inside the restaurant for dining in. And they have delivery. The menu is not all that big and there are lunch and dinner size portions. The staff that served me was pleasant. The inside of this restaurant looked a little dirty... But it wasn't grossly dirty. It made me very happy that I was eating on paper plates with a plastic fork, and a styrofoam cup. I don't think I would want anything that they washed to be my plate. I got the spicy Schezwan chicken. Was under $7 I got the lunch size portion. I chose fried rice. The two stars are being generous, mostly because my meal was brought out to me and under 5 minutes. The fried rice? Well, that does look like brown rice. There wasn't anything in it it was very dry. The Schezwan chicken had a sauce and they were Chili's in it. However it was not spicy at all. I think the Chili's were kind of just for show... Like maybe you think you're going to get something spicy? But you're really not going to. I had about two tablespoons of the rice. There was some chicken in the dish but there There was some chicken in the dish but there wasn't a carrots and onions a couple of pieces of celery. Like I said I was extremely hungry! I plan to never return to this location. I would probably cover my eyes the next time I drive past this location.
