My cuz loves this place. He had a gift card from this place so, he treated me to dinner at Pei Wei. It's always such a great experience for us. We have the place to ourselves, dinner is brought to our table promptly and the taste of Orange Chicken is tasty, crispy and sweet. 7:30 dinner on a Monday evening, place was almost vacant and needed to be cleaned. Ordered Mongolian steak w/noodles, wife had Kung Pao chicken (also w/noodles), sides of crab rangoons (2) and chicken egg rolls (2). Entrees were okay (KP chicken tasted overcooked), but rangoons were dry and void of crab/cheese, while egg rolls were either undercooked or the chicken had gone bad -- just awful and inedible. I placed my order in the app and did the buy one get one half off. I am also a part of their rewards and received an email stating I could get my free appetizer at any time no strings attached. No purchase even necessary. I did another order because it would only let me choose one reward. When I tried to order my "no strings attached" order, and discovered apparently there is a string attracted. When I went inside to order the appetizer when I picked up my order I was told you can only use one "deal" a day. It's in the small print. But it wasn't in the small print. So I ordered my order thru grub hub never had an issue with this restaurant. But i ordered sticky wings and other entrees. The restaurant called me and told me they are out of wings would I like to substitute and I said no thank you you can just take it out of my order she said ok and we hung up but I was like wait should I get like some confirmation of a refund so I waited till my order got delivered. Which GrubHub did bring the order in a timely manner they did their part I took my order it was correct the wings weren't there but I looked at my app to put a review about the delivery and I still saw I had a charge for their wings. Seeing that this wasn't grubhub's fault I called the restaurant and said hey so what do I do about getting my refund on the wings you know I I called the restaurant and said hey so what do I do about getting my refund the sticky wings because I didn't want them because you said they had no wings and the young lady told me confusing like we have wings why would somebody call you and tell you we don't have wings and I'm like I recalled this number because I do the same number that called me on the phone so I was really confused so at that point I feel like okay someone lied they still got food I'm not here to get any in trouble you know I just wanted my money back so I said what if I just drive up there we can fix the shoe and then she said oh and someone hung up. What has happened? I ordered an egg roll up front and the General chicken. The server brought out an egg roll in a paper sleeve to my table.... How am I supposed to eat that with no plate, to napkins, no utensils? They no longer keep any of this by the drinks. Got my lunch next. So I have to say that I am extremely upset and even angry with this location today. I am from New York and we do not have Pei Wei up north, so I was very excited today when I saw that there was a Pei Wei 1 1/2 miles from my hotel. I walked all the way to the restaurant and back to my hotel, a 2 1/2 mile journey only to get back to my hotel to find that my order was incorrect. It was a simple order, it was not complicated it was the Thai basil chicken and cashews with fried rice. When I arrived at the restaurant, there were only two people sitting in the restaurant. The place was empty, there was only one person on line in front of me and yet they still managed to mess up my order. The place was not even busy. By the time I got back to my hotel I was famished and so excited to open up my meal only to find that my order was wrong. I ordered the Thai chicken with fried rice instead they gave me brown rice. Now I wouldn't mind so much, but they mix the Thai chicken and the brown rice so there's no way of not eating the brown rice. Now if it had come in a separate container, I could've just not eaten the brown rice, which by the way I detest. By the time I got back to my hotel the chicken and the brown rice were all mixed together and I could not avoid eating the brown rice and being I hate brown rice the meal was ruined and actually had to go in the garbage. $14.00 in the trash. The receipt clearly says cashew chicken with fried rice, that's the ticket that was rung up, but because people don't read and pay attention and no one has attention to detail anymore my order was messed up. Now being I just walked 2 1/2 miles I wasn't gonna go back to the store to return it. This was my last visit to that location and probably the chain. I will say though that the cashier was very pleasant, it's not her fault, as she clearly rang up my order properly. read more

I usually have a really good experience with Pei Wei and this location in particular, but today was a tad disappointing. After waiting a very long time for them to re-open their dining areas, I decided to stop in for an old favorite for lunch today. I was a bit disappointed to see major changes in their menu and to see a few old favorites gone. I guess that is how you keep your edge in a competitive business like the restaurant industry, but dang, when you really like a certain dish, you cannot help but mourn its demise. Anyway, today I tried the Beef Lo Mein and an Egg Roll. It is a fine offering from Pei Wei with just slightly crispy beef slices tossed in tender noodles, but the vegetables were chopped very finely, something I do not recall experiencing before. Maybe it was just this dish, but I remember bite size vegetables tossed in with your protein of choice, perfectly cooked to enhance the meal. I just did not get that feel with this dish. Also, there was no tea. That is one thing I loved about Pei-Wei was their fresh brewed tea with an orange slice tossed in, but alas Covid ruins everything and all I was left with was soft drinks to quench my thirst. read more

Honestly, I went in with low expectations for some kind of cold Asian food buffet. Don't know why. Came away impressed by menu options, preparation and taste. I usually don't like places where you have to stand in line and order, but when my daughter and I went in, there was no line! I ordered some pork egg rolls as an appy. My daughter ordered the caramel chicken with white rice, and I opted for the Pad Thai. We both got the "original" portions, as opposed to the small. It was a lot of food, and we ended up with take home. They have those iconic Asian food take-out boxes available by the drink machine for the taking. Nice touch. As you order, you are given a number and your drink glasses and are free to find a seat. My only negative was that a bunch of the tables had not been cleaned, and we had to search for a clean table. Our food was brought out within 10 minutes, nice and hot. You are given a set of chopsticks, but there are forks available. I loved the drink dispensing machine. Huge selection, and you just push a button to select a specific drink (they had Diet Dr. Pepper, yea), and then it fills your cup. My Pad Thai was as good as I've had in a while, and the caramel chicken was good as well. For our 2 large entree, pork egg rolls, and 2 drinks, we were set back $23. Very reasonable for 2 people, meets my price/quality ratio sweet spot. I will definitely be back. read more

Our visit was somewhat disappointing. My wife and I both ordered spring rolls and hot and sour soup. It wasn't that the food was bad, it was the spring rolls and soup were both served luke warm.
