Matthew was amazingly helpful today! He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu! We will be back!! P.S. The cookies are amazing!

Torchy's Taco, conveniently located in Burleson by HEB. It is a popular place for all ages. They even have a wet bar, the bartender, Kristen is a sweet young lady and makes an awesome drink. All the staff members are helpful and friendly. There is a variety of food to choose from. Its like fast food upgraded, they bring it to your table with a smile. You can dine in or out. Fresh produce and meat. The flavors jump out and dance in your mouth. That's a good thing ! Please Note: we were so hungry that taking food photos were thought of AFTER we ate our meals. Yet pictures of our empty trays were taken. LOL The establishment is very clean ! I highly recommend Torchy's Taco. Have a great day read more

Ok Torchy's I love you and your food but you're losing a star. The new self serve kiosks are not good. Everyone needs help with them and it takes out the personal touch. It has not speed up the line and every time I'm here now I see someone frustrated with them. You can't use your gold card at them or military discount. So many new issues to save paying a person to take the orders. Will I keep coming yes....will I be using the kiosks, NO! read more

Do not recommend !!!! Rosas Cafe across the street is 1,000 times better and half the price read more

I really dislike giving bad reviews. I like Torchys. We come here maybe a couple times a month. This may be the last time. They never get my order right. Cilantro. I'm one of those people who taste dirty soapy dishwater and it's repulsive. I order my food without cilantro. I explain when I order it. It's never right. I could send it back, but after waiting almost half an hour for a taco, I don't have the patience to wait again. I have things to do today. Service is good. People are friendly. Restaurant is clean. It's just the cilantro. After multiple tries, It's enough to keep me away. read more

I'm still a fan of this Torchy's! They changed their menu recently, but only a few items changed, and most importantly, the food is still great! The service is excellent here, and the restaurant is always clean. Torchy's is our go-to place for tacos in the DFW area....give them a try! read more

I'm a sucker for good barbacoa tacos, and these did not disappoint. The meat is rich and savory, perfectly balanced with fresh lime, onion, and cilantro for the ultimate bite. Pro tip: eat them right away before the tortilla gives out--totally worth it! Service is always quick. read more

The food is amazing. I had crossroads tacos. Yumm. I'll make sure to come back. No drive through window, but it's worth it

Cool thing about this particular Torchy's location is that I can walk to it! Always good service here. I'm more of a traditional taco lover but their hillbilly Queso is THE BOMB! I usually swing in for a pint or two and chow down on a small bowl. read more

Overall this Torchy's is good. Never have had a problem with the food. Tacos are as tasty and warm as you'd hope. The staff upfront have always been kind and responsive. Additionally, the restaurant usually seems to be kept clean. Only gripe I have, however, is that their pickup takes quite a long time for what is essentially fast-food. I'm usually in the area when I order pickup and 35 minutes as the shortest amount of time offered for pickup for 4 tacos is frustrating, especially when the restaurant is not crowded. That said, I really can't take more than 1 star away from this location since the staff are apologetic about the wait and usually compensate with a free drink. read more

02/23/23 Thursday 5:50 pm. The Baja shrimp taco was very good and should have been hot instead of barely warm. The chips and green chile cheese very good, medium spice folks. The democrat (beef barbacoa) was dry and the meat had no seasoning whatsoever like old beef that had been sitting in the fridge too long. It was gross! The republican which had sausage was okay. Had a Torchy's punch adult beverage. Was like a pineapple punch not bad. Overall average meal. I really wanted to love this place. Service was fast. I might give it another try. Oh yeah and parking is terrible!! You have been advised accordingly. read more

It has been a year since my last bad episode with this location. Last Friday my family and I tried this location again and had a great experience. The service seemed to be working as it should ( I've been used to the service in Austin, OUTSTANDING!). I went today Sunday, and my wife and I waited 50 minutes for 3 breakfast tacos AND NEVER RECEIVED THEM! When we witnessed everyone that came in after us being served we had to ask where our food was. The order was forgotten. Enough said, this location is the worst Torchys I have ever had the displeasure of going to. I WILL NEVER TRY THIS LOCATION AGAIN. I have learned my lesson. read more

Yummy food! This location is always consistently good, ok wait times and clean and friendly. Tacos are large and they don't skimp on the fillings. Once in a while the special taco for the month is good but I have been largely disappointed in them. I like to stick with the Democrat or the Fried Avacado. And the Hillbilly Queso is amazing! I don't typically like queso at all but this one is so good! read more

This has to be the absolute best small town Torchy's out there folks!! Fabulous Taco of the Month, great service and the GREATEST bartender in town!! Seriously...,Kara won bartender of the year for Torchy's Burleson!! Kara is the BEST!! read more

We walked in 45 minutes before they closed & was rushed out as soon as we got our food. We also left 20 percent tip. One of the employees came outside as soon as we sat down with a leaf blower. Then next employee I believe was the manager turned off the TVs making it very obvious she wanted us to leave. It wasn't even closing time yet. My food was cold. The staff was very rude and made us feel unwelcome. We will not be returning to this location. read more

The food here is so delicious. The tacos are stuffed full! Order a second tortilla and make two out of one!

First time at torchy's and absolutely enjoyed my tacos and I can order it on the app!!! Great service, and food

Every time I go here the staff is so inept. I'm done, not going back. They do not know the menu, if asked about substitution they have no clue. I ordered a Sunday drink special & the bartender didn't have a clue. I told her it was on the menu. She had to look at the menu because she said she didn't know the specials. I asked for a floater to go with it, she didn't know what a floater shot was. It's a self serve and they expect tips. I'll never, ever go back! Rosas & Fuzzy's is right down the street. Also, the queso came out cold and grainy too. Done, done, done! read more

We used Torchy's Tacos for a luncheon at our hospital, and as someone who schedules between 2 - 5 catering orders a week, I was EXTREMELY PLEASED and ASTONISHED at the level of customer service provided, the quality of the food, the level of organization and packaging of the items delivered, and the communication from the staff regarding our order, the delivery, and follow-up to ensure we received everything we needed. I'd like to specifically call out Tim Critchlow and Rachel Ybarra, who went above and beyond to ensure our luncheon was a success. The food arrived piping hot, was absolutely delicious, and Rachel followed up to see how Torchy's can continue to partner with us for future catering needs, as well as ways they can support and celebrate our staff in the future. I knew I loved Torchy's, but now they're at the top of my list of places to cater from in the future! read more

Another stellar experience ordering online! The order wasn't quite right, but that was a comparatively minor issue. I did my online order, 30-minutes after it was supposed to be ready! If Torchys isn't going to make a good-faith effort to service pickup orders, they need to quit offering them. read more

I was so excited to have a Torchy's open close to my house. We've dined in several times but generally take out. The food has always been good but I've got to dock the stars since 3 times in a row the order has been wrong when I got home. Make sure you check it! read more

I had to say something good about this place and the bartender. I go and order our food and while I'm waiting get a drink. I wish I could remember her name but GREAT SERVICE!!! And I have to say get in there before the end of this month and have you a SCALLYWAG!! Very good! read more

Extremely overpriced and will make your stomach hurt worse than anything you've ever had.

The bartender on this day was eating behind the bar, understandable in a way but never once did she wash her hand when handling our drinks! She was putting her fingers in her mouth picking out the chips from her teeth that she just consumed! I order a ranch water because she said she can make one, it was sooo sour that it tasted more like a margarita, I asked for cherry syrup and I got a drop, I will never order a drink from this bartender again! Food is always amazing that is why we come back but after seeing what we saw it looks pretty promising that we will not be visiting as much! Managers need to be more watchful of their employees! read more
