All the staff members are helpful and friendly. There is a variety of food to choose from. Its like fast food upgraded, they bring it to your table with a smile. You can dine in or out. I really dislike giving bad reviews. I like Torchys. We come here maybe a couple times a month. This may be the last time. They never get my order right. Cilantro. I'm one of those people who taste dirty soapy dishwater and it's repulsive. I order my food without cilantro. I explain when I order it. It's never right. Overall this Torchy's is good. Never have had a problem with the food. Tacos are as tasty and warm as you'd hope. The staff upfront have always been kind and responsive. Additionally, the restaurant usually seems to be kept clean. Only gripe I have, however, is that their pickup takes quite a long time for what is essentially fast-food. I'm usually in the area when I order pickup and 35 minutes as the shortest amount of time offered for pickup for 4 tacos is frustrating, especially when the restaurant is not crowded. That said, I really can't take more than 1 star away from this location since the staff are apologetic about the wait and usually compensate with a free drink. read more

It has been a year since my last bad episode with this location. Last Friday my family and I tried this location again and had a great experience. The service seemed to be working as it should ( I've been used to the service in Austin, OUTSTANDING!). I went today Sunday, and my wife and I waited 50 minutes for 3 breakfast tacos AND NEVER RECEIVED THEM! When we witnessed everyone that came in after us being served we had to ask where our food was. The order was forgotten. Enough said, this location is the worst Torchys I have ever had the displeasure of going to. I WILL NEVER TRY THIS LOCATION AGAIN. I have learned my lesson. read more

The democrat (beef barbacoa) was dry and the meat had no seasoning whatsoever like old beef that had been sitting in the fridge too long. It was gross! The republican which had sausage was okay. Yummy food! This location is always consistently good, ok wait times and clean and friendly. Tacos are large and they don't skimp on the fillings. Once in a while the special taco for the month is good but I have been largely disappointed in them. I like to stick with the Democrat or the Fried Avacado. And the Hillbilly Queso is amazing! We have been regulars of Torchy's for quite awhile During this time we always ordered our margs with our food. Never were we told to go to the bar to order separately until a month ago ... The cashier told us she didn't "like" to take drink orders as it would interfere with their tips. However come to find out that the person before us in line ordered a drink with her at the front. Why us?? We went to the bar which was packed mind you , begrudgingly. We also asked to speak to the manager and explained why we were upset as this had never been an issue before. He said that they are supposed to start doing that and she would talk to the cashier about not being consistent in on whose drinks orders she would and would not take. He came back and tried to chat us up and said he talked to her and said numerous times about how he told her she's "not in trouble ". Apparently he was more concerned about not upsetting us and not her . Although he apologized for the lack of consistency on the cashiers part. .... He offered us nothing for our inconvenience )queso, churros , a taco for next time etc. Not that we wanted free food, but it would have been a positive gesture and good customer service. Now there is no signage asking to order drinks at the bar and we have spoken to other friends who go there and always order their drinks at the front. So what's going on ? We've been in the service industry and I find it hard to believe that an establishment like Torchy's doesn't have a mechanism in their sales reporting to be able to separate alcohol sales for tipping purposes. But the thing that's most irritating was the cashier's approach to us when she said she doesn't "like" to take alcohol orders as well as the managers approach to us that he was more concerned about upsetting the cashier and did nothing to take care of us the customer. The bartender on this day was eating behind the bar, understandable in a way but never once did she wash her hand when handling our drinks! She was putting her fingers in her mouth picking out the chips from her teeth that she just consumed! I order a ranch water because she said she can make one, it was sooo sour that it tasted more like a margarita, I asked for cherry syrup and I got a drop, I will never order a drink from this bartender again!
