I arrived just after they opened, needing a box of sandwiches. The young man in charge had to call his manager to be sure how to put the order in computer, but after that, he and his trainee worked quickly on my order. I love subway. I always get great service. Especially the location on Hulen. I recently moved over close to Bryant Irwin so I've had dealings 3 times with this store. Each time they are very rude and act like it's punishment to be there. I spoke to the manager Beth today saying if I was going to complain she could not speak to me. I ordered on the subway app and never received my two footling sandwiches. A $27.49 order. Beth said once the delivery driver picks up the order they are no longer responsible. But at first conversation she had no idea which company the driver worked for . After asking her to speak to her owner she all of the sudden remembers looking at his Door Dash name tag but didn't recall his name. WOW! My spouse and I came here for dinner tonight, our first ever time dining in at this location but we have ordered mobile orders from this location for years as we live close by. I would first like to note that the store was clean, all of the tables were fresh and ready to be sat at, the chip cart was fully stocked and freshly faced, the cups, straws and lids were fully stocked and the sandwich line was clean. Some veggie items on the line were a little low, but nothing concerning for prime dinner time rush and the mobile orders they had coming through, plus their in house orders. My wife ordered the chicken bacon ranch footlong and I chose the oven roasted turkey and ham. The service we received was truly top notch from both of the gentlemen who served us; the one who personally crafted my sandwich is here every time I come in and truly shines in his attention to detail and customer service. After a stellar customer service experience where we were both asked to confirm that both sandwiches had been crafted to our definition of perfection; the QUALITY of these sandwiches was amazing! The bread was fresh, the veggies were crisp, the cheese was perfectly melted and the meat portion was a decent size. A personal bonus for me was the sprite from their soda fountain was CRISPY (trust me, the all caps on CRISPY is necessary). My partner chose the lemonade and it was also delicious. To finish off our meal we tried the new, seasonal, double chocolate peppermint fudge footlong cookie which was surprisingly moist, perfectly minty and packed with white chocolate chips and warmed freshly for us. We will definitely be returning for more dine in experiences at this location in the future as well as continuing to make this our sole spot for mobile ordering. I love Subway that I basically eat here once a week if not twice sometimes. Today was my first time at this location. My sandwich was great as always but the 2 employees working complained the whole time. I get that it was lunch time and it was very busy. They both said they were ready to quit and walk out. That is not something the customer wants to hear. I get it, it's busy, you're tired but you did come to work. Don't make us feel guilty coming in here. read more

PLEASE DO NOT EAT AT THIS SUBWAY. RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! A few weeks ago I called this store to do a to go order. They informed me they do not do to go orders. I thought that was odd, so I emailed someone asking if this is normal. I thought every Subway took to go orders. This was mostly just a question though, not a complaint. I was told they should have taken the to go order. Decided to give it another try. Ordered a chicken salad sandwich and left. Chicken salad was HORRIBLE! Apples were mealy and raisins were soggy. It was disgusting. I have had this before and this is not normal. I called and the manager told me to come in and she would give me a refund, so today I go in to get that. The other manager knew nothing about it. She was clearly irritated, but she called the other manager to see if she told me I could have a refund. When she gets done with the call, she throws the phone down (literally THROWS the phone) and shakes her head while she is reluctantly giving me my $4 back. I asked her what the problem was and she informs me that the other manager should have told her what was going on before I came in and also informs me that I had already complained about that store once and they don't usually have problems with the same customer. REALLY? With that attitude they are lucky to have ANY customers. I wasn't even mad yesterday. I just didn't think I should have to pay for a gross, digusting, wet, soggy mess that I couldn't eat. Didn't complain to anyone. Simply asked the manager to make it right. I get my $4 and leave and a lady (another customer) comes out behind me and comes to my car window and asks me if they were just rude to me. I said yes and she said they were rude to them too. They were going to report them too! Unbelievable! Pretty sad. Please take your business to a Subway who appreciates their customers. This one doesn't and they have no idea how to treat customers. There are Subways everywhere. It will be worth going a couple of blocks further to see a friendly manager instead of one with a permanent frown on her face! She is bitter about something, but she needs to leave it at home and quit taking out on paying customers - we are why she has a job. I'd give it no stars if I could. Nothing says unhealthy than finding a 5/6inch long dark hair in the middle of my foot long sandwhich. Never eating there again. Rather go spend more money elsewhere with little food in return than spending my meal time throwing up.
