My wife and I stopped in after church and this location was very close to our downtown church. We were both in the mood for a sub. When we arrived, the parking lot wasn't full at all. I am sure, due to the location, the restaurant is very busy during the weekdays with all the medical facilities close by. On the weekends, it's sort of laid back. My wife ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch on white, and I ordered the Italian on wheat. Both of our sandwiches were SO delicious and prepared just like we wanted. Wanted something for lunch and saw that this location was nearby. I ordered an Italian combo with salt and vinegar chips and pineapple sprite. I asked that jalapenos and banana peppers be added but totally forgot to request spicy mustard. The restaurant was clean and multiple employees greeted me upon entry. The sandwich was pretty good and I was surprised by how soft the bread was. I'll definitely be back. read more

Stopped in during lunch hours during the week for a To Go order. There are numerous tables to eat at and two TVs that were quietly showing baseball. It was very busy but not crowded, loud, or chaotic. There was one person in front of me ordering when I got there and I was quickly able to order. The staff were friendly, assisting customers, making the food & visibly cleaning the dining area. I ordered a medium turkey bacon ranch and it was very good. There was a display at the end of the counter that had a variety of hot sauces and mustards - and probably more sauces that I didn't pay attention to. A good sandwich and quick experience at a good price. read more

I eat at firehouse all the time and this was the first time at this location but it was the best sub I've ever had. The people here seem to take things more seriously and are super nice. A sandwich without veggies is kinda boring, and I thought the cheese sauce to be rather salty (but I will admit to a salt sensitivity). We won't be having this particular sandwich again. But Firehouse will remain on our "go to" list when craving a hot sub. Other than that, good location and the same cheerful staff I have come to appreciate at Firehouse Subs. A quick note on the philanthropic aspect (see link above), this location did not ask me to "donate the change", rather they asked if we wanted to "add a donation", and the options were dollar amounts, $2, $3, $5, etc. I get it, it's always going to be a bigger number than "the change", but I was taken aback. Parting with change has always been easy for me, either by tossing it in a bucket, or rounding up a number. But this caught us off guard, so we passed. I feel kinda bad about that, so I'll make up for it next time. Bottom line: Still waiting for a cold day to try the chili. read more

There's a guy there who obviously gets overwhelmed during rush hour. Gets very rude and agitated for simply doing his job. Won't bother to look for pick up orders or try to help you. Obviously doesn't like his job but that's a personal problem. Ask the nice lady instead, she's prompt and won't start any trouble like the other guy. read more

I ordered a salad with extra dressing spoke to someone at the restaurant to ask for the extra dressing she told me no problem. Two minutes later I get a call from my door dash guy. They gave my salad and drinks to someone else. He put me on speaker and they proceeded to tell me there was nothing they can do. Wanted make me another salad told me I just needed to have my orders cancelled and do a new one. I chose to go a different route with my food. And highly recommend Dave's Hot chicken they got my order right and didn't give it to someone else and tell me they couldn't do anything. So don't use them for sure as delivery because if they screw up they are not going to take responsibility for giving it to the wrong person! read more

I enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich I had. Very good flavor and texture. The bread could have been a little less toasted for me but I'm guessing most people like that extra flavor. I wasn't offered a choice of whether or not it got toasted. I did feel safe there, because of all the police and other uniformed men and women that eat there. Lots of them coming in and out. They seemed like they were all frequent customers. Service was friendly and quick. I'll probably return here if I'm in the area again. This company's employees apparently don't know how to read a ticket because I have NEVER gotten a sandwich the way I ordered it. A gluten free italian, toasted. No onions, add cucumber, banana peppers, and deli mustard. How hard is that? I order the same EXACT thing, every time, and I usually have it delivered to me because I'm at work, so I can't just send it back. Its not a technology error, because regardless of whether I call in my order myself, order online, or send someone, it has been wrong, in some way, EVERY TIME. Whats even more unbelievable is that it happens at every location I've been to. I have been a server in the food industry for 8 years, it takes A LOT for me to lose my patience with food service workers, and I rarely leave reviews, but this is ridiculous. I can pick off onions, whatever, but the cucumbers and banana peppers, out of probably close to 15 orders, I have gotten them MAYBE 3 times, and only once were they BOTH on there. When I call to tell the store, the only thing they say is "oh I'm sorry about that" as if sorry makes me feel any better when I'm 7 months pregnant and just want a sandwich made how I ordered it. Whhhaaaaatttt's up guys? GAINS guy back at it again to tell about my GAINS adventures. After someone had stolen my basketball from 24 Hr Fitness while I was hooping it up with the big boys, I felt like I had to eat my sorrows away. Oh...and replace the calories I lost because I'm in it to win it...GAINS that is. I can tell you now I am a solid 150 lbs, even after losing water weight. I can attribute a lot of that to Firehouse Subs, where they build men out of smaller men. I usually go for the Club or the "Hero", because I want to be a hero by the time I go through puberty. I'm a late bloomer. I will say, all of their sandwiches I order (I usually ask for everything on it because I ain't scared of no fat) are on the sweet side and I think it's because of the meat, but I'm not sure. Also, I wish they included two pickles with the large sandwich, as one flaccid pickle is not enough to satisfy my want for that sweet, long, vinergary, salty....ahem. If a manager wants to message underneath this review to let me know about why the sandwiches are sweet and offer me a free sandwich, I'm down. I usually get the large combo for every order. Reason being it lets me have two meals. Remember, I am 150 lbs of raging animal. So it doesn't take much food for me to get GAINS. Annnnyways, I'd recommend this place. Maybe the worst firehouse subs location I've ever been to. did not have any hot sauces other than A1 sauce, the firehouse captain Sorensens sauce, cholula, and sriracha. No tea available many of the tables were dirty and the staff was not at all friendly. Overall I could've dealt with all of this if they at least had the selection of hot sauces I've come to love and is the reason I keep coming back. I will not be back at this location again. I just wrote a review about a sub I purchased today and now I need to followup with another review about the salad I got. The salad was OK, greens, tomato, cuke were fresh/crisp although there was no peppericini which was listed as an ingredient. Another missing item like the cheese on my sub. However, my main criticism was the dressing. They didn't have any blue cheese-which is a pretty basic offering-so I went with Italian. The dressing was a D-, not even comparable to Walmart's Great Value brand or tasty packet dressings that come with fast food salads. There were no bits of garlic, herbs, pepper or anything in it. Everyone knows the dressing makes the salad, right? This was the cheapest, worst Italian dressing I've ever tasted. Negated the taste of an otherwise decent side salad. I would give no stars if I could for this location. I placed an online order on 2/26/23, and my wife walked in to pick it up. She was ignored while she was in there and when she spoke to an employee about it, two other employees argued with her, and one called her a "Karen." Only 1 sandwich was made properly, the rest weren't, and an item was left off. I filled out a survey, and the General Manager insinuated my wife was lying about the incident, claimed the other customers were helped because my wife didn't know where to stand, and told me that I could have my money back if I came back. (It was never addressed why NONE of the employees offered to help her. She was in a neck brace, so I would think a restaurant started by firefighters would have compassion). Nope. I don't need the money that badly, and I don't need this restaurant. My wife wouldn't lie about this. I also have two brothers who were firefighters. One retired, and the other died in the line of duty, so I have tried to help this establishment, but I definitely won't be giving this store anymore of my business. read more

I have not had a bad sub there ever!! Every time anyone goes in, there are friendly staff greeting people and smiling. There are staff members going around cleaning at all times and making sure all the customers are enjoying their meal. The subs may be a little more expensive then subway, but worth every penny! Talk to a Stephanie was was very rude and not willing to help, that's what you get when you just put people in position they are not qualified to do.
