If anything, that actually added to the experience for her. She liked the vibe and inside decor, not because she partakes in cannabis use, but she's not familiar with the 420 culture in the first place so it all kind of stood out. I agree with that as well. The design plays into the theme well! This of course extends to the menu as well. All sandwiches are named after different strains of weed. I got the Kali Mist - a spicy turkey club - on white and my mom got the KGB - a roast beef and horseradish sandich - on garlic herb. As opposed to small, medium, large, the sizes are nug, pinner, and blunt. We both got nug sizes since we weren't too hungry at the time but still wanted to try. Long story short, the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. They're all toasted so the bread provides a great, warm base. The avocado on the Kali Mist stood out for me, providing a nice rich flavor and texture amongst everything else. I tried a bit of the KGB as well and the horseradish gives a nice contrast to the flavorful roast beef. Overall, I would definitely come back again to try out more of the sandwiches.

My first try, and we went on 4/20 to catch a munchies discount!…read more We were happy with the cost, that's for sure. This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.

The Chinese and Mexican Salads are both amazing! Worth the money! The chicken salad in the case or on the sandwich is another favorite! Get the Blums cake! It is worth every calorie. This most recent visit we skipped it in favor of the strawberry cake which was stale and a big let down. I called later to let them know it should probably be pulled and should have been so a day or so earlier. I get it--it's hard to keep cake fresh without a lot of preservatives, but even at room temp it was stale. Blums cake will never let you down, though. Best to go on a day when patio dining works with the weather because inside can be loud and crowded at lunch! It's a very popular place!

My mom had half a turkey sandwich with tomato soup and I had half of a chicken Panini with a bowl of chili.! The service was quick and the food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back to try other items.

There's something for EVERYONE!! It's about time I went to Spiral Diner! My friend wanted to treat me and I was pleasantly surprised! Can't believe I've been sleeping on Spiral like this! They were highlighting their #WokThisWay menu with Asian Inspired Meals which featured: Rice Bowls: Fried tofu or soy chik'n with orange or teriyaki sauce, served over jasmine rice and broccoli. Fried Rice Bowl: Mixed veggie fried rice with Just Egg, topped with protein and a spicy cucumber salad. Beef & Broccoli: Seitan-based beef in a savory sauce with rice and cucumber salad. Sides: Korean braised potatoes (garlic-sesame) and stir-fried green beans. I ordered the Fried Rice Bowl with Orange Chikn and a side of Green Beans! omg! My friend got their Tofu Deli Sandwich. Near the end of our meal we had a hard time finding a server to check us out I had the breakfast burrito and thought it was yummy! Had the tight seasoning to make for a convincing chorizo taste. I appreciated that it wasn't too potatoey or cheesy, had an overall good balance of ingredients. My partner had the baked potato grilled cheese which was also quite good from the bite I tried. The fake chicken they used in particular had a good Smokey flavor Overall I think it's a spot worth going for if you're looking for vegan comfort food. Theres a wide variety of options, to be honest a lot of it wasn't super inspiring to me, but this isn't super my cuisine. The service being slow combined with that is enough for me to drop it down slightly, but not too much

It was my mom's birthday and she was in the mood for Italian. I had heard good things about Pie Tap…read moreso Pie Tap it was! We came in on a cold Monday night. We parked at street parking across the restaurant without issue. Inside, we were promptly seated. The inside is nice and dim with an open kitchen. We started the night off with the Fondue. The rosemary buffs were delicious and the perfect vehicle for the two different dips - goat cheese fondue and pecan pepper jam. I really enjoyed the goat cheese. It was nice and hearty, pairing very well with the bread. The pepper jam added a sweet touch but I'm more a savory person so I was more than content with the cheese itself. My mom got the papparadelle and bolognese while I got the sausage pizza. The papparadelle was nice and al dente. It paired well with the bolognese sauce. However, I felt it was warm when it came out so it got cold quickly. The sausage pizza was delicious! The star of the pie were easily the carmelized onions - added such a perfect level of sweetness that it really elevated the whole dish. The crust also went well with the cheese from the fondue. At this point in the evening, we were feeling pretty full. Nonetheless, our waiter, Seamus, knew it was my mom's birthday. With that in mind, he treated us to the donuts. They came with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam. Both were good. I personally preferred the chocolate since that's what I usually lean more towards. We thought it was such a nice gesture. The night was that much more special because of Seamus. Overall, althrough everything wasn't perfect (not that it should have been), the work and effort was clearly there. Looking forward to coming back again one day.
