Dans Bagels is a great new addition to the area! The line was noticeable but moved quickly thanks to how organized everything is. It's super easy to walk up, check out all the options, and place your order. The space is very clean and designed for grab-and-go, which works perfectly for the location. Parking was also surprisingly easy. We ordered the bacon, egg & cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel and the Nova lox on a gluten-free bagel, both were absolutely delicious. Easily the worst bagel experience ever. I ordered two cinnamon sugar bagels, one with plain cream cheese the other with strawberry. When I got them home, my wife asked why I got her a garlic bagel. Then I tasted mine, and it too tasted like garlic, with just a hint of cinnamon. My strawberry smear was so weak it tasted like plain cream cheese. I don't know if Dan's Bages doesn't clean its slicer or knives, or how close attention you pay to the taste of your bagels and cream cheese. But, I will not be back. Terrible bagel, terrible experience. UPDATE The management responded quickly to my complaint, refunded my purchase, and says she has addressed the taste/equipment problem with the staff. She invited me back in the future to see if the changes were reflected in the taste of the product. We will give it another try. I am upping the rating to three stars, for now. My husband and I have been here twice and both times our orders were wrong. First time my husband ordered a sesame bagel and ended up with poppyseed. Second time asked for one of the bagels to be toasted only to get home and find it not toasted. As far as taste, bagels are fine but don't think anything special or worth the premium. Smear is a bit lite too. Also, don't expect this to be a place to sit down and enjoy your bagel- very much grab and go. Overall, don't understand the hype and not worth the premium price. Honestly, a bit disappointed with the response from the owner hence reducing another star. You can only use the excuse of a soft opening for so long and tbh, it's a lack of good management and failed ownership that causes the issues. read more

Love love love the sourdough bagels here! The cheddar jalapeño is balanced and actually spicy which I love! I came during soft opening and Dan actually took a moment to explain what makes them so special which means so much. Coming from North Fort Worth I'm happy to see them expanding through the metroplex. This location is large enough to house the long lines! There are no tables inside but that leaves more space for patrons to line up. There are some benches outside along with plenty of parking. Only orderd a bacon egg and cheese. Again it feels like it's personal. The bacon was raw and the cheese was so cold it could have been fresh out of the fridge. When you ask for something double toasted it doesn't mean dont toast it. The service was terrible every good morning felt forced and it seems this is the type of treatment when you don't greet them back exactly How they expect. All in all a waste of 10 bucks and a waste of my entire morning coming up there just to be Bent over. The way they handed me my stuff is almost like they just threw it at me and told me to gtfo. Not that they did but this is what is thought with the additude they are betraying. I am a HUGE fan of Russ and Daughters in NYC. So when this place opened I had to try. It was good. Very solid for Texas. I had an everything bagel with pastrami lox, scallion cream cheese, and tomato - my exact order from R&D. Everything bagel was a little heavy on the salt. Lox were good, but of course not smoked and sliced fresh. Scallion cream cheese hit. The bagel itself was good, although not quite a true NYC bagel IMO. We also tried a blueberry pie bagel with strawberry cream cheese. They offer a nice a variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors. They have breakfast sandwiches, too. There is one small case of gluten free bagels with a couple of flavor options. I would go back. Dan's does a nice job for bagels in Texas. Take out only. read more

Was recommended to me by a few people. Very fast service and super nice staff. But honestly didn't love the bagels that much. Definitely liked the bacon eggs and cheese over the lox version. We came here early, expecting a long line, but I guess we got here at just the right time. 730 on a cold morning. AnyWho, I had a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a hard roll with salt, pepper and ketchup and everything bagel and my wife had a plain bagel with cream cheese and tomato. The flavor of the plain bagel was delicious, my wife liked that they put cream cheese on both sides of the bagel, as well as the tomato. I had the Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a hard roll with salt, pepper and ketchup first, and I will say that it had the taste of home, i.e. New Jersey, however... The hard role is a little bit different than the Kaiser roll we get in New Jersey. It was a bit blonde, but it was the right flavor. I would have liked the Taylor ham cooked a little bit more, but, I'm probably over picky as I've eaten thousands of them in New Jersey. Overall, this was still a damn good Taylor, ham egg and cheese on a hard roll of ketchup. I then followed that up because calories are my friend, with the everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. I thought it was very good. The bagel was nice and chewy as it should be, and the everything stuff that was on it was quite plentiful. One of the best bagel meals I've had. Pretty basic turkey bacon club, but tasted incredibly fresh. Large amount of toppings, customized with red onion and dill, really good quality dill. Nice little joint, super clean, friendly with fast service. Highly recommend and will be back. read more

We love thee, Dan's Bagels!!! Words cannot explain how DELICIOUSLY PERFECT your bagels are - crisp outside, chewy inside, & lots of flavor options (RECOMMEND: Sesame, Rosemary/Salt, & Onion). Also, your cream cheese is EPIC - fluffy but not whipped (how do you do that?!). You can choose slicing & toasting or choose a whole bagel. Service is AWESOME - quick & nice. TIP 1: Inside is bright white & so clean, but there is no seating so come prepared to leave with your goodies. TIP 2: The line on the weekend can get LONG but do not fear bc it moves VERY fast. It's nice to see a new bagel shop other than the chain stores. As we arrived, there was a line but not terribly long. There were a good variety as well as decent menu choices for both breakfast and lunch. We tried both and it hit the spot. I got the Rueben style bagel sandwich. Both were priced fair so I would come back. Dan was out and about explaining the bagels (they are all sourdough and made with a 3 day fermenting process). My only advice would be adding a few small tables and chairs inside and outside to make it a bit more cozy. Since it is close enough to TCU, it could potentially be a walkable or biking destination. read more

This was the worst customer service experience I've had post COVID- and that bar was already in hell. The woman taking my order was not familiar with the menu at all and didn't know how to work the tablet they use to take orders and charge payment. They just opened, her coworker stepped in to help- fine, not the end of the world. Finally my order gets called and they tell me they only made 1 of the 2 sandwiches because they had run out of the bagel I ordered and asked if I wanted a refund or a different bagel. I stood waiting for 10 minutes while I watched the employees standing around chit chatting. No one thought to come ask me at any point during the time they were making the other sandwich? When I asked why no one came to ask me earlier the answer was "I don't know"- no sorry for the delay/inconvenience and absolutely no refund or other option offered. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for them to make the 2nd sandwich. When I got home there was a hair in one of them. Y'all just opened and as someone who's gone to a lot of bagel spots in Florida and New York here is the feedback 1. Update your listing on Apple Maps. You have 2 locations showing in the same place. This can lead to confusion. Also it pops up as two different phone numbers. Figure out which one to delete. Also no one picks up the phone? "If you stop answering the phone, people stop calling," is a widely circulated motivational or business saying 2. Online orders. I'm sure your point of sale system can integrate with this. There should be a way for people to place an order online. Waiting in line is ok but we live in the year 2025. When these issues are fixed I'll update this rating read more

This place is going to be a new staple for me! I heard great things about the rosemary salt bagel so, of course, I had to try. It did not disappoint and I cannot wait to go back!! stopped by dan's bagels after seeing a ton of videos promoting it on tiktok and instagram this morning. the line was wrapped around the building and took about 25 minutes of waiting before placing our order (felt very true to the NYC experience). we got two bagels and a breakfast sandwich. everything was delicious and fresh! I will say the interior of the bagel shop is a bit lacking and feels clinical but i'm sure they will decorate more as time goes on. read more

High quality fresh sourdough bagels from Dan's is our favorite morning and lunch meal! They are always friendly and smiling- even when the line is long. Today there was no line! I was really debating whether or not to give Dans 3 or 4 because a bagel is what cures my hangover and I know some of yall can agree and it was not bad but it def didn't cure my hangover. I am a neighboring business owner to the Fort Worth location. I'm so happy that this location is finally open! Seems like it took quite some time! I have had the bagels twice now & the quality is very good! For my first experience I had an employee walk across the street to get us bagels & my order had my eveything bagel but with a cinnamon instead of plain smear so that was disappointing, but edible. Today I tried them again & tbh the website wasn't very user friendly! The only way I could figure out how to do an order for pick up was through Uber eats. My plan was to order ahead & grab it quickly before opening our business for the day. The "order ahead" time frame options were almost an hour ahead so I chose to order the bagel before I left home, about a 20 minute commute. Within a few minutes my order was ready even though it was quoted as 16 minutes. When I arrived to pick up my order, I found parking on the side of the building easily! However once I entered, there were probalby 30-40 people waiting inside & the owners were speaking to the crowd, so no activity was happening. Within a few minutes the activity resumed & I was able to go to the pickup counter to retrieve my order, by then it had been ready for pickup for more than 30 minutes! I had planned on purchasing an additional smear, which wasn't an option on Uber eats, but when inquiring to do so, it seemed complicated, would further delay my exit & I was already running late! Happily, my bagel had a generous portion. My toasted bagel was no long warm, but I still enjoyed it!! I think the order process should be tweaked as the order timeframe. inability to just place an order, pay for it, grab & go didn't work for me, I'm hopeful that those issues will be addressed!!
