I really struggled with this writing review. The donuts were small and cute and a perfect bite if you wanted something sweet and to go with your coffee. My coffee was enjoyable. I got the pumpkin spice to go with my pumpkin spice donut, and it wasn't overly sweet. My husband got the salted caramel coffee, but his coffee was on the sweeter side which neither of us enjoyed. We also got my kid a chocolate donut and she loved it. The shop is cute and has a little bit of seating and has plenty of windows to look out of if you stay at the shop to enjoy your treats. So why did I give them a 3? And why was this hard to write? This is America, we have the ability to sell what we want and do what we want. But as a woman of color I will probably not go to the shop anymore because of who they chose to honor with one of their donuts, I'll just keep it there. read more

When I walk by, I often am unsure if it is open so maybe the signage could be a little more obvious. A few chairs/tables outside could be a good addition to the store to bring in business. Donuts -- delicious! My friend Doordashed a half dozen donuts to me this morning for my birthday and it did not disappoint! I opened the box and was so amazed how beautiful and adorable they looked. I couldn't decide which donut to eat first! I eventually decided on the biscoff donut. One bite was like heaven! It was so moist, soft, flavorful, and not too sweet. It had the biscoff flavor that I love so much, but the cake donut really balanced it out well. I'm excited to try the other flavors and excited to actually stop by their shop. Stopped by on a quiet afternoon with the store not too busy. The store is very cutely decorated and a great place for a date but I opted for takeout. At baseline, I love cake donuts and the donuts were delicious, with a nice cakey texture. The icing was a little too sweet and cloying for my taste but overall was a delicious couple bites per donut. Even after holding on to them for a few days as I slowly ate my way through the box, it still tasted good and the donut didn't become stale or mushy. It's a little more expensive than I would like but no one else is doing this so a great experience to try if you can. I don't think I would go out of my way for them but will definitely stop by if I'm around the area. read more

Saw this place come up in my feed, and always ready to try a new donut place, I finally made it out one weekend morning. I can't really remember if there were any chairs and tables inside, but the business itself takes up most of the inside, so there might have been a couple small tables, but what the hell do I remember? Anyway, walk in door, right in front of you is a little display with the current donuts they are making that day. These are probably closer to a mini donut size, but I kinda felt they were a little bigger, especially since these are cake donuts, and they are obviously bigger (taller?) in size than a mini donut. The really good thing, is that they make your donuts to order. The plain cake donuts are already made and holding in a warmer or something. After you order, they prepare them. I got a chocolate icing, a maple bacon, a powdered sugar, and a Boston cream donut. Spoiler alert, they were all pretty damn good. The chocolate icing was some of the best I've had, it was really good, it was really dark icing but it wasn't over sweet, probably my most favorite. The maple bacon was next favorite, but the bacon kinda over weighed the maple, a little too savory maybe, but I would still get it again. The Boston cream had the chocolate icing, with a dollop of cream on top. I kinda mooshed the cream around before I ate it. I liked it, but the chocolate out weighed the cream mostly. The powdered sugar was good, but once you put your fingers on it, the powder gets a little slimy, so, not my favorite, probably would pass on it. The cake donuts by themselves are pretty good I imagine. I also got a small Americano and it was good as well. I think the donuts are maybe around $1.50 to $1.85? There's a two tier pricing system. Iced donuts are cheaper, the more elaborate are more expensive. Anyway, I think my four donuts and coffee came out to around $11, which honestly, seemed to be okay with me, cause the stuff is pretty good. Even tho they look small, these things are dense little donut bombs. I finished off all of them, but was good until dinner. Two should be plenty, four was packing it in. I was pretty miserable for awhile. Good stuff, will be going back from time to time. read more

If plain is not your thing, there are 34 (yes 34) topping choices like Maple Bacon, "TCU Spirit," Lemon Blueberry Crunch, Oreo, on and on! They also sell beverages - Metropolis brand coffee (including Frappuccinos), La Croix & Topo Chico, frozen lemonade, and hot chocolate. Decor is bright & fun! Service is fast & SO nice... definitely ask for donut topping recommendations :-) Parking is AWESOME bc they share with the Albertsons/Ace Hardware lot. Hours are super convenient. Have been wanting to try this shop ever since I saw some posts about it on social media! hopped down first thing on a weekend morning, was pleasantly surprised it wasn't a line out the door situation. Shop was small, not a lot of room to sit down, but I was already planning on getting to-go. Workers were very friendly and helpful, even noting i had forgotten a flavor I had mentioned when actually ordering. I got a full dozen of the specialty flavors. They were pretty good, only ding is some were a little lackluster in flavor. many tasted mainly like cake donut with a generic vanilla icing. Pretty sweet, so just be aware if you're not a sweets person! On the outside, they had a lot of variety, but in getting the dozen, I didn't feel I got more than 6-7 flavor profiles. Fun for just a single donut hit, here and there, don't know if I'd get a full dozen again. Overall, very cute shop, fun ideas and flavors, something for everyone! read more

We just tried this place and it was so good I had to write a review. Their cake donut is fluffy, rich, and fried perfectly. It has a little crisp on the outside, and rich flavor. I regretted not getting any plain ones, because it was so good I would have happily eaten one by itself. The biggest problem with a lot of creative donut places is that their base donut is poorly made, flavorless, or stale by the time you get it. This place doesn't have that problem! Their topping selection is creative and fresh- is addition to cereals and candy you can unusual twists like blueberry and pineapple upside down. The fruit flavors set off the flavor of the dough more, the Shirley Temple was my favorite. Their coffee isn't burned and doesn't have any off flavors, their donuts are delicious and the perfect size (not massive.) I hope the neighborhood can support this place, I plan on coming back a lot. read more

Tried this place again and while the donuts are tasty, the service is the slowest I've ever seen. Also, not super friendly. Needed to wash our hands in the bathroom before school and it was locked. They did nothing to help get it unlocked or offer a wet paper towel. Wanted to like and support local, but we just won't be back here. read more
