I've been coming to Busy B's Bakery since I was a teenager, in 2003. Their Bavarian cream pastries with crumbles on top are worth the extra drive. Been eating that pastry for over twenty years and it's still just as divine as the day I first tried them. Other flavors are good but when you have a favorite, it's hard to change it. The cinnamon rolls are fantastic. Other stuff is good too. The big downside is cash only. No debit or credit cards which is majorly disappointing. So you have to be careful going here and plan ahead. Hopefully they change this soon. read more

We come here for the fruit-filled kolaches and cinnamon rolls. They are simply amazing. For us this is so much closer than going to Czech Stop in West. Our favorite kolaches are cream cheese, apple, lemon, pumpkin, peach, apricot, and cherry. Busy Bee's is absolutely amazing! Delicious and super consistent pastries. The entire family loves them from cinnamon rolls to kolaches to sausage rolls. The best part is the owner. We were regulars when we lived in town for a couple of years and after being gone for nine years, when we returned she not only remembered us but she remembered exactly what our favorites were for each of us (apricot kolaches for my hubby and cranberry muffins for me)! Busy B's serves the best kolaches, comparable to the Czech Stop and Slovacek's in West, TX. They make a great pumpkin roll at Thanksgiving and you have to order, but do order one!
