But these cakes are moist and if you don't like fondant she can use icing and make it look like fondant!! Major plus because many don't like fondant and remove it when eaten!!! Unless you prefer fondant she can do that as well. Her cakes are reasonably priced and look beautiful!! The owner is honest and will go out of her way to design a cake just the way you want it. She also delivers and sets up so no worries or concerns there. She has plenty of platters to chose from for your cake also. We chose an elegant round platter. I give her 5 stars because I keep going to her for my cakes and she has a bakery now on Altamesa blvd close to Southwest High School. with many goodies to to stop and buy. My favorite are her cupcakes to go!! She had specials at times so follow her facebook Jovanny's cake Decor. One more thing she also gives decorating cake classes!! How neat is that!!

There are a million things you have to plan and worry about going awry on your wedding day and this was the one component that was just perfect. From ordering, asking questions, and pickup to cutting and eating - the process working with Hanna was seamless and comfortable. The cake itself was to die for. We went with an almond cake, blackberry filling and cream cheese frosting. This combination was insane! The cake was buttery, flavorful, nutty, nuanced and so rich and delicate. The filling was fresh, sweet, tart, and bright. The frostings were creamy, melt in your mouth goodness. The sweetness was so balanced that no one had a problem inhaling their slice. Might I say - this cake was even better the next day when I had time to myself and my now husband :) to sit down and enjoy a leftover slice with some hot tea. It was just such a memorable part of our entire weekend. Not that I even have to disclose but, obviously, the cake was gorgeous. I was absolutely hesitant to slice and ruin any of this incredibly detailed piping and decor but it cut like butter and tasted just as good as it looked. It was truly a perfect cake and you need one for your next event.

She is definitely not a people person. I was hesitated to write a review about her but i was there multiple times and her attitude tells me that i was bothering her also i called first and asked for the owners name and she not want to give it to me. the girl who answered was Sara thats what she said when she answered so i went to ck reviews and Lo and behold other people has complained about the same issues I have. I finally got the owners name its Sharon based on the reviews i read. I feel the that this bakery is or will continue to lose business based on having that kind of customer service representatives run the front end of the business. So sorry for Sharon.
