This place was an incredible life savor. I needed a cake for my nieces 17th birthday on short notice. She had a specific vision in mind for her cake. I called the store and Rafael was nothing short of amazing. He was very thorough and patient with making her vision come to life. Rafael was incredible and accommodating. The cake was beautiful and very tasty. Thank you for exceeding our expectations. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering from you again.

White Cake with chambord filling and white buttercream icing

I love this bakery! I used it for my wedding and get cake every year for my anniversary. They are my favorite bakery with so many great flavors and options. My favorite is their almond cake with chambord or white buttercream. I love the chocolate with oreo filling and also the regular white or strawberry cakes with buttercream or chambord. Everything tastes amazing here and the owner and staff are super friendly! They are also very considerate with COVID restrictions. You can still order slices, bakery items, or full cakes online and pick up curbside so without any danger of touching anything. They wear gloves and masks and bring it your car. I highly recommend this bakery anytime and also during the pandemic for those who crave delicious cake but want to stay safe with restrictions.

My 25th Anniversary Cake (without my fresh flowers)
Charbella H.

I have eaten their cupcakes and cakes on several occasions so I chose them to help my husband and I celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. This is a special milestone and so what better way to celebrate than with cake from someone we trust. If you are planning a special occasion and want a custom made cake, please give them plenty of notice. I came in person a few times to discuss my cake and get their feedback before ordering my cake. I sent them a picture by email of my cake design and they helped me make a few changes to eliminate the overload of frosting from the flower design and cost. Why spend the extra money if I would have scooped it off of my cake. Instead, I chose fresh flowers from a florist nearby. Unfortunately for me, I let the flowers sit too long on my cake before snapping a picture so I removed them before taking the picture. We actually ate the cake the next day so it's my mistake. If you are undecided on which cake flavor/frosting, you can purchase a cake test sample of many cakes and frostings. They were all delicious so don't expect this to make your decision making easier. I believe it comes with eight mini squares of cake with the description above each. Enough cake for one or two big bites but this depends on how big your bite is. LOL My husband and I really enjoyed our cake and we are grateful for the hard work and dedication from your staff. Thank you for your suggestions and patience. My only regret is not having your bakery make our 25th anniversary cake of the day my husband and I met. I went to another Bakery and it was horrible. I highly recommend them for any special occasion or if you just want a slice of cake/cupcake and other baked goods to go.

Thank you Jamie and your talented team for making this dream of ours happen in our vision for our wedding cakes!! The flavor of the cake we chose for the bride's cake was white cake with blueberry lemon cream cheese frosting, and for the groom's cake we chose chocolate cake with salted caramel frosting. We were impressed with the depth of flavor. We'd recommend working with Creme de la Creme for your wedding! We found that the team also had fair pricing as well for what the team delivers.

This place was recommended to me by someone who knows I loooooove cake. I'm glad that I finally made way over to this cute bakery. I tried the almond cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting. It was moist with just the right amount of sweetness. The cake itself was light and airy...made me feel like I could eat more! The bakery also sells mini pies. I tried the pumpkin cheesecake pie and u thoroughly enjoyed it. My con for this bakery is the limited hours. I also would've appreciated more options when it came to cake flavors.

Here the flavors are side by side. Left: Italian cream cake. Right: Pineapple cake.

My mother and I chose Creme de la Creme out of the hundreds of bakeries we found in Fort Worth and surrounding areas to make the cake for my wedding because we loved the historical shop, and the lady who owns it was super nice, and very capable. Jamie has a checklist, and a contract. I could tell from the contract, she has had run-ins with some real BRIDEZILLAS!!! Jamie let us come to several different cake-tasting meetings where she prepared different flavor combinations for us. We chose the Italian cream cake with cream cheese filling and white buttercream icing, and pineapple cake with raspberry filling and white buttercream. I also had brought a picture of the Midsummer Night's Dream wedding cake from The Great British Baking Show for her to use as a reference. bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01... She said she didn't watch, but she liked the picture I brought. I really loved what she did!!! The decorations and colors were perfect! She even made the little bees! The flavors and everything were amazing! The cake... to die for! My favorite was the pineapple cake, and my husband loves the nuts in the Italian cream cake. It was a perfect day, and a perfect cake. Thanks Jamie, and everyone at Creme de la Creme, for helping making my wedding day perfection!

Creme de la Creme made my bridal shower cake and will be making my wedding cake. The cake is off the charts on flavor and is super moist! The staff is very friendly and easy to work with! The first time I came in to Creme de la Creme was during their open house (which I highly recommend coming to one - check their website for times). There, you get to try bite size pieces of a few of their cake options. They won me over when I tried their white cake. My thing is, if you can get your white cake to taste that amazing, then you can make a great cake no matter which flavor it is! I loved my bridal shower cake! We went with the white cake with blackberry filling. The cake was exactly as it tasted when we got a sample slice. It was moist, the icing is homemade, and the filling was fresh. It was a big hit at my shower! I can't wait to see the wedding cake!! I highly recommend Creme de la Creme for all of your cake needs!!!

Lemon raspberry slice

So I came to this establishment, unaware that their major focus was wedding cakes. It became apparent as soon as we walked through the door. There were fake wedding cakes everywhere. Location - I warn you that this place is located off of 820 in the ghetto. We wrote that off though cause there are some great places to eat, in not so great locations. We circled the block before we could find this place though. We called them to seek clarity. It's right on Lancaster and there are a few street parking spots in the front. We struggled to find the counter/actual bakery area. They have few select items in a display case. There are two shelves within the display case; one row of cup cakes (2 flavors- vanilla and chocolate) and one row of slices of cake (3 flavors - carrot cake, lemon raspberry cake, and a chocolate caramel). We were told that "they get different flavors every week." This confused me since it is a bakery and that statement makes it seem like they order cakes from elsewhere and then just sell them by the slice. THEY DON'T LET YOU CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD UNLESS YOUR TOTAL IS OVER $7, WHICH IS RIDICULOUS. I hate when restaurants have signs like these; it's like they are forcing you to buy more just so that they are covered when it comes to the credit card fees. (Places have these signs so that paying processing fees for charging credit cards are worth it to them.) The raspberry lemon cake was good but there was some moisture around the slices' edges, which kind of tells me that their display case isn't even the slightest refrigeration in the case. It was good but dry in the center. It had a butter cream frosting on the outside of the cake. Between the layers there was raspberry. My friend got the carrot cake, which she liked better. The carrot cake was good and the texture great. Again, NOT SURE IF THEY BAKE THEIR OWN CAKES IN THE DISPLAY due to an earlier worker's comment. The slices were over $4 each and they have cupcakes for $3.75.

Our cake/cupcake set up looked amazing!

Let me start by saying that I drove all the way from North Dallas to try out Creme de la Creme and it was well worth the time. We were ordering cupcakes for our wedding and had gotten a recommendation from my sister for Creme de la Creme. We set up a meeting to check it out and were very impressed. We ended up ordering 120 cupcakes and a 6" cake with a 10" dummy underneath. The cupcake price started at the standard $2 per cupcake and the cake was a standard $4 per slice. We added in some detail Including fresh fruit and other delicate toppings) that took the cupcake price up some but none of them were over $3 per cupcake. We did end up picking them up ourselves because the delivery was going to be expensive, but hey like I said I live in N. Dallas and was getting married in E. Plano. My dad picked up the cupcakes and had no problems at the bakery or getting everything to the venue with no damages. When I first saw the cake it looked exactly like what I has envisioned...it was BEAUTIFUL!! During the reception people kept raving about how delicious the cupcakes were and are still talking about them a week later. Our flavors were almond cake with raspberry filling topped with cream cheese frosting and slivered almonds, white cake with Chambord frosting and a fresh raspberry, Coconut cake with buttercream frosting topped with toasted coconut and chocolate caramel truffle with chocolate ganache frosting topped with chocolate shavings. All were delicious and I can't wait to have the almond again on my anniversary! I would definitely recommend Creme de la Creme and will absolutely be back!!!

Absolutely stunning for a small holiday wedding.

I called 30 min prior to closing to see what vegan cupcakes they had because on their website I saw "VF Pumpkin" I got excited thinking they brought back the vegan pumpkin so I called to double check. She tells me it's just vegan vanilla & chocolate. I asked if I could go ahead and place an order to pick up and that I was already on the way (I'm just down the street). The lady tells me no, that orders have to be placed in advanced. I asked even if it's just for 1 or 2? She says yes. I said that's weird given I have always just walked in and got them. Again, I asked so if I walk in I can't get one? She says no and that they're about to close (again this is 30 min before, and I've walked in before closing before and have never had an issue, no attitudes). I told her that's weird and she just told me to have a good night in the most snarkiest of ways. Idk who I spoke with, whether it was just a front girl, a manager, whoever... but that was just the rudest experience that I don't think I deserved given I was asking really nicely so I could just be in and out. As someone who is also in the customer service business I have never and would never turn away a client like that. I

Everything was sparkling clean and the young lady on duty was on the phone, obviously talking to a customer, but acknowledged me immediately. When she finished with her customer she formally greeted me with a very pleasant tone and delightful smile - very sweet young woman. All of the cupcakes had simple but lovely decoration. I told her what I needed and she quickly gathered up 18 cupcakes, 3 each of 6 differently flavors. There were 3 or 4 others flavors available that I didn't choose. Since it was close to lunch time I ordered a panini which she quickly put together. I was in and out pretty quickly and very pleased with the shopping experience. The cupcakes were for an early evening adult women's get-together. Everyone remarked how petty they were and seemed to enjoy the cupcakes. Almost everyone asked where I got them. I picked a cupcake with a little orange jelly on top of butter cream that was coated with what I think was crystallized sugar. The cupcake itself was great -very moist - but to my taste, the crystallized sugar was too much on top of the butter cream. I founded it too crunchy and too sweet. I just scraped off as much of the sugar as I could and it was fine - the butter cream was yummy. I will use CC's again.
