It was okay. First time here. It was at the end of a time of ice storms. Business was slow everywhere, if even open. I popped into Pastry Paradise as I saw it when I was going to 1890 Marketplace. The gentleman working there was quite gracious and kind. The place was clean and organized. I ordered a piece of German Chocolate cake and a piece of Italian Cream cake. The baker had just pulled some Chocolate Chip cookies from the oven, so I added one of those too. The German Chocolate cake was very moist. To my taste, it wasn't very flavorful. The Italian Cream cake wasn't as moist and the frosting was a bit sweet for my taste. I have not yet eaten the Chocolate Chip cooking but it looks great. While I wish I liked the cakes more, I may try other things here. read more

Our first time ordering from this bakery. We shared the midnight cookie, banana bread and the beautiful coconut torte. All were delicious. The couple/owners are very nice and welcoming. The bakery had a cozy feeling. Ordered a German chocolate cake for a birthday party. I forgot to take a picture of the cake so please excuse my photo. A little pricey but well worth it. Place your order at least 7 days before your event to avoid late ordering fee. The cake was big & beautiful, moist and not too much icing. Just a perfect amount of sweetness. His family & guests loved the cake. read more

It's been some time since I last visited this bakery and I happen to spot it while driving around during our icy weather and swung by. Everything is still so wonderful and the man who helped me was so sweet (I'm assuming the Mister to the fantastic pastry chef Ms. Efua). Just as it was done by Ms. Efua at my first visit years ago, the baked goods were carefully placed into their boxes and a ribbon was tied onto them. My first review from years ago said the price was more than I expected, but honestly? I think the prices are actually very fair. If we can go get crumbl cookies or cookie society cookies without batting an eye, we can definitely get cookies and other pastries at a small business. I wholeheartedly love Pastry Paradise and I'm so happy they're still thriving. It's such a lovely mom and pop shop that wraps you in so much warmth with some radio music in the background. The display of cakes and other baked goods will make you want to buy everything. It all looks so amazing. You won't regret it. read more

CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH! Best desserts I've had in a long time. Owned by the cutest couple. The sweetest people- and truly are the meaning of a great small business. Will be going back again! Had a strudel with icing straight out of the oven, cookies, and slices of cake. Great prices. Seriously amazing, can't say it enough! Thank you!! -Kaley, Colton, Kollyns read more

Stopped by here on a whim after ordering a pizza next door. It's located in a little strip center with parking in the front. Was greeted by a lovely gentleman who took great care of us. You could tell he has a passion for what he does and takes pride in it. We chose the carrot cake and the lemon raspberry cheese cake. Both were delicious but that cheesecake was off the charts good. It's a small business where you walk in and order. Really no place to sit and we were there later in the afternoon so selections were limited to cakes. I'm looking forward to trying the breakfast items. Just go. You won't be sorry. read more

OMG! Best tiramisu cake we've ever had!!! My boyfriend's mom loves tiramisu, so we knew we had to get her a cake for her 80th birthday. Luckily, I was able to find this bakery on yelp. We came here to try a slice ahead of time, and we were hooked! Talk about yumminess! Eesh! We loved every bite. More please??? :P The owners were super sweet and accommodating. We wanted the cake to be special and memorable, and it was exactly what we got. Everyone loved the cake as much as we did. Looking forward to coming back to this shop to try other cakes as well. I couldn't find these on yelp earlier, but now, suddenly here it is... This bakery is amazing. It is a hidden gem, and it totally needs to be more well-known. Wanted a little something sweet before heading back to Fort Worth. This place is a gem! Bought the coconut torte but then saw the bread pudding so I got that to go. Also bought the cinnamon bread, carrot cake bread and cheese bread. All were great! The coconut torte was pure bliss! I think the cheese bread was my favorite because I was thinking cheddar but it was like cream cheese pastry taste - so yummy! read more

This place is a hidden gem!!!! We went in and ordered a piece of chocolate flan, coconut torte and black forest cake. We were not expecting the incredible flavors we held in our hands. The flan is possibly the BEST thing i have ever eaten. The coconut torte was moist and full of flavor. The black forest cake was a great combination of chocolate and cherry. Do not pass this place up!!!! It is WAY more than you expect. The owners are humble and so polite. It was an incredible experience. Sorry no pics. We ate them too fast. read more

Me and my sweet tooth back at it again lol. This place is 30 minutes away from my home, but 5 minutes away from where I get my hair done. So off I went : ) This bakery is cute and customer service was on point. I got a slice of strawberry cake & bread pudding. It came out to a little over $12. The cake is scrumptious. Moist and not too sweet, just like I like it. Also, not too much icing. The bread pudding on the other hand, sad sad disappointment. It didn't taste fresh, hard pass. The time my sugar cravings kick in, I'll be heading back for a treat. Give them a try, u won't be disappointed. read more

Paid $67 for a 7 " very small cake for my husband's birthday. I Ordered an Italian Cream cake which always has pecans & coconut in it. I got a vanilla cake with pecans on top covered in powdered sugar. Although the cake was tasty it wasn't what I ordered & was extremely overpriced since the layers were only about 1.5" tall. Not a good value at all for a vanilla cake with pecans on it. read more

My fiancé begs me to come to Paradise weekly, we both enjoy their sweet so much! Our favorites include a Lobster tail filled with cream, and the homemade blueberry scones. Recently, they made both scones and a lemon cake (to my liking) for my bridal shower. My guests enjoyed the cake and scones so much that I had nothing to pack away after the party!
