This little shop wasn't hard to find at all, that was a plus. When visiting eateries in Fort Worth, that's something I think about. I had no idea they were there, actually, I had no idea many of those shops were in that area. When I walked in, did I picture a cute little ice cream shop that I'd want to sit in and talk the evening away, no. It was slightly busy and I'm not too fond of having conversations, while people are constantly walking in and out. It would be nice if they had outside seating, as the weather starts to cool, it would make for a very nice evening. I chose the Mint Oreo Milkshake, it was very delicious. So, very delicious! Would I visit again, probably not. I don't think I would be willing to commit to paying $13.00+ a tip for a large (actual size of a small/medium) shake, where there are other ice cream shops (Braums) that are a staple in many communities and are half the price. I know they like to play on the "we use nitro ...", but the price is still the price, and people feel as if they're not getting what they're paying for; that's the issue. I'm happy I had the chance to experience this new little spot, it was nice! read more

Wow, this was such a fun twist on ice cream. Creamistry is tucked away in a shopping center that has plenty of restaurants to try nearby. I had seen this place before, but I never took the opportunity to go inside. The girls behind the counter were so sweet and made my ice cream very quickly. The shop was very clean and the A/C was working, which I appreciate in this summer heat! I ended up taking my ice cream to go, but I ordered the speculoos overload which was so flavorful! It highly exceeded my expectations. The price may be a little high, but the quality of ice cream is right up there with it. read more

A perfect summer treat thanks to Creamisty! I had been eyeing this particular stop when coming to this side of town when Lola's was still not to far away, and stopping at neighboring places in the shopping center. Staff was outstandingly helpful during my visit. If you have kids in tow they will love the smoke coming off of the machine when making the ice cream. I got the banana pudding option and it was delicious. I may get a build your own or chocolate version, but the banana is going to become a staple! Worth the visit for a sweet, cold, summer treat! read more

I visited today for Yelp Elite week, with my girls, to try them out. I don't often eat ice cream, so I was pleased to see that they offer sorbet. One of my daughters has a lot of diet restrictions, so we were very happy to find that they offered two Vegan bases of ice cream (oat and coconut). I got the pineapple whip, it was super creamy and very delicious. The girls got a Taro Oat ice cream and a mint and chocolate coconut ice cream. Everything was excellent! The girls working were super friendly and the service was fast. The place is small, but it's an ice cream shop. There was plenty of seating. Overall, it was great and I'm sure we'll be back. read more

What a quick and fun experience! Creamistry makes ice cream by using nitrogen! A fun way to show your little ones a science experiment right in front of their eyes! They have all sorts of signature creations or you can do your own mixture that you choose yourself! I chose the choose your own mixture with a milk coffee flavor mixed in with cheesecake bites, Reesse's cup, and Heath toffee! Truly a delectable treat on a hot summer afternoon. The really nice woman making the ice cream was super helpful with any questions I had about the menu and made it such a fun experience! read more

This is a wonderful ice cream shop with lots of variety. I liked that you could make a shake out of any of the different options available. I chose the sea salted caramel nitro shake with Heath bar mixed in and it is amazing. This service here is lovely. Went back for another visit with my wife and daughter, I wanted them to try this concept of ice cream and see how it was made. I had the Quantum Coffee this time and it was good. The Smores cup was really good too, they even take the time to manually char the marshmallows with a hand torch, that was a cool affect. Wife had one with a brownie in it, can't recall the name, but it was really good too. All of them had super smooth and creamy ice cream, not the crystallized stuff in the grocery stores. It is a little on the pricey side, but it's crazy good. read more

If you're looking for a cold treat and have some money to spend this is your place. The ice cream is good if expensive for what you get. Due to the reflective surfaces everywhere it is very loud even with few patrons (my friends and I had a very hard time hearing each other and it wasn't that busy). Fun to experience but is it my go to ice cream shop: no. read more

Got there 7 mins before closing time and I asked if I could still get something and the staff agreed but there was this one girl with black hair and glasses couldn't get her name but she was slamming everything and on top of that she prepared our ice cream and was licking the prepping utensils she was using after preparing our ice cream! Horrible experience. read more

My family and I visited Creamistry for the first time on a Friday evening. There weren't any customers when we first walked in, but it worked out because there were so many options to choose from that we didn't feel rushed reading through the menu. We ultimately landed on the Banana Pudding from their signature creations menu and we have zero regrets. My toddler enjoyed seeing the way they made the ice cream and furthermore enjoyed the ice cream after the ice-cream-making "show." The niche is definitely the way they make their ice cream and when they make it. If you've got easily entertained tots, take them here for a treat! read more

I slipped in right before close this Friday night (9:50pm) & was greeted very courteously by the server. The ice cream? Easily a 5. Rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious -- truly some of the best I've had. But the rest of the experience? A hard no, which is why this is a 2-star review. The shop's cleanliness (or lack of it) was concerning. Every time we go in there the tables and floors need cleaning. One employee was on their phone -- with gloves on -- then immediately started handling toppings. Newsflash: gloves don't magically become antibacterial shields just because you're wearing them. If you touch your phone (aka the germiest object we all own), those poop germs are now on our food. Yum? And while we're at it -- if you're working with food, please tie your hair back. No one wants a surprise scoop of your long, greasy hair in their sundae. Amazing product, but management seriously needs to get a grip on hygiene and basic food safety. Until then, I'll be enjoying this ice cream... from somewhere else. read more

Was out and about in Fort Worth and decided to go for a new ice cream place. We found Creamistry and we were intrigued. Big variety of flavors and toppings on the menu to choose from. It wasn't very busy when we arrived, there was 1 group in front of us and they already ordered. We were a group of 3 and ordered 3 things. There aren't very many tables in here and of those, only one was clean. The other 4 or 5 tables were covered in sticky icecream remnants. After waiting an unusually amount of time, we realized we never heard our name and a different group of people took our order. We only realized this because one of the people in the other group realized they didn't get coffee icecream after taking a bite and gave it back to the girls working the counter. The girl at the counter then proceeded to try and hand it to me and said they didn't touch it. I asked them to remake it as I was not comfortable accepting food items that have been handled by a group of strangers. The chemistry theme is cute, but it's easily looked past when you realize a scoop of icecream is $6+. On top of that, they gave someone in my group one of the most burned waffle cones I have ever seen. Skip this place and go find a local Fort Worth ice cream shop. My go to is called "Melt". Dirty tables, dusty light fixtures a few feet above your ice cream, not my type of place. read more

We have been coming to Creamistry for a long time. The ice cream is great and the service is always friendly.

Might be the biggest waste of $10 (for the small) that I've had in a long time. I've had the same ice cream here 5 years ago and it was great, I guess it's gone way downhill. Worst and most bland ice cream I've ever had. Won't eat here again. Don't waste your money. read more

The ice cream was delicious, and there were many flavor combinations that intrigued me, but I tried to the Speculoos because I am a big fan of cookie butter. The ice cream did not disappoint. It was very creamy and delicious. Also, I love that I did not feel heavy or weighed down after I ate it. The only downside is the price, $9, for the size of product you receive, a regular which looks kind of small. read more

This is a solid ice cream shop! I was first skeptical of the whole nitrogen because the last time I did that was in chemistry class and it tasted awful. However, at this shop the ice cream was low key fire. I got the cookie butter and am definitely going back for more! I came in here with a friend for an after dinner treat a little while back only after discovering that the bakery next door was no longer there. Clearly its been a while since I've hung out on 7th St. My taste buds switched to anticipate a cold and fruity dessert instead. Being the first timers, we sorta navigated the menu ourselves while the employees just looked at us. Not one of them offered any info or suggestions. We placed our orders, hoped for the best, and started watching them mix our ice cream. I snapped a pic of them making it but didn't post it because honestly the employee didn't have a pleasant demeanor. The ice cream itself was good but definitely on the pricey side. The garnishes were sad (lime had browning edges and Takis were stale.) The whole experience didn't leave me wanting to return any time soon. read more

So this started as an amazing ice cream place when it came in. Unfortunately it has started to decline. Today I came in to a nearly empty store (used to come in and it would be packed) that smelled horrific. A strong urine/ sewage smell. Ordered ruby cacao with mochi and oreos. Service was meh. Got it and somehow it was already semi melted and not even full, even though its liquid nitrogen. Decide to try it anyway, as we were eating my husband found a piece of plastic in it. The manager was sorta matter a fact but not super concerned but he did remake it. The remake was better but still not as good as it used to be. As someone who really enjoyed this place, this is very disappointing. I truly hope they can come back around to the great service and ice cream they had before. read more

I love creamistry but this one is a disaster. I brought some friends to this location for their first experience and am sure they won't he giving it another try. It smells terrible when you walk in like you at a bar not a ice cream shop. They were out of waffles and the rewards system was down. Additionally only one machine was making smoke. I bought 4 ice creams for which I got no reward. The tables and floor were dirty and the bathroom was gross. Regional brand management should stop by and whip this location into place. Normally I like to try a place out twice before writing a review (especially bad reviews) but I know I will not be back to this place. There are a lot of ice-cream place out there and I know there's another ice-cream place closer to me that uses liquid nitrogen to make their ice cream. This place is new and location is good. Plenty of parking and inside is clean but narrow. There's not a lot of seating so you won't want to come in with a large group. My bf and I got the cookies and cream to share and it was ehhhh. Nothing impressive. read more

I came in on a Saturday night around 9pm and this place was packed! There was a line stretching to almost out the door. The seating area is small and you could tell that there was definitely not enough tables for the amount of customers in line. Luckily, a couple left right as we had finished placing our order so our group was able to find a table. I noticed that alot of people got their ice cream and had to take it to go; in the spring/summer when the weather is warmer, it would be perfectly fine to sit outside or to walk around, however, on a night that is kind of cooler (such as the night that we went) that would not be an option. The concept of hand-crafted ice cream made from liquid nitrogen is cool but it is definitely not worth the price that we paid for it. My husband and I shared the affogato with vanilla bean ice cream and our friends got the regular size cookies and creme ice cream. The affogato was a whopping $7.45 and was very small- definitely not big enough for two people to share. It did not look like the advertisement picture at all. I did thoroughly enjoy the coffee that they used; it was strong, rich, and aromatic. The vanilla bean ice cream was delicious but not overwhelming rich and sweet which I like. I did have a bite of my friend's cookies and creme ice cream and it was also delicious. At $5.95, I thought this was pricey. Keep in mind, this price did not include any toppings- if you want toppings, it is an extra $1 per topping. Overall the taste is there but I think the prices make it hard to convince me to come back. I really enjoyed the consistency of the ice cream- hard to explain but it was not as thick and hard as ice cream that I have had at the average ice cream joint. This would be a cool place to take out-of-town guests if they are new to the concept of liquid nitrogen ice cream (although these joints are quickly popping up across the country these days). You can watch them make the ice cream while waiting in line and the visible fog that forms makes for a cool show, especially for the kids! It would also be a good choice if you have certain dietary restrictions as they offer 4 different bases (non-dairy and vegan options available) with which the ice cream can be made from. Worth a try if you have never had liquid nitrogen crafted ice cream but hard to make it a regular spot to visit at these prices. read more

The customer service, or lack thereof, will keep me from visiting this Creamistry location. I visited the shop with my boyfriend. We had been to a Creamistry in Dallas and knew exactly what we wanted. When it came time to order we were forced to do so with the rudest person I'd ever encountered at an ice cream shop. She wouldn't speak until we told her what we wanted. And when we placed our order she griped that we wanted the ice cream in a cone. Worse still, is when we got our order. She placed the cones in cups and mine was twice the size of my boyfriend's even though we both ordered the "regular" size. It was such an unpleasant experience. And it's ice cream; it's supposed to be fun, particularly when liquid nitrogen is involved. Not even. read more
