"I named it Leo, after my youngest brother who has autism and shares my love of churros and ice cream, it's my homage to him." ~ Jesus Jesus comes from a long line of food vendors and truck owners. Today, he is out on his own working with his two favorite desserts. The sundaes & pops are delicious! I now have a go to for churros in Fort Worth. * represented and/or story told. * Value for money. Ambiance is on point.

Been by here several times and finally got a chance to see what it's all about. We ordered the Churro Sunday and 2 regular Churros. One cinnamon and one caramel. Cost was 10 for the Sunday and 5 each for the churros. The guys working were very friendly and service was quick. The churros were fresh and so dam hot I could barely hold them. The sundae was strawberry shortcake and was very good. It's a food truck at a cool little outdoor seating area. They had Christmas music playing and everything. They also serve tacos and burritos. The churro were so good I'll go back and try the tacos!!!

I was really excited to try this place. Total let down. No drizzle. no warm churro. Not the sundae feeling. It's basically ice cream with cereal up top and two churros. For the price I would make sure the churros were warm. Maybe add a drizzle & cereal in between the ice cream (caramel, chocolate, lechera, etc.) or stuffed churros??? I really wanted to recommend this place.

This food truck was at Friday on the Green. I have heard of this place before but had not gone yet and so decided to check it out. You order at the window and give your name then they call when your order is ready. Service was fast and the staff were friendly. I loved my churro. I was worried it would be too sweet but it wasn't.

Experienced my 1st Strawberry Shortcake Churro at a pop up at a local brewery; it was delicious!! Creamy vanilla ice cream with a generous amount of toppings with 2 large cinnamon churros hit the spot and paired well with my craft beer. Very friendly staff; I will definitely look for their food truck in the future; I have more flavors to try!!

This is a cool food at the end of the block in the cutest parking lot. Service has always been great, the guys are so sweet. Items are pretty straight forward so a simple transaction. Caramel - the best! Nutella - my daughter that was the best but I thought was too nutty (peanuts are added) and not chocolaty enough. Fruity pebbles - on point Sugar - okay Strawberry- bomb Def try this spot and bring a jacket if it's cool out - there is a little wait time because they are fresh!

Tried this new spot. Big fan of churros and this one was pretty great. Service was great and super friendly. Super cute area. Recommend it!

Leo's Churro Bar offers a variety of churros for your sweet tooth. It is the coolest food truck in the coolest area, perfect for a group of friends who want to sit outside and have a snack and perfect for a family outing. I had to have the Fruity Pebbles churro, and my daughter tried the Orange Shortbread one. It was a great experience.

Not as good as I wanted it to be. The churros were great, my husband got Cookie and Cream, it was pretty good. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Sundae. The churro was good, however, the ice cream part was lacking. Not that the ice cream wasn't good its just that it was plain ice cream with cereal on top. When you say sundae I expected cinnamon ice cream or cereal mixed in throughout the ice cream. It was kind of a let down. Service was ok, the area kind of gives a little food truck courtyard feel. Overall not bad but could easily be improved.

Visited Leo's a couple of weeks ago after a day at the park. I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch churro sundae. It was ok. My daughter got the Nutella one and I wished I had chosen that one. It was really good. The churros themselves are alright nothing too special about them. All in all it was a good snack for a very good price. Would go again

Leo's Churro Bar is absolutely charming. Located a little over a mile from Montgomery Square, the cute food truck parked in a old town Fort Worth really surprised me with its deliciously sweet flavors. With the option of a sundae and churros or churros alone, you really can't go wrong. My husband and I shared the nutty Nutella sundae. It came with warm and gooey Nutella covered churros and vanilla ice cream. As much as I want to say the reason why I ate 70% of the delicious dessert myself was because my husband walked away for a sec i really can't..I just couldn't stop. My unnatural craving for ice cream every 5 minutes paired with the warm Nutella fudge on a chilly day was more than my willpower could handle. Leo's Churro Bar was a cute Sunday afternoon treat that any family or friends would love. The location is also adorable and Instagram worthy. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Super Yummy!!! I've been meaning to go back but I hate driving around DT!! It does take them awhile to come to the window I literally had to knock on it but I don't mind being a bit assertive. If you aren't assertive you'll probably be standing waiting to place your order for awhile.

I got the fruity pebbles churro and it was not worth it for the price. It was good, but about $7 for a churro.

But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

The explanation given that the system "couldn't handle the wind" is deeply concerning. If awnings advertised and installed for cold weather cannot be safely used in windy conditions, that is a serious operational and safety issue that should be addressed before guests are seated underneath them. Instead, customers were left exposed, freezing, and ignored. What made this worse was not the weather, but the complete lack of accountability or alternative solutions. No effort to relocate guests, no escalation to management, just repeated refusal. This reflects poor planning and even worse customer care. Management should take this seriously. I would expect someone to reach out, because this experience alone is enough to keep us and others from returning.

"The Gastro Bomber is serving up traditional pub grub with a Texas twist and the customary pub…read moreculture...good music and friendly conversation!" - From GB's FB page. So yesterday (10/3/2012) Keller had it's first pop-up food truck event. I was very happy to catch wind of it, for I'm usually late to the party when it comes to events. In attendance were Gastro Bomber and So-Cal Tacos (http://www.yelp.com/biz/so-cal-tacos-fort-worth). My plan was to order something from each truck, one as a way to show support, and two, well because I'm a glutton and wanted to try both. I looked over both menus and came to a decision. From GB it was going to be the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. I've been wanting C&Ws forever, from anywhere, and tonight was finally my night to try this item. The first thing to point out is it was not really a "sandwich" unless you want to stretch it and call it an open-faced sandwich. Second, it was not a full-sized waffle, but rather something rectangular. It consisted of three pieces of boneless chicken and a drizzle of maple syrup. Cost, $8. It was very good. The chicken was tender and the waffle delicious. What I noticed, and confirmed, is that there is corn meal in the waffle batter. I was told this is the Southern twist they like to add to there food. It was like Belgian cornbread. Yummy! Now I will add my wife's comment, which seem to be true of all food trucks, is that the cost to quantity ratio seems to be a little high. Three large tenders on essentially half a waffle for 8 bucks seems a bit much. Now I came up with a new take on the cost and that is this; One, your getting to try something new and somewhat unique. Two, and here's the kicker, your bottom line cost is perhaps a bit less than if you sat down in a restaurant. If tips are expected at food trucks, I did not see any obvious vessel for the cash to go in. You can bring your own drinks, and thus your bottom line for a unique dining experience really is not bad. I for one am glad this came together. I was excited when I learned that Keller might be getting it's own food truck park, and was disappointed when I learned the plans were not approved. Somehow I think Keller's loss will be Roanoke's gain (Actually Corina T., aka the "shark lady", who I met at this event said that). From this point forward I will keep track of food trucks coming to Keller, and there are definitely a few more items on GB's menu I would like to try (Irish Nachos, Shepherd's Pie Croquettes, Fish and Chips, Picanha Sandwich). PS. If you missed it, they will be back in the same spot (at the CVS at the NE corner of 1709 and Rufe Snow) next week, 10/10/2012 from 5 to 8PM. One quick tip: Do bring your own chairs!
