She apologized and agreed to fully refund the cake. She did not offer any solutions for the day of the event. She gave me stories on why she couldn't pay the money back immediately, and because I had used her previously, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and offered several options to resolve. but kept giving me excuses about the refund, and after a while just stopped responding. I find it hard to believe that someone would take money paid for a service, not provide the service and then completely disappear.

My mom wasn't going to be home during the delivery time so she left a bin with ice and a note to put them in there. I called to see if I could change the delivery time - they had no record of my order. After 15 min they finally found it. Then they said I have to call Uber or door dash - whoever I used to - to change it. I didn't use any of those I ordered off the website and paid them the delivery charge. After another 15 minutes they finally figured out that they arrange the delivery. By then it was already on its way. I messaged the delivery person 3 times to ask to put them please put the cakes in the bin so they don't melt - a note was also on the door to please put them in the bin. The delivery person would not message me back and refused to put them in the bin. A simple act of kindness was too much. On a day that I'm trying to do something nice for my mom and sister on my dad's first birthday since he died - they just completely ruined the sentiment. Great cakes - horrible employees.

But these cakes are moist and if you don't like fondant she can use icing and make it look like fondant!! Major plus because many don't like fondant and remove it when eaten!!! Unless you prefer fondant she can do that as well. Her cakes are reasonably priced and look beautiful!! The owner is honest and will go out of her way to design a cake just the way you want it. She also delivers and sets up so no worries or concerns there. She has plenty of platters to chose from for your cake also. We chose an elegant round platter. I give her 5 stars because I keep going to her for my cakes and she has a bakery now on Altamesa blvd close to Southwest High School. with many goodies to to stop and buy.
