Turkey Lurkey Special Deliwich

My husband may be addicted to their eggells with bacon and egg. He recently had it on parmesan bagel and wanted to go back today for another one. They are very filling with plenty of egg and bacon. We also enjoy a caramel macchiato that I still think is better than Starbucks. Order at register once you know what you want. The earlier you get there the more choices you have. If going in afternoon the some bagel choices, scones, muffins, croissants (including sandwiches and piggies) are likely to be gone. They appear to be in process with some changes to inside seating area. Staff have always been professional.

Bagels were fresh and tasty - they do run out quick so be sure to get some before lunch time! The service was quite slow, taking about 20min for 3 bagels sandwiches. Not sure if the girl working was new, but the sandwiches were not cut completely through and fell apart in 2 seconds. The taste was still good, just very messy and hard to eat - compared to other times we've visited.

I've been looking for a good bagel place south of downtown Dallas and this is the strongest contender by far! They have an extensive menu, and so far I've enjoyed what I've tried. The lox is a solid option but I think my favorite has to be the garden fresh breakfast sandwich! The lattes are solid if you really need a coffee fix, and they have the major flavors and syrups you'd want; their milk options aren't that extensive but it's enough to find the right beverage to pair with your food. The service is pretty fast. I usually have to grab and hit the road, but they have more than enough space to enjoy your food inside.

Al's Lox Special Deliwich. So fresh and prettily packaged for delivery.

I love this space so much. It's delicious, cozy, and clean, the staff is sweet, and the simple menu of bagels, coffee, and kolaches is pretty perfect. Go for a feel-good seasonal beverage and a hearty, house-made bagel with freshly whipped cream cheese. I've been eyeing the "Southside Flamethrower" with 2 eggs, sausages, jalapeños, and Swiss cheese. Yep. Or maybe the "Garden Fresh" with 2 egg whites, bell peppers, tomatoes, avocado, and house-made veggie cream cheese... yum. Jon got "AL's Lox Special" with freshly whipped chive cream cheese, smoked salmon, sprouts, red onions, capers, and tomato; and he said it was wonderful. I don't believe they have gluten free bagels, but if they did I'd actually get the "monkey bagel" first: bananas, peanut butter, cinnamon sugar, and a honey drizzle on top. How good does that sound? You can get any of their breakfast or lunch combos and spreads on any flavor of bagel, and they have a lot! Blueberry, strawberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon sugar, butterscotch, French toast, cranberry, garlic, onion, jalapeño, Italian herb, egg, rye, whole wheat, poppy seed, parmesan, everything, plain (I might be missing a couple) -- and all made from scratch. I had an iced latte with cinnamon syrup and whole milk, and Jon did a toasted marshmallow (hot) latte with almond milk. We each finished our whole coffees, which is a rarity, really. Really really good coffee. All those toasty roasted coffee beans and fresh-from-the-oven, just-browned bagels... you could go for the smell alone and be happy.

Garden Bagel with Cream Cheese

I got the garden veggie bagel with cream cheese on an original bagel. It's was sooo good. The avocado, cream cheese and the bagel itself was the standout. Bagel had the perfect texture, avocado was creamy & the cream cheese was whipped and had a lovely soft texture. Sadly the bagel also came with bell pepper that had a strange taste, and raw onion (that wasn't listed on the menu) that was the size of the bagel. Absolutely huge piece of onion that really just ruined the backend of the experience. However I'd definitely go back and give it another go!

This was absolutely phenomenal and such an underrated bagel place. It had SO much flavor and the proportions were perfection. Definitely can't wait to be back. The employees are so fast and efficient too. I love the old 90s vibes.

Caramel Macchiato and Bacon, Egg & Cheese bagel.
Amethyst G.

Always love a local establishment that is seemingly well loved by its patrons. They've got great coffee. My caramel macchiato was surprisingly on par with Starbucks. My bagel was good, but I was not pleased with the bacon used. It was very fatty and very thick for my personal liking, I think next time I will try sausage. All in all I loved the bagel options, cute quaint atmosphere and top-notch service.

Good stuff worth a stop. I got the loxs special and it hit the spot. The latte was really good and I'm a picky guy about my coffee.

I was concerned when the shop changed ownership, however, they are still making great bagels and doing a really good job!

yes, brian and his family are no longer the owners.

Do they offer milk alternatives?

I am not sure. I don't think so.

I'm in love with the Lox Special without the lox (essentially tomato, sprouts, capers and onions with chive cream cheese).

When we pulled into the parking lot, we immediately noticed how full it was. Once we walked in, there was a great amount of people sitting around, possibly having meetings and working. It was barely 11 am on a Tuesday. My coworkers and I were able to get coffee and charge our devices. There is an abundance of charging outlets all over. There is even a little seating area for children to sit and read or play. The staff was polite and helpful. We ordered with ease. I like that there is plenty of seating areas inside, two different outside patios downstairs, seating on a second level and another huge patio area upstairs. To get upstairs, you can take the stairs or use the elevator. Besides beverages, you can purchase pastries and merchandise such as t-shirts. This is definitely one of those little shops to come, sit and work while you sip your tea or coffee. It's Uber cute and trendy. Check it out!!

The barista was very friendly, but my espresso is very bitter especially considering my drink cost…read moreover $8. I tried doctoring it to make it taste better, but that was futile. This coffee is just really bad. I was hoping this was going to be my go to coffee stop this week while I'm here in Arlington for work, but I'll seek out another spot.
